Percy looked up, rather annoyed now that his book was soaked. "Excuse me. I know you Quidditch players walk around like you own the place, but do you really have no courtesy the others whatsoever?"

"You're such a prat," Oliver splashed Percy again from the water. "I'm pretty sure you already have about 5 copies of that same book." Oliver laughed and layed back in the water.

Percy opened his mouth to point out that he only had two copies of this particular book but decided against it, settling for watching Oliver in the water instead and not taking the time to wonder if this was normal. How could you not stare at Oliver with those abs? "Sh- shouldn't you be a Quidditch practice or something?" he asked as he adjusted his glasses.

Oliver stood up showing his torso up. "I'm pretty darn sexy too don't you think?" Oliver laughed and fell back with a big splash in the water.

Percy spluttered as Oliver fell back in the water, blushing at his blatent display of his body, but hiding behind his book. "I think that depends on the person...besides, being sexy isn't something you do" he mumbled

"Well you don't seem to do anything, do you?" Oliver went and sat up on the ledge of the dock. "You study, you don't have fun, you don't play quidditch, well, of course you don't play quidditch, you can't PLAY for shit can you Weasley." Oliver brushed his hand through his hair drying off his hair. "All your other siblings can play EXCEPT you. Even Ron can play and that's saying something."

Percy put his wet book down on the ground, staring at Wood, his face turning red as a quaffle in anger. "I happen to be working towards a REAL career, a REAL future. and I DO have fun, I LIKE to read, and I LIKE to study!" Percy knew he couldn't play quidditch even a quarter as well as his family, but he liked to think he knew at least SOMETHING about flying. "I can fly..." he mumbled at the end. no need to tell Oliver it wasn't particularly good flying.

"You fly? Good one." Oliver recollected flying lessons in year one. "I remember you couldn't even kick off the ground! Mind you, I don't think you could even catch a quaffle on the ground could you?"

"Sure Percy, I'd like to see you try." Oliver was now lieing back on the dock tanning. "I'm sure you have not come to ANY quidditch matches in years."

Percy scowled, but gazing upon Oliver's perfectly sculpted body, the scowl turned into more of a look of awe. he snapped back to reality "Just because I haven't been, doesn't mean I don't keep up. I have studying to do during the matches. Life's not all about fun and games." Percy crossed his arms over his chest

Oliver got up and walked over to Percy and started circling him. After a few walks around staring him down Oliver stopped behind Percy and crouched. "Poor little Percy, got to study, can't have fun, never'll get a date, never will have friends." During this statement Oliver walked his fingers up Percy's arm with each pause in the sentence and with each break he would pause. at the end of the sentence he slapped Percy lightly twice on his cheek and walked back to his spot and layed down.

Percy stared at Oliver as he circled him, getting slightly nervous. He blushed horribly when Oliver's fingers began walking up his arm. when he was slapped on the cheek, Percy brought his had up to where Oliver had touched him. he stared before getting the courage to speak. "didn't I just tell you I know how to have fun? and from what you've said, your love life isn't look all that good either"

"Look at me Percy, I could easily get any girl I want. Captain of the quidditch team. Honestly, how stupid are you?" Oliver walked over and picked up Percy's already destroyed book and flipped through it. "Book smarts gets you NOWHERE in this world Percy." Oliver threw the book in to the lake. "Street smarts is where it's at."

Percy became flustered at Oliver's first words. it was true he was good looking. anyone could see that. "Still, you have no girl..." he retorted. when Oliver picked up his book and basically INSULTED his every way of being, he gasped. "book smarts get you a LOT of places Oliver. they get you into good paying jobs and well respected status." he stood up, enraged when Oliver threw his book in the water. how DARE he?! "why would you do that Wood? Ten points from Gryffindor and you had best be ready to get me another copy of that book!" he stared directly into Oliver's beautiful brown eyes.

"You know what Percy, I will NOT get you another copy, I will not respect your authority, in fact I will do nothing you say." Oliver was slightly frustrated. "In fact, what if I don't WANT a girl. Did you ever think of that?" Oliver than realized what he said could be misinterpreted but still continued on. "I don't need to listen to a talentless, know-it-all, prat!" Oliver basically spat at him on prat. "Learn to do something useful." Oliver picked up his shirt and once again towel-whipped Percy and left.

Percy's jaw dropped as Oliver walked away, too shocked by what he said to respond. He cast one sad look at his poor book in the lake before walking back to his common room, wondering what Oliver meant by not wanting a girl.
