*She blushes - she doesn't deserve the pedestal he has her on, and it makes her love him more. She stares out at the water, watching the stars glitter against the surface of the lake, and reaches for one of his hands, pulling it round to rest on her tummy.*

It just.... made me love you all the more - knowing what you live with every day, and seeing the beautiful person you became in spite of all the odds. I always wished I was as strong as you. You're kind of my hero, Remus, and every day all I do is try to live up to you.

*She pauses, wets her lips, takes a breath, then continues.*

I have to ask though - do you really want tomorrow to go as we've planned it? I mean, without your parents? I don't want to see you lose the people you love because of me. I don't like feeling that way. It's not too late, you could send them an express owl if you wanted, and invite them.

Remus stares down at her, this beautiful woman in his arms, who is about to become his wife. His eyes fill with tears of gratitude and love for her, and he buried his face in her hair. "There are...practically no words I can use to fully describe how much I love you." He sighed at the mention of his parents. "I want them there...but I don't think they'd show up anyway. And I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable and worry about how they'll act towards you the entire time they're there."

[we can use the names from that Remione fanfic I showed Herms. The father can be Jonathan and then the mother can be err...i can't remember her name but I'll find out haha]

Remus, honey, you'll regret it if you don't give them the chance. You said it yourself - they'll come around if we just give them time. Well, if they hear that we got married and didn't even tell them, let alone invite them, how do you think they'll feel? Even if they don't come, at least you tried.
I promise I'm ok with them being there. In fact, if you don't owl them, I may just do it myself.

*She picks his hand up, kisses it, then drops it gently back on her tummy.*

He looks up to her far more than she knows; she is far more intelligent and mature than he is half the time, and he appreciates everything she says that is positive in any way. He kissed the back of her neck and rubbed her tummy gently. "Okay. I'll owl them. But if they say anything to you at all that you find offensive you let me know. Alright? I will not have them messing up this day for you."

Unless they try to paint a big red S for 'scarlet woman' on her gorgeous dress that Lily had better have had pressed and picked up by yesterday, she's not going to say a word to Remus about anything his parents might say - what would that achieve, but to upset him as well? Besides, it was Lily's job to worry about keeping everyone, everything, every tiny detail in line. If anything went wrong, it would be Lily, not Remus, copping an earful about it.*

"Believe me, I'm going to be happy." And he'll be a nervous wreck, because Amethyst just decided that that's probably how he'd get anyway and she's going to have fun with it.
Remus sighed and stood up, pulling her gently up after him. "Let's go to the owlery so I can owl my parents." He was rather nervous about it but if Hermione was there with him then he could do it.
