Trent walks out, one hand in his pocket and the other holding a cigarette. He sits down on the ground, his back to a boulder and takes a drag.

Rose walked to the Shallows, looking around for any kind of clue whatsoever. She eventually saw the outline on the grass, and sat down. She must have all the puzzle pieces now. This must be where they went. With a smile, she set about figuring out where all the pieces went. It took her a few minutes, but she got the thing put together, and leaned forward eagerly to see what it said. Little gold sparkly letters burst into the air at that point, and she fell back a little to get out of their way. Turn around. Turn around?

[YAY! I am sorry. Lateness, I know. BUT I AM DOING IT AND IT WILL BE CUTE AND AWESOME AND YAY]

Louis had been hiding behind a bush, but not in one of those mass-produced Invisibility Cloaks because Louis found those positively ridiculous. Once he saw the gold sparkly letters, which he found to be a little over-the-top now, but he pulled himself out from behind the bush carrying Rose's favorite flowers (which are whatever Rose wants them to be, le duh) and he moves towards her slowly, holding them out to her. Once she takes them from him, he shifts awkwardly into a different position and half-smirks, trying to figure out how to be smooth. It was hard to be a smooth-talker when he was around Rose and was being really cheesy in asking her to prom. It was. He grinned down at her and wrapped his arms around her, pulling into her a hug, hoping she liked the flowers. Elise will never neglect Rouis again because they are too epically cute and beat everyone else, especially Remione and Angeorge combined. Louis keeps his arms wound her waist when he pulls away, his face turning the Weasley red token blush as he mumbles, "I know this is kind of ridiculous, but, um, I like you. A lot. And I wanted to ask you in the best way possible because you mean a lot to me, even if I am a suck at showing it," He glanced out towards the shallows and turned them, so they could watch the sunset, "I thought asking you where we first hung out would be special. Like, it would mean more. And now that I've confused you a bit, I'll just come right out and ask!" He chuckled to himself and smiled, looking into her eyes and praying TO MERLIN she didn't say no, "Rose Zeller, will you go to the prom with me?"

Rose looked up, eyes narrowed in confusion, when Louis stepped out from behind the bush. She smiled immediately, and blushed when she saw the... uh... let's go with crazy daisies. She still wasn't quite sure what was going on, but then Louis had his arms around her waist and she held the flowers by her side and hugged him tight. She didn't feel that it was the time to say anything, so she let Louis turn her around and talk. She smiled wider and wider through his little speech until he asked her to prom. Then she was a little preoccupied trying to keep from gaping like a fish. Rose had never been asked to prom before. She'd never really been asked to any kind of dance or event before. "Yes," she said, trying to keep from doing anything stupid. "Yes, of course!"

Pansy slipped out of the doors of the castle and headed down to the lakeside, pausing only momentarily when she saw Blaise. Sure, she'd promised him last time they'd talked that she wouldn't bother him again, but she could go to the lake if she felt like it. She kicked off her shoes and stood in the shallows, squinting her eyes up at the sun as the wind whipped across the lake, unsure if she should say anything to Blaise or not.

Blaise saw Pansy come down and not looking at him she paddled in the shallows. His chest restricted and he felt a sesnation he had never felt before. AWKWARDNESS. He repressed the urge to dive on the floor like a whale, and instead approached her. "Pansy... Hi"

Pansy took a breath to calm herself before she spoke. "Hey Blaise." She made sure to keep the ring finger of her left hand hidden from his view, as she didn't plan on telling him just yet. It would make a tense situation even worse, and there would be plenty of time to tell him later on. "How've you been?"

"Oh, I uh, I didn't go, actually." She turned to look at him, crossing her arms nonchalantly to tuck her left hand into hiding, because face it, that ring was too big and sparkly to just miss. "I miss anything interesting?"

"Uh, I wouldn't know. I didn't go either. How come you didn't? Draco... not ask you?" The word draco was hard to get off his tongue, but he managed it.

"Oh." She nodded, but wasn't sure what she nodded at exactly. "No, he didn't. Of course, I don't blame him. The beginning of that week before prom was a little crazy. I'm sure you probably heard about that though." She figured most people knew she'd died by now, because the third years were really quite excellent at spreading gossip, no matter how accurate it may or may not be.

"He di- Wait... what happened?" He stopped, walking up to her and looking at her concerned. "Are you okay? I've been a bit out of touch, You know I would have been there in a heart beat right?"

"I'm fine now, I promise." Pansy smiled up at him and reached out to touch him on the arm, paused thinking better of it, but pushed that thought away as she lightly touched him. She was relieved that he still cared enough to say he'd come if she needed him. "Last Monday though, I was dead. Sounds crazy, doesn't it?" She couldn't help but laugh at the thought of telling someone she'd been dead on Monday.

"Well, of course I'm here. I was her horcrux apparently. I looked it all up. The killing curse only managed to destroy that bit of me, so luckily I just... sort of, woke up the next morning." With his incredulous stare, she gave him a stern look. "Blaise, I know I sound like a loon, but that's what happened. Of course, I wasn't feeling the greatest. One doesn't after being dead. So, I left Hogwarts for a while to get better, and that's why I didn't go to prom."

"Well..." He said sceptically, "As you are okay now..." He sighed and looked at her intently, "I miss this. Us. Not together, but friends. We used to be best friends. And I know its my fault thats gone. But I want to get back there again..."

"Honestly I miss it too." Pansy couldn't help but bite on her lip, hoping that keeping her marriage secret from him now wouldn't cause problems for them later. She turned and walked out of the water, taking a seat in the grass and looking up at him. "I don't blame you for it being gone. We both had a part in that. Could we try and get that again? Our friendship?"

Blaise smiled. It wasnt like the ones his face had held when him and Pansy had been together, but it was a start. "Yes. I want our friendship back. I can face the day knowing that we wont ever be together one day, but what I cant face is that fact that I may lose you as a friend. I tihnk it would destroy me Pansy" He sat down next to her and pulled her into a hug.

Blaise smileda t her as he slipped back into the familiarity as was their friendship. It was like before. Comfortable and easy... but with the same empty void of her as a friend and nothing more. "Well, Mother killled off another husband and is getting married again. Im sure you can come to the wedding, Draco will be there. Some french guy I think. I dont really keep count anymore, except the fact that with the last once, when he... died.... we inherited an island!"

Pansy laughed, genuinely happy spending time with Blaise right now, like it used to be before all this drama had happened between them. "I'd love to come, it will be like old times, all those weddings before. A whole island? Your mother always manages to outdo herself, doesn't she? Guess you can go on some pretty wonderful island vacations now whenever you like."

"Yeah, old times... remember that time that me, you and Draco stole the wedding rings? Mother was so amd, and them... when we tried to run away you tripped in your dress and got it muddy! I swear me and Draco had never laughed so hard. You got so mad. I swear my hair stayed green for a week! Who knew a 7 year old could do so much damage?" Blaise laughed at the memory.
