Rolf smiles down at her. "I feel the same way about you Luna," he whispers with a smile. "You make me feel really good about myself and I love spending time with you. It's like, I don't have to change who I am to please you. I can be myself."

"Good, I'm glad," he smiles then kisses the tip of her nose. "What do you say we get out of the water? We are kind of just standing here. Not that I don't mind holding you," he adds in an afterthought.

Luna smiles. "Alrighty then." She takes his hand and walks back to the shore.

He walks with her to the grass, then sits down where he had dropped his shirt. He lifts it up, groans because it is still soaked, then lays it out in the sun to speed up the drying process. Holding his hand out for her, he gently pulls her to him so that they are sitting together. He waits a moment, then shifts so that they are both laying down; her head on his shoulder and his around her. "Mmm, I like this," he murmurs while closing his eyes. "It's so peaceful here with you."

Luna lifts her head to kiss him on the cheek. "It is. I'm always happy when I'm with you."

"There's....well...I've heard that there is a prom coming up. Would you be interested in going?" he asks. "With me," he adds quickly.

He places a hand on her jaw, lightly pulling her face up, and then kissing her lips. "I was hoping you'd say that," he murmurs with a grin after he pulls away.

"Oh I don't know," he says while giving her shoulder a slight and gentle squeeze with his hand. "Who knows what kind of charming fellow could come and sweep you off your feet."

"Twelve?!" he says pretending to be slightly offended. "Twelve guys today. My goodness Miss. Lovegood, I knew you were amazing, but I didn't realize there was that much competition. I suppose I'll have to step up my game," he grins.

"A hat?" he asks. "Not even something good like drawing straws? Flipping a coin? Please tell me it wasn't out of the Sorting Hat, though rumour has it the hat has been off with the Scarf of Sexual Preference."

She laughs, "Nope. Just a regular old muggle hat I found the other day."

"A regular old hat," he laughs. "Well I'm glad that you had to resort to such means to choose me," he teases. "I'm also that the hat chose me in the end."

"Well then thank Merlin it chose me in the end," he grins. "I couldn't imagine going with anyone else either," he says then moves and places a light kiss on the top of her head.

Rolf lets out a laugh at what she says. "Well I certainly feel honoured," he smiles. He glances around the lake and notices that it's getting rather dark. "We should probably head into the castle," he says, gently pushing them up into a sitting position. He grabs his abandoned shirt and pulls it over his [sexy] chest. "Don't think we should stay out here all night. You'd freeze to death."

"You're right. It is kind of cold..considering you pushed me in the lake," she says with a laugh as she stands up with Rolf.

"Well you did push me first, so it was payback," he grins. After giving her a soft and lingering kiss, he takes her hand and leads her back to the castle.
