"Or... Honeydukes? I heard there's a new ice cream place too. That would be fun."

"Ohh, I love icecream! Lets do that!" He smiles happily. "Heavenly Hash is the best icecream there is."

[Alicia Spinnet- Inactive]

She narrows her eyes and shakes her head. "Nu-uh. Chocolate brownie is the best by far."

[Teddy Lupin]

"Alright, then. You'll just have to try it. I know I'll convert you, Heavenly Hash always wins." He smiles, "After all, it is heavenly."

[Alicia Spinnet- Inactive]

She rolls her eyes but smiles. "Fine. We'll just have to see then, won't we?"

[Teddy Lupin]

"I guess we will." He says, "But for now, I should go. I'll send you and owl or your sister with the day and time, alright?"

She smiles and kisses him on the lips again. "Alright. I'll be looking forward to it."

"Bye, Victoire." He says, standing up and walking back the common room.

"Bye Teddy." She smiles as she walks back to her own common room.

Alice skips down to the shallows and kicks off her shoes.

Marco had been throwing rocks into the shallows when some girl skipped down to disturb his solitude. He looked over, interested until he saw the Puff scarf she wore, at which time he shot her a glare before picking up another rock and turning it over in his fingers.

Alice rolled her eyes. She'd heard about the Slytherins, but since she was a Puff, she was going to be nice anyway. "Hi there." This would be awkward. Yay...

[Marco Montague]

Marco pulled his arm back and chucked the rock out into the lake. Did she really just talk to him? A Puff just made contact with him? Well, well. Time to play. He glanced over at her, lifting one eyebrow and trying to suppress a smirk. "Hey."

[Alice Prewett]

"Hello," she says as she rolls up her jeans so they wouldn't get wet in the water. "Alice Prewett, if you give a damn. Let's just say I'd be surprised if you did."

[Marco Montague]

"Sure don't," he laughed, "I suppose that means you're not as vacuous as the rest of your House. But I'll observe the formalities. Marco Montague." He lifted his chin at her and flipped his hair lazily out of his eyes before reaching for another stone to throw.

[Alice Prewett]

"And I suppose this means you're just as ungracious and frivolous as the rest of your house," she replies, tapping the water lightly with her toes.

[Marco Montague]

"Ungracious? Perhaps. I depend on no one but myself, so who would I bother being gracious to?" He laughed and chucked the stone. "Frivolous, though. Hardly. Why bother exciting myself about things of value when they are not reserved only for special occasions? I enjoy my wealth and status daily, to the point of it being normal. I wouldn't call myself frivolous by a long shot." he shook his head and looked at her before mumbling, "Maybe I was wrong. Maybe you are as vapid as the others."




[Pansy would like to apologize to all her Puff friends, as this is Marco talking and he has no brain-to-mouth filter and cares not about anyone.]

"Well, there you are. Off about things of utterly no importance, whatsoever. Wealth and status..." She sighs. "They're shallow things to be concerned with, frankly. I can tell my first judgement of you was 100% correct. And as for me," she began, growing a little feistier. "I am proud to be like my fellow Puffs. We don't lack liveliness; however, no matter what you say. We're people too- not a bug you can step on!"

[Marco Montague]

"Tell me, oh all-knowing Puff, what is the trait of your house? We've been told of the intelligence of Ravenclaw, the bravery of Gryffindor, and the power of Slytherin, but what of Hufflepuff? Didn't the hat say "Good Hufflepuff, she took the rest
and taught them all she knew"?" He stood up, smirking. "Wouldn't you agree that makes it seem as though those who are not exceptional in either brilliance, audacity, or cunning were placed into your dear House?"

[Alice Prewett]

"Well it also said this,
'You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil'." Alice looks at him proudly. "That does not signify that we are worthless, or the spares."

[Marco Montague]

"Worthless... maybe not." He stepped forward kicking a rock into the shallows. "'Unafraid of toil'? That just tells me you lot have to work your asses off up to keep up with the rest of us. Or that you're really fantastic for doing all the dirty work we can't be arsed to worry with. You know, finding things for us."

[Alice Prewett]

Alice narrows her eyes. "Oh, so do you have problems with us finders? Just because our mascot is a badger-- lame, I will admit-- but still, at least we aren't lyers liars and cheats."

[Marco Montague]

"You forgot manipulative and belligerent." He smirked as he stared out at the lake, ignoring the attempted angry face she was giving him.

Dorcas walked out onto the grounds to go on a little adventure. She waded through the tall grass before she noticed one of her closest friends, Alice, hanging around with...well, she didn't know. The colors he sported gave an important part of his identity away - Slytherin bloke. Her eyes narrowed, but she promised not to discriminate based on house. She made her way over to the pair and gingerly tapped Alice on the shoulder, "Hey there, Allie! Who's this?" She asked, quirking a brow.

[Alice Prewett]

"Right, those too." She rolls her eyes. This guy was such a prick. "How about unscrupulous and malicious? Do those adhere to your taste?" She waves and smiles at Dorcas. "Oh, this is Montague. One of the friendliest people I've met so far."
