"No no I'm fine" She pulled out the bread and went to the fridge, "ham and cheese okay?"

"I guess that makes sense Tam. I mean, I'm sure the quiet is real nice. Err, I'll take a sandwich please, if it's not any trouble," he says, "and ham and cheese sounds great."

She pulled everything out of the fridge and set about making sandwiches, "So Scorp, how've you been? How are things with Faye now?" She finished making them the sandwiches and set the plates on the table. "let me know if you want more tea"

"Thank you Tam, this looks fantastic," he says smiling. "Things are...good. I mean, getting better. There was a bit of an...well, err, incident," he says, unsure of what to call what happened. "But it seems to be all worked out now."

"Thanks Tam." He looks at her and smiles and looks back to his plate and takes a bite listening to Scorp.

"Yeah, she's fine. We're fine now. I err, I don't really feel like talking about. Not that I don't trust you guys," he says instantly. "It's just...I don't think she really wants people knowing."

"I can totally understand that. So have I missed anything else?" She finished her sandwich and propped her chin in her hands, her elbows resting on the wooden table.

"Err, nothing quite comes to mind," he says. "I mean, Regulus is back to being a fucking moody arse. He's heading down a bad path Tam," he sighs. "For some reason, it really bothers me. I just...don't want to keep losing the people I care about."

Tam got up and walked over to him to give him a big hug. He needed it. "Look, anytime you need a break or someone to talk to remember you can always come here..."

"Thanks Tam," he says hugging her back. "I really do appreciate that." He feels happy that they are able to put all their awkward moments behind them and be friends. "Was it hard settling into this place?" he asks while glancing around the cottage.

"No, surprisingly easy actually," she collected all their plates and put them in the sink then turned around to lean against the counter. "And everyone in town has been really great and welcoming."

Marcus looks over at his trunk awkwardly because he hadn't really settled in.

"That's great Tam," he says smiling. "I mean, I wish you were still at Hogwarts, but I'm pleased that you're happy right now with the way things are going. You know, I should probably head back to the castle. I don't want to be missing for too long," he says standing up from his chair.

Marcus stands up and does the little shoulder hug thing that guys do. "Thanks for coming Scorp! It was nice seeing you."

Tam walked over and hugged him again, "Well you're always welcome back anytime. Send Faye my love."

"Thanks mate, I hope things work out for you," he says to Flint. "And thank you Tam, I definitely will. Please, either of you, owl me when you can. Even just to say hello." He walks over to the door that he is assuming is shut (unlike before), then opens it and leaves the adorable cottage.

Flint sits back down after Scorp is gone and smiled at Tam. "So... How did you find this place?" He says looking around.

Tam smiled at Marcus, "Well to be honest I'm not really sure... I headed to Diagon Alley after I left and I overheard some witches talking about this quaint little village they'd heard about so I decided to check it out and I met a local witch who wanted to sell this place and now here we are" She grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet, "Shall we get you set up then?"

"Come on, I'll show you upstairs," She headed up the stairs, talking as she went, "You can have the guest room for now just so you have your own space if you need it" She nudged the door open, "here you go"
