"Merlin, put that away Black - if the wind changes you'll be stuck like that and we'll have to put a paper bag over your head so you don't frighten the children. And I can smile just fine in the mornings. After I've had my coffee," Lily says archly, and takes another long sip of the warm, bitter beverage. "What's got you in such a loud mood, anyway?" she asks, knowing full well that this is normal Sirius behaviour.

"Loud mood? I am not in a loud mood. This is my quiet mood, see, because people always yell at me to be quiet in the mornings. All such grumpy people without your coffee! Really now," he says, rolling his eyes and piling up a plate of food that would make Ron Weasley gape in awe, because you see, growing teenage boys need to appease that appetite. Eowyn's laughing so hard, because last night Rad passed out drunk in her head, and so did Sirius, like an hour later, but now Sirius is up and peppy and prancing about loudly and Rad is groaning and about to get up and bludgeon Sirius to death with the nearest heavy object, then go drink a vat of coffee so he can remain conscious. He's hard to wake up sometimes... yeah.

"Oh, my mistake. Must've been all the shouting that threw me off," Lily says lightly. She wishes she could say she's horrified at Sirius' mountain of food, but after six years of sharing meals, unfortunately she's all too used to it. She appraises the pile of food - not one scrap looking actually heathy, then reaches over to place a single, mournful strawberry on top. She drains her coffee and begins paying attention to the bowl of museli and yoghurt before her. "Well then, shut up and eat your vegetables," she quips, pointing her spoon at the strawberry.
Mya is kinda like Sirius, so she'd be pointing and laughing at Rad right about now. JS.

Eowyn varies. Eowyn is really cranky this morning so I wouldn't recommend bothering her. If Matt wasn't a douche, she'd be able to sleep until 8:30am, but instead she had to get up at 6am, and now she's stuck on campus without a place to nap, and life quite frankly sucks. Sirius, however, is currently still prancing, and opening all the blinds, curtains, and windows, and singing about a beautiful morning and ladies in bikinis. Lovely, Sirius. AWF Sirius, however, blinks and looks at Lily. "Strawberries are fruits. I thought you were SMART! Honestly," he said, glancing at the strawberry and eying suspiciously, before picking it up. "Though you know, I love strawberries. They taste great with sex and chocolate, you know," he says, picking it up and taking a small bite, and sucking on the end of it to get strawberry juice all over his lips. He continues to do this for a moment in as lewd a fashion as possible, all the while giving Lily suggestive looks, until the strawberry is gone. Grinning at Lily, he also licks his fingers off, trying not to burst out laughing. "I told you I loved strawberries. So scrumptious and juicy! Would you like to share one, eh, Evans? Or shall I save that task for Prongs?"

Lily rolls her eyes and sighs. "It's an expression, Black. It was - nevermind, I don't have all day to explain it to you, and-" she breaks off, watching in complete and utter disgust as Sirius essentially has oral sex with a strawberry right there at the breakfast table. Not that Lily herself knows anything about oral sex firsthand, but she's not a naive girl. She shakes her head and tosses a napkin in Sirius' face. "I wouldn't want to share anything with Potter anymore than I would with you!" she says hotly, then adds in a quiet mutter under her breath, "Thank Merlin not all men are like this."
Mya' won't put that in small font because Eowyn's early morning eyes might not appreciate it. *nods*

Eowyn greatly appreciates your understanding of crankiness and impatience in the early morning hours, and wonders how Sirius can be like this when clearly the world is horrible, bright place that should disappear under the shade of darkness so her and Rad can go back to bed and hide under the blankets until it's warm again, because it's fucking freezing and she still can't really feel her toes despite being indoors for an hour. Sirius pouts at Lily, puppy dog eyes and all, when she knocks him off his high horse. "Well hey now, that's no fair! You've never given me a chance, you know, because here I am, playing the good best friend, and letting James fail as miserably as I would at chasing after you. Thank Merlin there are women who aren't like you in the world, or the population would die out from all the prudes! Not that you know, you aren't still an awesome girl, and all, even if you don't put out. Which is really a pity. If it makes you feel any better, you probably owe me one, I've been trying to talk James out of bothering you for ages! It's just clearly nto worth it, in my opinion. Sure, you're a gorgeous gal, but what is the point of a gorgeous gal if all she ever wants to do is insult your brilliant pizza poetry?!"

Lily... doesn't know where to begin with this one. Mya just coughed up another lung. Hot. I think that's about 7 I've lost in the past 4 days. Awesome. Mya would send Eowyn all her blankets but that's the sort of behaviour that probably helped her get sick to begin with. *sends fuzzy boots instead* "Your brain isn't even connected to your mouth, is it?" Lily asks, truthfully a little awed by the incessant, smooth-sounding crap that flows from Sirius Black. "I am not a prude, but as far as you and Potter are concerned, I may as well be. And for the record?
I love you
as much as I also love pizza

Does not count as poetry. Merlin, he didn't even try for a haiku!" Lily says, eyes sparkling with a strange combination of indignation and amusement.
Mya apologises for the delay, she needed to go find the pizza poetry ~~and her lung~~.

[I gotta go to class soon, so I'll end this scene here, before Sirius gets himself in a world of trouble.]

"Not a prude? Who on earth would you put out for, if not for me and James?! I mean really, where are you going to find two better looking blokes, really now. AND WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT, DON'T YOU KNOW IT'S LEGENDARY GENIUS! I bet one day, they'll look back on James, and know, that this, THIS POEM RIGHT HERE, that he wrote for YOU, was a turning point in the history of poetry. I bet there will even be a new genre of poetry, solely revolving around pizza and women, and you will be long forgotten as he rises to poet fame, because you shunned him. You shall rue that day, Lily Evans! Also, what is a haiku? Is that what the Shaking Spear tribe wrote?" Oh, Sirius, you and your Shaking Spear tribe. Someday, Remus will explain that it is one dude named Shakespeare, but as long as he feels too depressed to correct you, you shall forever wander around oblivious. "BUT OH WOW LOOK AT THE TIME I WAS GOING TO GO WATCH PARVATI AND DOMINIQUE AT CHEER PRACTICE I REALLY MUST BE GOHHUNGG," he says, stuffing massive amounts of food in his mouth at that last word. He promptly devours that entire plate in a matter of thirty seconds and flails and waves goodbye to Lily, with some garbled sounds muffled by the pancake sticking out of the corner of his mouth. How attractive. "BUHH LUHHLLEE!" he yells, running off to go watch cheerleading booty.

Lily sighs a particularly huffy, angry sigh and does not even attempt to respond to Sirius, who cannot possibly fathom that there are better men in the world than himself and James. Nor is she about to give a very public listing of Men Lily Evans Might Shag. She's still tossing up between speaking to him like he's a human and just whacking him on the nose with a rolled up newspaper -oh, look, there's her copy of the Daily Prophet- when Sirius apparently notices the time and tips a day's worth of food into his mouth in under a minute. "That's disgusting, Black," Lily announces in response to his farewell. "Shaking Spear," she mutters disdainfully, then goes about trying to block the entire encounter from her memory as she returns to her breakfast.

Dom came down to the Great Hall, annoyed to see that the table was rather full. "Bullocks," she mumbled, noticing that one of the few open seats was near Lavender. Deciding to just suck it up, she walked over to the opening and sat down. "Lavender," she said shortly in greeting.

She was startled by hearing her name. She looked around and saw Dom. Definitely not the Weasley she was looking for. "Dom.." She looked a bit apprehensive, wondering if Dom was going to start something in front of all these people.

"I'm assuming you're well?" she asked, taking a roll and then spoonful of vegetables and putting them on the plate in front of her. "You look better. That bruise you had on your face...definitely went down," she said, giving just a small condescending smile.

"Oh, it was just lovely!" Dom replied with a similar smile. "I mean, not only did the guys seem to like it, but Parv definitely enjoyed it as well," she said. That was one thing that Lavender was really going to lose, Parvati. Now if only Lav would also lose Louis, the world would be a brighter place.

Dom took a bite of her roll, not bothering to hide her grin when seeing Lavender's expression. Her face soon changed though as he began choking slightly. Spitting the roll out she said, "Please....don't talk about something so disgusting. I really don't want to have such a disgusting and nauseating image stuck in my head."

She was so tempted to smack the grin of Lavender's face, but resisted. After all, there were professors up at the table and students everywhere. "Yeah, well...we'll see about that. I think I'll manage to push you away from my brother. It's only a matter of time. After all, the guy deserves more than trash like you," she said, looking at Lavender with distaste.

She was thinking along the same lines as Dom concerning the teachers up at the table. "Why can't you just accept the fact that I am in Louis' life. We really like each other. You know, we could be friends if you could get over your stupid pettiness." She rolled her eyes.

"My stupid pettiness?" she asked, looking at Lavender with surprise. "See, I hardly think it's stupid. After all, you tried to kick my arse. Forgiving you for what you did, is going to be rather difficult for me. You may have been able to fool my brother, but I can see right through this little act."
