He smiled down at their hands then waved. "See you Ginny. Have a good practice." He grinned to himself once she left. He decided to go back to the common room, where he would find Seamus and go back to being sad Dean.

Carter wandered into the Great Hall and sat down at an empty table by himself. He piled food onto his plate.

Sirius struts in, scanning the tables for Alice, and upon not seeing either her or her sister, takes a seat next to some guy he doesn't particularly remember knowing, as the rest of the Marauders are either still in bed, or writing poetry about pizza and Lily Evans. "Hey there," he said, flipping his hair as he started inhaling copious amounts of food at an inhuman pace.

Gabriel skipped to the table, sat down, and started to sip his pumpkin juice, eyeing the new-ish looking boy and the human piggy. Stupid human piggy, he thought, i hope someone butchers you and makes you into bacon.

Carter looks up from his food at the guy inhaling ample amounts of food. He watches him inhale the food for a period of time before raising an eyebrow and speaking. "Hello. I'm Carter Wells," Carter replies as he introduces himself.

Parvati walks into the great hall and walks over to the Gryffindor table. She sees Sirius and some new guy sitting at the table and she sits across from the guy she has never seen before. She smiles at him. "Hi, I'm Parvati." She says as she puts some food on her plate.

Carter looks over at Parvati. "Hello, I'm Carter." He smiles back politely before taking a bite of whatever food that has currently occupied his plate.

Parvati eats a bit and then looks up at him again. "Just wondering, are you new here? I don't think I've seen you around." She asked and gave him a small smile.

"Yes, I am new." Carter smiles and takes a sip of his pumpkin juice. "Do you know when we get mail? I'm waiting on an early christmas present from my uncle." He asks placing the goblet down on the table gently.

"That's cool." Parvati said with a smile. "Mail comes at noon when almost everyone is in the great hall for lunch." She said nodding. "So where are you from?"

"I'm from Bristol." Carter smiled taking another bite of his food.

Carter began twirling his fork boredly around on his plate. "What's there to do around here?" He asked as he began eating his food again.

Parvati looked up as he spoke and then looked around, she wasn't sure if he was talking to her or not but after nobody else spoke she just assumed. "Well, There is the lake and a lot of people hang out there and stuff, and then there is Hogsmeade..." She said nodding. "Hogsmeade is pretty fun on the weekend if you go with friends too and then, Other than that there isn't much...There is an occasional party every once and a while and those are fun."

"What's at Hogsmeade?" Carter asks setting his fork down.

Parvati dropped her fork and literally jaw dropped when he asked what a Hogsmeade was and just stared at him for a few seconds. "Umm...." She said just staring at him, in shock that he hadn't heard about it yet. "Hogsmeade, It's just this little village outside of Hogwarts that has a few little shops and pubs. It's really great to go there and get away for the weekend." She said nodding.

Carter jumped slightly when she dropped her fork. "That's sounds bloody brilliant," He finally said relaxing again. "What kind of shops do they have there? Do they have a bookstore?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do." She said and gave him a smile. "They also have a joke shop, and a candy shop, a pet shop." She said nodding. "Lots! You should go sometime! If you can't find anyone to go with you, I'll go with you sometime if you want." She said with a small shrug.

Carter nodded and took another bite of his food. "I've got to go, but I'll talk to you later, okay?"

Lavender is here sitting alone. She hates sitting by herself and she's looking around frantically for someone to talk to. She looks over to the Ravenclaw table, but doesn't see Louis anywhere. She sighs and hopes one of her friends comes along soon.
