Dom gave her an 'as-if' expression. "Right, you keep saying that and maybe you'll do more than convincing yourself he does. You know what, it's fine. You want to keep at his side like a good little puppy, I'll just laugh in your face when it all gets fucked up," she said, popping a piece of the roll into her mouth.

She looked confused. "So what you're telling me, is that your brother is just playing me? Yeah, like I'd believe that." She laughed and started serving herself some food that I don't really feel like listing.

"Fine...whatever," Dom said with a bored expression, picking up her fork and eating some yummy vegetables. "I didn't expect it to sink into that minuscule brain of yours. Though, I am rather surprised that you've managed to keep up this far."

Dom stared at her for a moment then put her fork down. "I feel...I feel so sorry for you," she said, looking at Lavender with much pity. "I thought it was rather obvious, but apparently not," she sighed dramatically. "My brother...why is it that he's never had a girlfriend? Well...as I said, it's rather obvious. He's gay. He's been trying to get over his ex-lover Logan who graduated last year. It was rather hard on him, as I'm sure you can imagine. I guess he's trying to convince everyone that he's back to liking girls. Apparently he's playing the part rather well. No worries though, he won't attempt to have awkward sex with you. After all, he only likes it up the arse."

She stared, not believing a word of it. "Really. You expect me to believe that. You're insane. Oh, and you'll be the first one I tell when we fuck." She usually doesn't refer to sex like that, but she was angry that someone would make up a lie like that about their own brother. She gave Dom a little wink.

"Well...if you don't want to believe me, then fine. I tried being honest with you for the first time ever and you completely blow off what I've said. Whatever. If you guys do go about and do the dirty deed like Parv and I have," she added, deciding to throw Lav off even more, "Don't come complaining to me about how your arse is sore and he moaned Logan's name. I don't want to hear your cries."

"Of course he's going to deny it," she snorted. "Do you really think he's crazy about the whole Logan situation? Hell, he's going to be pissed that I told you, but hey...I figured you deserve the truth. About time, right? You know, actually...why should I even bother? Obviously you're not going to believe me...which is totally fine. I'm sure he's got you under the stupid charm that he's inherited from our mum. Have fun," she said, giving Lav another slightly cruel smile.

There was no way she was going to believe a word Dom said. It was a bit hard, because there wasn't any hint in Dom's eyes showing she was lying. "Whatever Dom. Maybe he is or isn't what you say his is, but he is with me now. The way he kisses me makes me know that you are lying. A gay guy wouldn't kiss a girl like that. Trust me, I've been gossiping about people for years, I know how to read people pretty well."

"Right," Dom said shortly, looking at Lavender. "You may have been a self-centered bitch and have been gossiping for so long, so it kind of surprises me that you haven't heard about Louis. Whatever," she said with a small shrug. "I tried to warn you." Standing up from the bench, she gave the girl a careful look. "Oh, you've got something in your hair." She then grabbed her glass of water, leaned over the table, and dumped the whole thing on Lav's head. "There you go, all better! See you around!" She said, quickly leaving the Great Hall before a Professor, Lav, or even Louis could stop her.

She reached her hands up to feel if she did indeed have anything in her hair when she was drenched with water. She jumped up and screamed loudly. She wiped her eyes, causing her makeup to smear all over her face. She looked around for Dom, ready to scream at her. She spotted her retreating figure, and also one of the Professor's coming towards her. She gave another frustrated yell then stomped from the Great Hall, planning her revenge on the stupid blonde bitch.

Lily is sitting at the table, sipping at her coffee and quietly fuming still over her run-in with Potter the day before while she waits for the owl post to come, bearing her copy of the Daily Prophet. It's more lies than truth, but Lily likes to keep up with the current misrepresentation of events.

Gideon comes wandering in - he's hungry as usual. Stupid teenage boy-ness. He spots Lily at the Gryff table and smiles, walking up to where she was sitting and sliding into a spot next to her. "Hey," he greets, thinking hard for a minute. A thick bacon sandwich appears in front of him, and he picks it up. "How's it going?" He asks before taking a large bite.

Lily puts her coffee down and smiles at Gideon, her day instantly looking better than the one before. "Hey. Fantastic," she says, only a hint of irony in her voice. She watches with vague amusement as Gideon takes a huge bite of his giant bacon sandwich, thankful at least that his manners are better than most boys - she hasn't seen anything he's eaten again yet. "How're you?" she asks, and takes a mouthful of cereal.

Gideon grins through his mouthful. Luckily, he manages to do so without showing off his food, which is always good. "You know what, I love a bit of sarcasm in the morning, you know." He says cheekily. "I'm pretty good, actually. I saw my brother for the first time in a while, which was nice. Not much else..." He takes a few more bites, and he has already eaten half his sandwich, so he thinks hard again, and a stack of pancakes appears, complete with lashings of maple syrup. Yes, Gideon is hungry.

Mya wants some pancakes now. Lily's eyebrows rise slightly as a stack of pancakes appears as a chaser to Gideon's bacon sandwich. "Where do you put it all!?" she bursts out before she can stop herself, then tucks her hair behind her ear and has another sip of coffee, his crack about her sarcasm forgotten for the time being, even though Inner!Jack and Inner!Molly are amusing themselves with all sorts of cheeky comments about it being a good thing for Lily that Gideon enjoys her sarcasm in the morning. "How's your brother, then?" she says, returning to a normal level of conversation after her little outburst.

AJ just wants a bacon sandwich now. It's been ages since I had bacon... Anyway, Gideon grins. "Well, inside this perfectly well, sculpted chest and stomach, of course. Where do you put you food?" He asked. He slides the plate a little towards her. "Would you like some? I think there's enough for both of us..." He smirks. Gideon would also appreciate it if Inner!Jack and Inner!Molly would kindly shut up, even though he is kind of having the same thoughts. "He's pretty good. Not as awesome as when I'm around, but you know how it is."
