Pansy wrapped her arms around him in return. "Well, you're welcome for being your single shag-proof friend." She let go and looked at him. "Though, I'm not sure what that honestly says about me. Nevermind. I can't sit here with this food anymore. I'm headed back to the common room if you want to come? Or unless you don't want to be left here eating alone. You'll look like a sad Puff who eats his feelings the way you're stuffing your face, you know. I'll stay if you'd like." She shrugged and stopped rambling, poking at a bowl of jello with her finger, watching it wiggle around.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"It says nothing about you," he replied with a shrug. "You've got morals. Quite refreshing compared to some of the bimbos around here." He glanced around at the table, noticing that it was rather empty now. His eyes momentarily locked with that dark-haired bird from last year and he gave her a smoldering look. "You go on," he said quietly to Pansy, his eyes not leaving the girls. "I'll catch up with you later, yeah?" he questioned, pulling his gaze away momentarily to see if Pansy was fine with that.

Pansy smiled at him, glad that it said something good about her rather than her being unappealing or anything like that. Pansy watched as he was distracted by the girl down the table again. She laughed, patting him on the knee. "Not even your stated twelve hours this time, I see." She stood up, grabbing a mini cupcake for later. "Yeah. Talk to you later, Scorp." She headed out of the Great Hall to hurry to her dormitory to get out of that horrible dress.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"Yeah...well," he said slightly distracted, "why bother staying away from something which is clearly going to be good? See you later Pans," he said, giving her a smile before she ran off. His eyes locked with the pretty dark-haired girls once more. What was her name? Maria? Megan? Melanie? Oh well. No use fretting over it. He stood up, cocked his head slightly towards the doors , then walked out to the hallway where he knew she would be following him.

Draco walked in with Pansy and made a beeline for the seat nearest the bacon. Mmmm... bacon...

Pansy rolled her eyes as he pounced on the bacon like he had been starved for the past three days. She sat beside him and grabbed a muffin, picking at it with an appetite rather like a bird.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco looked over at her, "Pansy, you need to eat more than that. I mean you didn't get any potatoes yesterday now did you" He smirked and helped himself to waffles.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"Hm, well I might have if you hadn't taken them all and if Blaise hadn't practically eaten mine out of my mouth." She laughed at him and scooped some cooked apples onto her plate, poking at them a bit with her fork before she ate one.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco continued to smirk as he chowed down on everything within reach. "You'll just have to be quicker and sneaker next time won't you?" Draco stopped his fork halfway to his mouth and put it down again, "Pansy. There is no next time... can you believe that was our last first day of school ever?"

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy blinked slowly, it finally hitting her. "Wow. This year could be our last breakfasts together." She stopped chasing her apples across her plate with her fork, putting it down instead as she looked at him. "Weird, isn't it? Where has the time gone?" And what if after school, we go our separate ways and I don't see you again? She knew she had to tell him soon. This year was her last chance, and he was so damn close. She almost had him. Almost.

[Draco Malfoy]

"I have no idea," Draco grabbed some fruit as he spoke, "I still remember our sorting... I was thinking Slytherin as loudly as I could in the hopes that that filthy hat wouldn't have to touch me..." He chuckled at the memory.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"Well, it barely did, so I guess you got what you wanted. As usual." She smirked at him, plucking off another piece of her muffin to eat. "Granger was trying to explain to me about the ceiling at the sorting. Silly Mudblood thought I was as clueless as a Puff, trying to show off the fact that she had no friends and read her textbooks instead."

[Draco Malfoy]

"Dear I always get what I want. Always." He shot her a look and went back to finding more delicious treats, "Stupid mudblood. They're so dense."

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"I know you do." Her stomach did a flippy floppy thing when he called her dear. She glanced down at her plate, cursing her shyness with Draco. They'd been so close for so long, why couldn't she just tell him how she felt? Just tell him she was completely in love with him and had been since fourth year, that she never wants to be far from him and that she wanted to still be with him every day after school and for the rest of her life. It was all a bit overwhelming to feel that and not say it, but she couldn't possibly imagine telling him. The very idea was terrifying. She didn't realize she had sort of zoned out, imagining how horribly that revelation could possibly go if she were to tell him without planning it out better, all while staring down her apples.

Draco was prattling on about mudbloods and the wastefulness of them when he noticed she wasn't paying him an ounce of attention. Prodding her in the side he asked, "Pans? Still here? Sickle for your thoughts." He looked down at her apples too, was something wrong with them? What made them so fascinating?

Pansy made a sharp intake of breath as he poked her, wriggling a bit to the side. Apparently her ribs are a little bit ticklish. "Oh. Sorry. Just distracted... nothing important." She shook her head and gave him a little smile. "What were you saying?"

[Draco Malfoy]

"Just about the mudbloods." He grabbed some toast and slid it onto her plate, "Don't think I haven't noticed that you've barely touched anything. I can't have you wasting away now can I?" He was entirely oblivious to the importance of her train of thought and most other important things to do with feelings. He is a boy after all.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy sighed and took a few bites to appease him. After all, she'd do anything for Draco. "I suppose not. You'd be pretty lost without me, you know." She reached over to his plate, deciding that his piece of sausage looked more appealing than the ones in the big bowl at the center of the table. Not that sausage, for those of you with gutter minds, the normal sausage that is okay to eat at the breakfast table. She bit off half of it before he could react.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco looked down just in time to see the piece of breakfast sausage vanish from his plate. Following it he saw Pansy take a bite. Now that's not cool. You can't just steal a piece of a boys sausage without asking! He leaned over and ate it from her hand. "That was mine you know. And I would be dreadfully lost without you. What will I do when you go off on your extravaganza world adventure?"

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy let him have the other half of it, as it was his in the first place anyway. She wiped the grease on her fingers off on his pants, laughing. "Well, you're not exactly adventure material. I don't know that I could be persuaded to bring you along, so you could always just sit at home and cry, I suppose. Maybe Astoria will come comfort you with her bosom." Pansy didn't know how right she sort of was about the Astoria thing. Sigh.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco nearly choked on his sausage, "Ewwwwww not the pants! Pansy!" At the Astoria comment he cracked up, "Bosom? Really Pans? Really? They're boobs, breasts, tits... not bosoms..." He shook his head. Scorp was obviously not doing his job at making her say dirty words very well. FAIL SCORP. FAIL. Picking up some bacon he offered it to her with a smirk. "Would you like some of this too? Or does it not taste as good when it's not stolen?"

[Blaise Zabini]

"Did I hear talk of Bosom?" Blaise said as he sauntered over ruining the Panco moment, as he was known to do.

[It's not Pansy's fault that she likes Draco's sausage better. It's nicer, bigger, and juicier than all the other sausages and I'm going to go now...]
