Luna smiled as she listened to Dean talk about his brother, partially wishing that she had an older sibling to look up to. "Oh. I don't spend much time in the library these days," she commented, knowing that it was mostly because she couldn't face running into Hermione again. "But I'd like to meet him. He seems...really special...and nice. I think I'd like him."

Dean nodded. "Well, I'll tell him and we'll set something up! It'll be great. He's a really good baker too. Maybe I can have him make us a pie. His pies are the best! And he's obsessed with chocolate. CHOCOLATE PIE." He shouted it suddenly then chuckled. "Sorry, my brain just sort of took over my mouth there for a moment."

Luna giggled and leaned against Dean. "Well, I can't wait to meet him and try his chocolate pie," she laughed, wondering if all boys were always obsessed with food.

That answer is yes. Yes they are. Dean put an arm around Luna's shoulders and rested his head on hers again. "As much as I hate to say this, I need to get going. I have an assignment I need to turn in. I was bad and skipped class the other day. But, can we have a fake study date soon?" As much as he wanted to stay, he must leave because it's getting late and I should go to bed soonish and I feel bad pausing for another night.

[Oops. <.< I would have posted if the forum wasn't evil and went down for the night. *kicks it*]

Luna looked up at Dean, smiling at the idea of having another study date with him. "I'd like that," she answered as she stood up, pulling Dean up along with her with a big smile. "And the weather is a lot nicer now so we could go back to having them out by the lake, just like we used to in the beginning of the year."

Dean stood and wrapped her in a big hug, then placed a small kiss on her forehead. He wasn't going to rush her into anything she wasn't ready for. For now, he was just happy they could be friends again. "I'll see you really soon, okay? And outside sounds fantastic. I spend most my free time out there anyways." He didn't want to pull out of the hug. "Okay. Leaving now..." He took a step back and smiled. "Thanks Luna. I really missed you. I'll talk to you later." And with that he smiled and turned around to walk away, turning around after a few steps and giving a little wave.

"I missed you too." Luna smiled shyly at the kiss, then laughed as he continued to hug her for longer than necessary. "Alright, Dean," she giggled. "I'll see you soon." She smiled happily as she returned her wave, giggling at how much he was taking his time as she waited for him to be out of sight, before she left the great hall herself.
