Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Remus isn't really the type to say 'Yay' either...so he just thinks it. Well, even then he doesn't really think it either. Hehe. He smiles and nods, leading the way to kitchens. He understands that Viktor probably wouldn't know the way yet since he's still kind of new here.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis is here waiting for Lavender for their study date. His books were on a table and he was pacing back and forth, running his hand through his hair nervously. He mumbled incoherently to himself, trying to figure out what to say to Lavender.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Lavender comes bouncing in. She looks around the library and doesn't see Louis right away. Finally she spots him behind a bookshelf, pacing? She walked up to him, beaming, "Hey Louis! You okay? You look a little...on edge." She set her bag down and smiled at him again.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis jumped a little hearing her voice. he had been so lost in thought he hadn't heard her approaching. "Oh! Lavender! Hi!" He stopped pacing and gave her a shaky smile "Just have some things on my mind. Ready to study?" he said quite quickly and sat down, pulling out a Charms book. you idiot! how the hell are you supposed to last through a study session without saying anything? Just spit it out!

She smiled at him. "Ready!" She pulled out her charms book and sat down next to him. Yep next to him, not across. "How was your day today?" As she spoke she grabbed out a quill and some parchement.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis was hyper aware of the fact that she had chosen to sit right next to him. Their bodies were only about five inches apart. He took in a shaky breath and closed his eyes, trying to concentrate "My day was alright. It's a lot better now" He gave her a small smile. "How was yours?"

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Exactly the same. Much better now." She giggled. "So, what's on the agenda for today?" She really had no interest whatsoever to actually study, but if that's what he wanted to do, she would comply.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis smiled and looked back at his book "I think we're due for practicing a fun charm today" Louis of course, had already pretty much mastered it, but he had just had a stroke of genius. He cleared his throat and took one of her hands in his, looking down at his feet. "Before we uhh...start Lavender. I um, just wanted to ask you something..." He bit his lip before continuing on and before he could lose his nerve "I like you Lavender, a lot...and I hope you feel the same way. I know we just met and all, but you're an amazing person and I would love to get to know you even more." His hands were a little shaky on hers but he had to keep going "What I guess I'm trying to ask is, would you go out with me?" He finally looked up at her, eyes hopeful, a little cautious

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
She blushed deep red when he grabs her hand. Unlike him, she stares right at him. She smiled widely as he admitted to liking her. She too bit her lip when she figured what was coming. Finally he asked her out, and something strange happened. Lavender was sort of stunned into silence, for the first time in her life. She continued to stare right into his eyes. Finally, after about almost two minutes, she spoke. "Louis, I really like you too. I mean, I have been pretty much talking about you non stop since we've met." For some reason Seamus popped into her head at this moment. She grabbed his other hand, so that she was holding both. "I really, really want to say yes right now but I feel like we should get to know each other a little bit better first. It's just...I rushed into my last relationship without really knowing him, and it didn't end well. I just...don't want to rush things. I'm sorry." She made it through a whole monolouge without once giggling, impressive..
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis stared at her, trying to wrap his mind around what she had just said. He blinked and slowly pulled back from her. "I...I guess that's fair." He mumbled Orchideous under his breath and held out the beautiful boquet of flowers "I guess this is usless now." He stared down at the floor before resolving something. He looked back up at her and took hold of her hand again "You have to know I would never hurt you like my idiot cousin. I actually WANT to be with you, to get to know you. I'll take it slow if you want, but I want to be with you. That won't change"

She smiles widely at the flowers. "They're beautiful." She intertwined her fingers in his and smiled sweetly. She teared up a little because he was so sweet, and genuine. "I do want to be with you. I really do, it's just..hard for me. That was a really horrible relationship to start off with, it set a bad example for relationships for me." She looked down for a moment, then back up at him. "Louis, you are so sweet. You're making it very difficult for me right now." She gave a weak sort of laugh.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis nodded "I completely understand. I don't want to push you, I just want you to know that I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." He smiled a little and wiped the wetness from her eyes. "I don't want to make this hard on you, that's the last thing I want. But I'm laying all the cards on the table, I'm letting you know exactly where I stand."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
She smiled a little when he wiped a tear away. "I really appreciate your honesty. That's hard to find these days. Let's just, go on some dates. Get to know each other better. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't mind spending all my free time with you." She blushed
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
He chuckled a little, feeling a little bit better about things "I think that's alright with me. Want to sit at the Ravenclaw table for dinner tonight? And I am perfectly capable of taking you on dates" He smiled shyly

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"I'd love to! I actually met another Ravenclaw the other day." Her bubbliness was starting to come out after that rare moment of seriousness. "It'd be cool to sit at a different table. And I can't wait for these dates." She smiled at him and looked at their still entwined hands making her smiled even more.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis grinned "Great!" He also looked down at their entwined hands and smiled, giving her hand a little squeeze. "I'll have to start planning then won't I?" he checked the time "Oh wow! It looks like it's already time for dinner! And we didn't get any studying done!" he laughed a little

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
She giggled. "That's okay, I didn't really want to study anyways. Should we head down?" She was glad that time wasn't up yet, they still had dinner to talk. She grudgingly removed her hand from his and started packing up her things.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis nodded "Alright, let's get going" He smiled at her and watched her as he packed up his own things. "I'm getting hungry anyway"

"Me too! Okay, I think I've got everything. Let's go." She smiled and held out her hand, inviting him to take hold of it again.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Louis grinned happily and walked around the table to grab her hand. "Away we go!" he laughed, leading her out of the library

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Dominique is in the library doing homework and just trying to study in general. OWL year really sucks...and it's only just starting. Fun stuff. Why oh why did I agree to being a fifth year? Anyway....Dominique is very focused on her homework like a good little girl.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Lysander looked around the curious place. There was ALOT of books here, all stored in book shelves. How on earth had he got here? Maybe it was the come and go room! But then why the books. Lysander was planning to ponder this when he spotted a set of legs and blonde hair that was instantly recognisable. That was Dom, and boy was she a hottie! He snuck up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist kissing her neck, "Hello Miss Weasley, I'd recognise those legs a mile away..." He chuckled.

Dom stiffened when she suddenly felt lips on her neck and an arm around her waist. She looked up from her book instantly, turning to glare at whoever it was. Her expression fell into one of understanding when she saw Lysander. "Why...am I not surprised that it's you," she said rolling her eyes. "You know, you shouldn't sneak up on a girl like that. You're lucky I didn't have some sort of pepper spray or even some sort of weapon on me."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Lysander grinned at her, let go and turned her to face him. "Well you know, family friends get special priviliges right?" He poked her side jokingly. "And you know full well that even if you did have a weapon, I would beat you down... in the nicest way possible baby..." He would not fight a girl... unless it was the in bed naked wrestling fighting. Boy he loved that fighting, it always ended well. "I've missed you gorgeous. You were hardly wround this summer"

"Really, well I'll have to remember that then," she said rolling her eyes. She was used to Lysander's antics, his constant flirting and touchy-feely moments. Still, she couldn't help but smile. "I suppose I missed you too," she replied teasingly. "I couldn't help it that my parents decided to spend most of the summer in France with my grandparents. Though, why weren't you at the end of summer picnic at my Grandparent's house? Your family usually does come."
