And when the posts get down to one liners, it's time to end the conversation. Lucius sighs and stands up straight again, no longer leaning against the bookshelf. "Sorry about that. But you're a Ravenclaw. Shouldn't be too hard," he said with a grin. "I should probably stop distracting though. I'll see you around later though. Nice meeting you Melanie," he said, smiling once more before leaving the library.

Caradoc sits down at a table behind a bookshelf, and pulls out his notebook to begin that awful Charms essay for Professor Flitwick, by which I mean, he sits staring blankly at the paper and chewing on the back of his pen.

Remus is just browsing, smiling to himself cause he can't stop thinking about the awesome date he had with Jack. He walks around a bookshelf and spots Rad, who looks like he's trying to work on an essay and not getting very far. "Hey, Rad. Can I sit?" he sits down across from Rad. "Having trouble getting started?"

Eowyn knows she has too many Jensen Ackles GIFs when they take up four pages in her tinypic account... oh well. There are probably more that I don't have yet but shall acquire if tumblr ever decides to load.

"Remus! Of course you can," he said, gesturing to the chair opposite him for Remus to join. "Yeah, yeah, but I'm not exactly keen on writing this anyway. You're a very welcome distraction, actually. So what's got you looking about as happy as I've been all week? Wait, don't tell me, I know that look-- what's his name, and why haven't I heard about this yet?"

"Why? What's it on?" Remus asks curiously. He was always willing to help someone when it came to academics...unless it involved potions. Then they were on their own - not that that meant he wouldn't at least try to help. He blushes when Rad asks what's got him so happy. "Well, the reason you haven't heard about it yet is because we haven't seen each other in ages. I've missed you by the way." he smiles. "His name's Jack. Molly introduced us. We've hung out a few times and went on a date this past weekend and now we're together. He's a really great guy. So what's had you feeling so happy this whole week?"

"That's awesome, Remus!" he said, high fiving him and grinning, 'cause Remus is really cute when he's happy and smiley. "Ugh, just something mundane for Charms-- if it were interesting or difficult, I might be motivated to do it, but it's just dull work for me to bullshit later. And I've missed you too, so you know," he replied. "And I've been the happiest I have ever been, which is saying something, because I'm just generally happy-- I've got a boyfriend, and his name is Fabian, and he's beautiful and awesome and I will not ramble about him because I'm turning into one of those really annoying idiots who just blathers on about their significant other until everyone just wants to slap him for being so goddamn annoyingly lovesick."

I'm so happy for you, Rad! And don't worry about rambling, I'm used to hearing it so I wouldn't be annoyed. Plus you'd be rambling about someone who makes you happy, and I can really tell cause your face just lit up super brightly by just mentioning him."

BUT THAT IS SO CUTE! IT IS ALMOST AS CUTE AS AMETHYST! That is how cute it is. Yup. Caradoc greams right back, and if he were actually a panther, he would be purring, and his ears would be all perky. "I've never felt so happy in my life, ever, and I don't think I ever would, if I didn't have him. It's been like, three days, and I still feel like I'm flying," he said giddily, remotely disgusted by his own ebullience.

I HAVE RETURNED AND IT IS AWESOME....UM...WELL, NOW I HAVE TO LEAVE FOR WORK ANYWAY, BUT STILL..
SORRY I WASN'T ON YESTERDAY.

Er...this last post kind of bummed my poor Remus out a bit, cause you know he's always thinking so when Rad mentioned about being super happy and all, he felt bummed cause he knows he's happy with Jack but he's pretty sure that super happy sort of feeling Rad is talking about he'd only be able to really really get with Sirius who he still likes a lot. Wow, that was a long sentence, and I'm half asleep so I'm not even sure it made any sense. "That's amazing! You'll have to introduce us, I'd love to meet him."

And now Remus is not going to sit and zone out for a moment thinking about his awesome boyfriend...okay, maybe a little. Inner!Remus is not very happy at all right now because we read the Couches thread and he doesn't like it that Sirius only thinks of him as a brother...well, he's flattered and all, and he's telling himself it's for the best, but he still doesn't like it. I'm going to go knock him out now.

Awww. Sirius is just... in the Nile, swimming happily for now. Caradoc smiles at Remus and nods. "That'd be wonderful. So, other than our apparently awesome love lives, how're you doing? How's life-- actually, how's Sirius? Have you told him about your hunky man yet?" he asked curiously, brushing his hair back as he began to doodle on the parchment.

"Oh...er, yeah. I told him. I guess he handled it pretty well. Said he doesn't want to know any details really but that he'd pretty much maim Jack if he did anything to hurt me." Remus shrugged. "I guess that's the best I can hope for - it's better than him acting all grossed out about it constantly. I can tell it all still bugs him, but he's trying to be good about it and I appreciate that... I finally told James about being gay, but I still have to tell Peter. It feels a lot better to have them know, I think.." Sort of.

"Well, honestly, the fact that he's trying so hard does make me like him a lot more," he said with an encouraging smile, as he reached out to pat Remus on the shoulder comfortingly. "And I think we can all agree that he definitely cares about you plenty. Also, it should be known that in the event Sirius is unable to maim Jack for hurting you, I will totally carry that out for him, but I feel like as your best friend he should probably get first dibs," he added grinning. "And how did James take it? Well, I'm guessing, you don't seem quite so distressed-- it's good that you've got these friends, you know, even if they don't take it well at first. Just keep in mind that purebloods like Sirius, they're kind of raised to be prejudiced, and the only thing that matters, even if it does bug him, is that he's trying his hardest to change for you. That's love, that is."

Then he shook his head, blinking, the blank look gone from his eyes, and looked back over at Rad. "Hm, well, James really didn't know what to say at first, but we got past it so it's all fine with me. I'm sure Pete will handle it fairly well."

The doors of the library are slammed open with a resounding crash as the doors rebound off the walls, and Sirius struts in, taking a large bite out of a half eaten chocolate bar, his chained red plaid pants clattering as he cranes his neck and looks around confusedly, until he spots the back of Remus' head. A wide grin spreads across his face as he bounds over, apparently oblivious to Caradoc, and slings his arms around Remus' neck from behind, licking the chocolate off his lips as he does so. "HELLO, MOONY, THERE YOU ARE! Thought I'd find you here," he said happily, hugging him and letting go, then looking up and finally noticing Rad. "You!" he said in an incredulous voice, his grin quickly fading.
