Parvati smiled at him and nodded. "Yeah, one of us will owl each other." She said nodding. "We'll figure it out." She said giving him a small wave when he walked off. "Bye Al! I had fun too!" she said and then she studied a bit and then she left.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Jesse walked in and started looking through the books, trying to find a few on advanced charms. He had noticed that some of the other students were pretty good, and he wanted to make sure he was better. Not that he wasn't already, but...you can never be too sure.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Milli pranced into the library humming to herself. She started searching through the charms section so she could do a little research for her paper. All of a sudden, a book fell at her feet and she picked it up curiously and happened to see one fine boy on the other side of the shelf. "Hi!" she said perkily. "I think you dropped something."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Jesse glanced through the space in between the books on the shelves, only to see a pretty girl smiling at him. "Oh, thanks," he said with a grin as he reached his hand through the gap to take the book from her. He had never seen her before, which he didn't like because he was the type of guy who liked knowing things. "I'm Jesse," he introduced, resting his hands on top of the wooden shelf between them as he continued looking at her through the small space. "Jesse St. James."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Hi Jesse. I'm Milli," she introduced. "Milli Vane." Their fingers brushed as he took the book back and her skin tingled lightly where they met. Confused slightly at the sensation, Milli gestured at the book. "Advanced charms? Are you on NEWT level? Why don't I know you?" This was odd. Milli usually knew everyone around, being friends with Lav and Parv.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"No, I'm only a 6th year but I'm at a NEWT level, mentally. I'm advanced for my age when it comes to magic," he told her very seriously. "Why don't you know me? That's a good question. Most people do. But you know me now, don't you? And I know you. So it looks like we've taken care of that problem." He smiled at her for a moment, staying quiet before he took a step back and walked around the bookcase so he could be on the same side as he. He rested one arm on the edge of the shelf as he looked over at Milli. "So, what are you doing in the library all alone at this hour?"

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"It's just strange," Milli shrugged. "I thought I knew everyone." She blinked surprise as Jesse suddenly left. Was she really that boring? But then he was standing in front of her and she smiled up at him. "Well you see I'm a cheerleader. Can't be wondering around the library and have people think I'm smart," she joked. "So I visit in the dead of night." She tried holding a poker face but ended up giggling and shrugged again. "I kid. I dunno why I'm here alone at night, but I could ask the same of you."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Jesse brought his arm down the shelf, instead crossing both arms in front of his chest as he leaned his shoulder against the wood. "As much as people might think it, I don't wake up incredibly smart. I have to work at it," he said in reply to what was almost a question. "I have goals, and I know they're not just going to happen if I wish upon a shooting star, so I spend all my time practicing and working hard." He couldn't help but let his eyes quickly give Milli the once over as she mentioned she was a cheerleader, though it was somewhat difficult to admire her athletic body in the dim lighting. "A smart cheerleader? Now I'm impressed," he teased with a cheeky grin.

Milli dorkishly struck a pose as he admitted to being impressed. "That's me! Defying stereotypes since birth. But I try." She relaxed as his eyes raked over her body, though she didn't notice. She was sorta oblivious in that sense. "But you have surprised me as well. A boy with ambition? A boy with dreams, goals? The mere thought is shocking."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Jesse actually laughed as she posed for him. Normally he was a pretty serious guy, but Milli just had something about her that he found endearing. He merely smiled, somewhat smugly, at her observation. “Well, I'm the type of person who knows what I want and I don’t like when I don’t get what I want. I can't stand it when people don't live up to their potential, and I'd hate to see myself become one of those people."

"Well, like I said, it's refreshing," Milli said, enjoying the way his entire face changed when he laughed. "So what exactly do you want so badly?" she wondered. "You mentioned having goals. What exactly would those goals be?"

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"I have quote a few goals, actually," he admitted as he stood up straight, keeping his arms folded across his chest as he looked at her. "The thing is, there's this one goal-- It's recent. But the problem is that I can't seem to find any books on it."

Milli pouted. "That's too bad. Anything I may be able to help with?" she asked, trying not to sound too hopeful. It would have been swell if she got a chance to spend a little more time with him. He intrigued her.

"Well, you see, there's this girl I want to ask out on a date," he said, keeping his tone light and casual as he looked down at the charms book in his hand. "But of course, Hogwarts doesn't have books on girls or dating, and I'd hate to get rejected."

Rachel raised her eyebrows. "Why would you have to worry about rejection? I don't see why anyone would turn you down." She crossed her arms over her chest as well and took a small step closer to him. Looking up, she continued, "Just out of curiosity, who might this mystery girl be?"

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Jesse smiled triumphantly at her reaction. Clearly, she was interested. That, or she was just leading him on, but since when did girls do that to Jesse St. James? "That's true, though you never know these days. Some girls can be...intimidated by me. I can be a bit intense at times." He ignored her question at first, giving her some time to possibly wonder if he was talking about another girl. Jealously usually worked wonders in the dating world. "One Milli Vane. You know her?"

Milli smirked. So they were playing that game. Milli decided to go along for the time being, knowing that eventually it would come to an end. "I certainly do know her. We're very close as a matter of fact. I can talk to her for you, though if I know her as well as I think I do I can guarantee she'll be interested."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Jesse smirked, his head turning slightly as he took in Mille's fun nature. She wasn't like other girls. There was something different about her compared to the other girls. "Oh?" He leaned in and brought his fingers up to rest under Milli's chin, her skin soft and smooth under his fingertips. "Well, if you see her then you can tell her to meet me in the Entrance Hall tomorrow night, alright?" he asked softly, his lips only inches away from hers as he kept his eyes locked with Mill's.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Milli's breath caught as his fingers were suddenly at her face and his mouth just a few centimeters from hers. She took a quick second to keep her composure, and continued smiling while she promised, "Will do." After a pause, she said, "I'll see you around Jesse." She turned on her heel and made her way to the exit. Before leaving, she turned back towards him and offered a cocky wink and a cheeky smile. And then she was gone.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
As Milli turned back to wink at him, Jesse quickly closed his mouth, seeing as his jaw had dropped when she walked away from him. He certainly wasn't used to girls doing that. He was pretty certain that he would be seeing Milli again tomorrow night, and the thought excited him. He grabbed the Charms book, along with a few other books on magic, and left the library with them to go down to his dorm where he could read in peace. That is, if thoughts of Milli weren't too distracting for him to get any work done.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[Okies ^^ I'll be here all day. XD]
Kras doesn't think he's all that perfect though, himself. "Aww, I can't imagine how lonely that must have been." he flailed sadly. "Vell, ve're going to be good friends, okay? And even if you, for some terrible reason, have to leave I promise I'll write you vonce a veek...or more if you'd like." he grinned. "And yes, ve should hang out. I'd have no problem vatching you paint actually. So you could get your vork done and ve could spend time together. It sounds perfect to me." he smiled in agreement to himself. "I vouldn't vant you to get in trouble." They reach the library and Kras takes Reed's hand again and leads him into the library, showing him around the huge stacks of books. "Isn't this the most awesome library ever? I bet there's other huge libraries out there, but this von is amazing. Durmstrang's is huge but even that von is smaller than this."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Reed couldn't help the ear to ear smile that spread across his face when Kras said they would be good friends. He unexpectedly wrapped his arms around Kras' waist once the tall boy had led him into the library. Reed felt tiny considering his head barely came up to Kras' chest, but he wasn't too concerned about that. "Thank you for saying that Kras! And you can watch me paint anytime, although I wouldn't be the best company since I sort of zone out a little." Then Reed finally looked around at the immense library as he let go of Kras. His eyes widened and he mentally tabulated all the things he could injure himself on. "Wow, this place is gargantuan! How do you possibly find anything in here?"
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Kras blinks in delighted surprise when Reed unexpectedly wrapped his arms around his waist. The younger boy's head barely came up to his chest, but Kras didn't really mind. "You're velcome." he smiled happily. And he really didn't mind watching Reed paint, even if he did zone out, because Kras just wanted to watch the curly haired boy all day anyway. He watched Reed's eyes widen as he looked around the gigantic library. "It is huge, isn't? I alvays ask Madam Pince, the librarian, for help if I need to find anything. Othervise I just browse myself. You know..I think there might even be a section on vizard and vitch artists." He tapped his chin thoughtfully and then turned in another direction, taking Reed's hand again and leading him over to another section of books. "Here they are. I knew I'd seem them at some point."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Reed bumped into a few chairs as Kras led him somewhere else. "Oooooh!" He reached out eagerly to grab a book and immediately flipped it open, giving himself a massive paper cut. He hardly noticed, even when he started bleeding slightly, as the colors on the page came alive, quite literally. He watched in amazement as the colors swirled around each other, blending in ways he didn't think was possible. His voice sounded distant as he continued to watch the swirls. "This is the best use of conceptual perception and expressionism I have ever seen." He continued to stare in amazement.
[Okay, bare with me with the art terms because I know nothing about art so I'm kind of making things up a little. And now, naptime! I should be back in like an hour or so <3]

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[It's okies! *is very unfamiliar with art terms as well* Sleep well!!!! <3]
Kras kind of just stares at Reed as the younger man seemingly gets lost in the art book. It really wasn't fair that one guy could be so adorable. And he really wanted to hug Reed again. Finally managing to tear his eyes away, he notices the cut on Reed's hand that's starting to bleed slightly. "Oh dear..." He pushes Reed gently down into a chair so he can rest the book in his lap while Kras takes his injured hand. Pulling a clean, plain black handkerchief from his pocket, Kras wrapped it around Reed's hand and tied it, tight enough so it wouldn't fall off but not too tight that it'd hurt. "There. Much better." To be honest, Kras was not a fan of the sight of blood. It made him slightly faint, but he almost always managed to push past the faintness so he could take care of others. "I'm glad you like the books." he smiled.
