Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Seems like that's a dangerous habit." Kras chuckled. "Though there's honestly nothing wrong vith reading a whole lot. Mind if I sit?" Kras sat down, setting off to the side a few books he'd been holding. "I've been looking for some helpful things for career advice. I'm finishing school this year and honestly I'm not very sure vot I vant to do." He pouted, not happy with his indecision towards his future. "Oh, how rude of me, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Krasimir Svetkova, or just Kras for short."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"There is if your eyes give out, which I am sure mine would, if I was a Muggle." Vee blinked several times, her eyes felt very self-conscious. "Oh, sure!" She added, patting the ground. "Ooh, career... that's difficult. Want some help?" Vee offered, picking up a book and skimming through it. "Oh! So you're Kras! My friend, Jenna, talks about you all the time. She's always telling me about you or someone named Reed. It's nice to finally meet you! I'm Victoria Black, but I prefer Vee. I find Victoria a bit stuffy and old-fashioned, just like my mum." She mentally winced at mention of her mother. What was it with her family and old names?!
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[sorry...my internet cut out for a moment it does that.]
"Oh, you're Jenna's friend!" Kras smiled brightly. "And yes, Reed's my boyfriend." He hopes that's okay to say around Vee. To be honest, Kras would say that even if it wasn't okay, because he wasn't ashamed of Reed or the fact that they were together. He would just love to get up and tell everyone in the world how happy he was with Reed, no matter what anyone else thought. "It's nice to meet you too, Vee. I like your full name, it's pretty. Then again, vhere I come from I don't think Victoria isn't a common name so it's kind of different and I'm not used to it. My name's pretty common over in Bulgaria so it's kind of boring. Sorry, I ramble." Kras laughed. He grabbed one of the books he'd been carrying. "Career choice is difficult. Especially ven you don't really have a clue vot you vant to do."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[That's ok... That happens to me way too much.]
Vee was good that a mention of Jenna made Kras smile, because sometimes she was afraid that Jenna scared people away. Actually, Jenna would have scared Vee away if it hadn't been for Beauxbatons. "Oh that's cool!" Vee has absolutely no problem with that, and is glad Kras feels that way about Reed. "If you want to use my full name, I don't particularly care." She said, a dubious look on her face. "I just don't really like my mum too much, and it reminds me of her. Her name is NOT Victoria, though." She added. "Rambling is fine... I ramble a lot. I've just sort of learned to go with it." Vee was slipping over her words because if you say ramble that much it gets hard to talk. "Well, start with what you like doing. What do you like to do?" Vee went into action mode, attempting to help Kras. She wasn't the most organised person and sometimes she was a bit more of a hindrance than a help but she had watched her cousins go through this process.

[okiesss!]
"Vell, I'll just call you Vee cause you like that better, I can definitely tell." Kras smiled, knowing that that'd make her happier and he likes seeing people happy. When Vee told him to start with what he liked doing he had to think for a moment. "Vell...I like being around people. Seeing people happy is something that's important to me, plus just meeting new people all the time. I love that. I can't really think of something magical related that...vell, I just don't know. I'm pretty good at all my classes but Herbology's my best." He shrugged.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Thanks." Vee smiled. Kras seemed like a very happy person, which was nice. "Well people and plants..." She drifted away in thought. Those two things didn't NOT go together, but there weren't any people/plant jobs that Vee could think of besides Apothecary, which didn't seem right, somehow. "Well, I'm sure there are public relations jobs, like... Oh I dont know. Or you could be a herbology teacher..." There was something at the edge of her brain she couldnt quite catch. "Ugh."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[that's alright if there are. ^^ don't worry about it. hehe]
Kras bit his lip, feeling just more than a bit confused and hopeless. He had to come up with something. "I don't know...I vouldn't mind teaching, but it's never been something I've really vanted to do. It really doesn't even have to be a magical job, honestly. I'd just prefer it's something more people related, because I just love people. Especially little kids. I'm the oldest of all my cousins - I have almost over twenty little cousins - and I love helping my relatives look after their kids. It's fun."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[I just woke up at noon. I feel like I am late for something... :-|]
"So not teaching. "Hmm... Do you have any of those pamphlet things that you get? Those might help." Vee was biting her own lip. "Little kids... I like kids too. You're lucky you have so many cousins. That you seem to like. The few cousins I have are prats." Well, maybe her cousin Caroline didn't like her because of the stink pellet thing. But other than that!

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"I have a few of those...they're in my dorm though so I guess that doesn't help us much." Kras laughed. "Sorry to hear about your cousins. I guess it sort of helps that all my cousins are really young. I'm sure as they get older they'll be little nuisances, but for now I just adore them. Maybe it just depends on the family? Not saying anything bad about your family, of course. It just...vould make sense that the vay people act sort of depends on how they vere raised and who they vere raised around. If that makes sense."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"You could always use a summoning charm, you know." Vee said, raising her wand. "Do you mind?" She twiddled her wand, because twiddling your fingers sounds funny but you can't when you are holding your wand. "Yes, it does depend on my family. I'm a Black, so most of my family are Slytherin jerks. Only my Uncle Marius is nice. He bought me a new broomstick. He's a squib though, so Mum doesn't like him much. So I don't feel offended if you say bad things about my family at all." Vee really didn't like her mum, who was a stuffy old-fashioned woman with old-fashioned notions about purebloods.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Ve could...vell, it's alright. I think it'll be better to do our own thinking. I'll look at those tonight or so." Well..he'd try anyway. Most likely he'd just get distracted by Reed. His boyfriend really did have to stop being so darn irresistible. It was distracting. "I don't make a habit of saying bad things about others...but I've definitely heard of the Black family and...their views." He frowned. "I really don't think you're like the rest of them though, from vot I've seen so far. You've been rather nice." Kras smiled brightly. "I come from a pureblood family as vell, but ve're not as vell known over in these parts. My mother and her side of the family are the only vons who like to stick vith tradition for the most part." He spoke bitterly, remembering the fiasco that had happened when he and Reed had visited Anna. "My parents have split only recently, really. My dad and his side of the family are the most accepting and loving people I've ever met. They probably don't seem like your average old pureblood family." He shrugged, laughing.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Yeah probably, besides, it might hit someone on the head flying over here. Our domitories aren't exactly close by." Actually it would probably hit Vee in the head because she has bad reflexes and is a klutz and seems to get hurt whenever she moves. Unfortunate really. "Well let's hope..." Awww Svetson is adorable. "Oh, thanks." Vee said in a jokingly sarcastic way. "Yes, we do have an unpleasant history... Fairly violent. But I'm glad you think I'm nice, I try hard not to be like them. Probably why I'm a Hufflepuff!" And Vee loves everything about Hufflepuff except for the colour yellow. She winced at the bitterness in Kras's voice. "My... Apologies?" Vee wasn't positive how to respond. "Oh I have met a bunch of nice pureblood families. Although my old school was mostly pure loose and there were very few who were kind." She grimaced at the thought. Snobby girls...
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Ack...vell, ve vouldn't vant anyvon to get hit on the head from flying pamphlets." That would not be fun at all and Kras would feel really bad. "Hufflepuff's a pretty darn good house." Kras was rather thrilled when he was sorted into Hufflepuff because he absolutely adores the color yellow...even if it's not a good color for him to wear, since apparently, according to Reed's mother, it clashes with his skin tone. Ah well. "Sorry to hear about your last school. Vhich school vos it?" Kras is mostly just familiar with Hogwarts, Durmstrang - where he first attended - and Beauxbaton's, but he is aware that there are other magical schools out there.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Yes it would be bad." Okay, maybe Vee might laugh, but it would be mean. "Yeah, we're all so nice! And friendly and accepting!" Vee looked cheerful, like a true Hufflepuff. And it's probably true because yellow clashes with just about everyone's skin tone. And from what Vee has read, she takes it that Reed's mum works in the fashion industry so she would be picky. "Oh, I went to Beauxbatons. There was a lot of pressure to be a perfect young lady, and it wasn't my thing. Jenna was like, my only friend there." Beauxbatons was made out to be a 'perfect' school but it was very different from Vee's perspective.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Kras agrees with Vee about the people of Hufflepuff; he's quite a fan of a lot of the aspects and qualities of those of their house. "I've heard quite a bit about that school." Kras nods. "It probably vos a bit difficult; no offense but girls can be sort of scary sometimes, so I can only imagine vot it'd be like to put so many like that together in von building." Kras really had no problem with girls...just...when they got mad or something they could really be scary. "I'm glad you had Jenna at least. She's a great friend."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Oh, thanks a lot!" Vee joked. "Well, if most of them are image-obsessed perfect little rich kids, yes. But it was wonderful to have Jenna there. She has quite a head for pranks, so we got back at them sometimes. We managed to have some fun times anyway." Jenna was really a great friend and Vee was glad that Kras agreed.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Kras laughed. "I can just see you two coming up vith all sorts of pranks to get back at those kids." He had done some pranks before with his best friend, Andrei, back at Durmstrang, but, for the most part, any of the pranks Kras did he made sure were harmless. Because he wasn't totally the type to pull pranks on people when instead he generally preferred to just be friends with everyone. No matter what...well, unless the other person was an evil person who had killed people. Then Kras probably wouldn't want to be friends with them so much.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"Those girls will rue the day they ever annoyed us about our eating habits!" Vee joked. Yes, nutella had like, a million calories per serving but who cares?! And of course, if the person was an evil psychopath killer, then the prank might get a bit more nasty, and possibly involve decapitation. Not really, of course, but possibly some mandrakes.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Ooooh, mandrakes...now that's creative. "Eating habits, huh?" Kras chuckled. "Vot interesting eating habits did you have? OH, vhich reminds me...unless you've already gotten to try some from Jenna..." he reached into his bag that was laying next to him and pulled out a small container, opening it and holding it out to Vee, "cookie? I make them myself. Reed's obsessed vith them. Sometimes I joke that he's only dating me for the cookies, though I really know that isn't true. Cookies are just an amazing added bonus." he laughed.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Wait... Those are fatal. Ah well... Perhaps the evil people wear earmuffs. "Yeah, we had a jar of nutella which we shared at night. According to the girls, midnight snacks were frowned upon. I got hungry, though!" Vee added, in a defensive voice. "The meals were very light, and we were often distracted by some foolish wood-nymph things serenading us while we attempted to consume our dinner." She realised she sounded grumpy. "Actually, French food is quite good, but they didn't serve much."
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[what the heck? *glares at her computer* I thought it sent and here the whole time it had deleted my post. Le garrrr! Rewritten posts are never as good as the first one. Sad face. ]
The evil people can wear earmuffs...except for Lord Voldemort. Hmm...I wonder what that would have done to him. Wouldn't it have been ironic if that's all Harry would have had to have done? Well...only if there'd been no horcruxes to consider anyway. "Ooooh! Nutella is yummy!" Kras grins. "I've heard midnight snacks aren't alvays the best, if von really vants to vatch their figure, but I say 'who cares?' at least it vos a yummy snack! Those vood-nymph things sound like they vould be a bit distracting. I've heard they have nice voices."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[That happened to my last post... Kinda. I still have it but my mum opened a different tab and started watching Hulu. It's still sitting there all alone and it is much better than the one I posted.]
Does Voldemort even HAVE ears? He doesn't have a nose... I feel like he doesn't have ears. That would be ironic, and it's like the whole time he could have just thought back to his third year and...boom! "Yes, sure, they have lovely voices, but I don't want to listen to some wood nymph singing about my eyes being as silver as the moon. It puts me off my dinner."
[OMG DID MY EARS DECEIVE ME??? I swear I just heard "Svetson" on the radio. In relation to... hats?]

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
[Aww, poor post. *pats it* AHHH well...Svetson is actually some real life peoples' last name. Which is really weird...cause I just found that out. XD Yay google searches... I didn't see anything about hats though. So I don't know.]
Voldemort definitely has ears...so I guess it really would have worked. Oh my god. haha. "Hm...I guess I could see how that vould be off putting." Kras takes a closer look at Vee's eyes. "Vell, you do have pretty eyes. Maybe you could just look at it as a compliment?" It would be kind of distracting to have someone singing about your eyes or any other features while you were trying to eat...though Kras would probably still always compliment Reed no matter where they were at or what they were doing.
