Louis is pulled from his day dreams as Lavender trips over his feet. "oh! Lavender! i'm so sorry! I'm alright are you?" He reaches up to catch her or stop her from falling and then stands up himself "Seems like we're always just running into each other" he laughed a little

She was still bright red. "I'm fine! I need to watch where I'm going I guess." She giggles at his little joke. "This is a random spot to run into each other. What brings you up here?" She smiled at him, her color finally returning to normal.

"Oh not too much, I like to come up here to escape sometimes, just think. It's quiet you know? plus I like to look at the stars at night" He smiled at her "What about you? What brings you up to the astronomy tower?"

She smiled at his answer. "Just came up to...think." She hesitated because she wasn't sure if she should tell Louis about what happened with Dom or not. "It's usually nice and quiet up here. Like you said, a place to escape. Um, care if I join you?"

Louis' stomach flipped a bit. The look on Lavender's face could only mean that it hadn't gone too well. Oh how he was going to kill her. "My sister huh? Dominique or Victoire?" He hoped it was the latter, Victoire was always nice, wheras he really needed to worry about Dom.

She bit her lip. "Dom. I guess you must have mentioned me, because once she knew who I was she treated me differently. I mean, I get that siblings want to protect each other. I totally understand that!" She really didn't know why she was basically defending Dom. If she had been talking about anyone else, she would be bashing them. Adding in things that didn't happen. That sort of thing, you know, how girls gossip.

Louis sighed and rubbed his face with his hands, running them up through his hair "Differently? How different? I'm so sorry for her. She's a bit dramatic sometimes. She needs to learn some manners apparently." he put an arm around her "what happened?"

"Well. It's my fault really. I was, you know, really happy after we kissed the other day." She smiled at the memory. "So, I was sort of gushing about how much I like you." Cue blush here. "Then she said her brother was a Ravenclaw in the seventh year, so I asked who it was, and she said you, and I got really embarrassed you know! I mean, I was just talking about how great of a kisser her brother is, of course she would be...less than friendly. I feel so stupid." She shook her head and looked down again.

Louis knew he shouldn't be happy right about now, but the fact that Lavender was gushing about how good of a kisser he was made him look down and grin a little. Moving back to the topic at hand "Don't feel stupid Lavender! You didn't know who she was, and she shouldn't be judging you, she's in no position to do so. Like I said, she needs to learn some manners. What did she say to you?" he used his arm that was around her to pull her closer, comforting her

She grins, he was such a sweetheart. "Well. She didn't really say anything mean." She thought back to the conversation. "She told me I was really pretty, then when I said thanks she asked if I agreed that I thought I was pretty. It was really confusing. Then she left."

Louis sighed again and groaned. Dom could be such a bitch sometimes. He shook his head "That's Dom for you. I can't tell you how many times she's done this. I don't know why she does it though. I'm going to talk to her about it, it needs to stop. Whenever Vic or I hang out with a new girl, she gets this way. I don't understand her."

She bit her lip yet again. "You don't have to say anything! It's fine. I understand how girls are, believe me! I don't want to cause any trouble. It's fine. I'll see her again, and talk to her. Hopefully she'll be able to see, I'm not that bad. you know." She leaned her head against his shoulder.

He smiled when she leaned her head on his shoulder but shook his head "Oh no, I'm going to talk to her. I won't mention you if you don't want me to, but I will get it out of her. And of course she'll see that you're amazing. Anyone could see that" He smiled and ran a hand through her hair.

"Yes. Please don't mention I told you. I don't want her to think I'm tattling. Don't be mean either. Well, I don't think you are able to mean. Just..Just think about how it would be if you were her in this situation." She closed her eyes when he played with her hair. Little known fact: She absolutely LOVED people to play with her hair.

He laughed "If I were in her situation, which I've been many times, I wouldn't be a bitch." He smirked a little "She's two years younger than me and she feels as though she gets to judge who I hang out with. That's not okay" he laughed a little and continued to run a hand through her hair, hoping their date that weekend would be enough to get her to agree to be his girlfriend.
