Luna giggled. "There are plenty of rooms to choose from. Sweden would be nice. I've been reading up on it a lot recently, you know. There's a lot of information I missed the last time I went there."

[Dean Thomas]

Dean practically threw aside his drawing. "Wait. You found more information? Like what? If you go back I wanna come!" He wasn't even asking, then he realized that sounded a bit demanding. "I mean, if you want. You're totally the one to find the Snorkacks there." He nodded.

Luna beamed at the thought of Dean coming along. She really had no idea who else would be interested in joining her in Sweden. Hermione, as much as Luna would love for her to come, had never been that into the creatures Luna believed in. And she hardly knew anyone else that she thought would want to go with her. "I'd love for you to come! I was wondering who would be interested in joining me. It would be a lot of fun. Hard work...but fun. Especially with you there with me."

[Dean Thomas]

Dean was practically bouncing. "I would love to! Besides, you'll probably need a man to help with the hard labor and what not." Since Luna wasn't of age, of course, not because she needed a man to do the work for her. "Anyone would be crazy not to want to come. Do you need any help researching anything?"

[Ravenclaw Mod]

Luna grinned and nodded because having a man around would be extremely helpful. "That would be perfect! Um. Not yet. I'm mostly just looking at maps and things. I could bring some of the books next time-- Oh. Erm- I sort of let Rolf borrow all my books on Sweden...But when I get them back I can show you some of them."

[Dean Thomas]

Dean sorta froze for a moment when she mention Rolf. Was there something going on between them? He forced a smile on his face. "Oh, Rolf the Ravenclaw? Why is he borrowing your Sweden books?" That was a pretty innocent question, right?

[Ravenclaw Mod]

"Oh. Yes, the Ravenclaw. We've talked a few times and he said he was interested in Sweden. He wanted to read a book about it, but it wasn't on the shelves in the common room so I let him borrow some of my books. I'm sure he'll be finished with them soon though," she said with a bright smile, not realizing anything different in her friend as she mentions Rolf.

[Dean Thomas]

Dean gathered that Luna and Rolf weren't all that close, so he relaxed some more. "Well that was nice of you! Let me know if you need help with anything, anything at all. I've got a lot of money saved up too if you need any." That was true, since he was planning on taking a tour of the world, but he would gladly spend it all for Luna. "Plus a lot of camping equipment from when me and Remus when camping over the holiday."

[Ravenclaw Mod]

"Really? That camping equipment would come in helpful. I have a tent and some camping supplies as well, but it's always good to have back up." She couldn't help but turn pink at the thought of Dean spending his saved money on her. The Lovegoods weren't exactly rich, not that they were desperate for money or anything. "You don't have to use your savings on this trip. It's not like we'll need to be spending too much money on anything. Thank you though," she whispered softly.

[Dean Thomas]

He smiled at her blush, he thought it was adorable. "I honestly don't mind. If we need to buy food supplies or anything like that. Or if there are any other books that for some reason Hogwarts doesn't have. Whatever you need." He nodded once. "Oooh, I bet those mountains would be amazing to sketch."

[Ravenclaw Mod]

Luna smiled and wrapped both arms around Dean to give him a tight hug. She pulled and kept smiling at him. "Well then, make sure you bring your sketchbook. Then you can spend your time drawing the mountains and forests in our free time."

[Dean Thomas]

He was a little surprised when she randomly hugged him, but he appreciated it all the same. He patted her back briefly and grinned at her. "Well, I tend not to go anywhere without my sketchpad these days. Too many secrets in there." He chuckled a little bit for some reason, probably nervous.

[Ravenclaw Mod]

"Secrets, hm? And I allowed to know any of these secrets?" she asked teasingly, though deep down she really was sort of curious about what he had hiding in his sketchbook.

[Dean Thomas]

"Hmmm." He scratched his chin. "Only if you're nice." He chuckled and was really nervous all of the sudden. This was the sketchpad he had when he didn't have any friends, therefore it was filled with extremely depressing drawings. He quick tried to think of any drawing in there that were harmless doodles.

[Ravenclaw Mod]

Aww. "Well, I'd love to see some more of your sketches someday, Dean," she said with a soft smile, wondering if Dean had ever completed that drawing of the castle. She remembered that he seemed to have a difficult time with it the last few times she asked.

[Dean Thomas]

He smiled and decided to be honest. "Well, I'll show you someday. It's just, the ones in this notebook are a bit depressing. So. Yeah." And no, he completely gave up on the drawing of Hogwarts. "Once I start back up with the happier drawings, I'll be able to show you." Dean should be sleeping. Instead Dean is watching behind the scenes of Glee.

Speaking of sleeping. <.< I NEED SOME OF THAT BUT I DON'T WANNA END THIS SCENE YET...SO...I will be on all day tomorrow. <3 GOODNIGHT

Luna frowns slightly because that's rather sad to hear. "Depressing? Well, I supposed it makes sense that artists would use sketching to express their emotions...Which would result in some sad pictures. Did you ever finish that drawing of the castle?" Yep. She asked.

[Dean Thomas]

NIGHT!!! I WILL BE OFF AND ON THROUGHOUT THE DAY PROBABLY!! <3 <3 <3

Dean nodded. "Yeah, I've always said my sketches are like my journal." He smiled then shook his head sadly. "No I didn't actually. Totally gave up on that. I was getting to frustrated. I know I know, it's bad to give up on something. I did try though. Maybe someday I'll be able to draw a castle." He sighed dramatically.

Luna frowned again because that's not what she was expecting to hear at all. "You gave up? Oh. Well, you're good at drawing just about everything else, so I guess it's not big deal that you couldn't do one thing...I do hope you try again someday though. I'm sure it would love amazing if you ever finished it."

[Dean Thomas]

He smiled. "Thanks. Do you draw at all? It's pretty relaxing. I'll probably try when I'm on my trip around the world. I'm sure I'll encounter another castle somewhere probably. If I ever master it, I will send it straight to you." He smiled and hoped there aren't any typos because my fingers are frozen.

Luna smiles at the thought of Dean giving her another picture. She still has the one he drew of her back in the beginning of the year in her dorm. Mhm.
"Well, I do paint now and then," she said with a slight shrug, because Luna must paint if she has the big portrait of her friends in her room. "I've had a lot of free time recently so I've been painting a lot in my dorm. Just random things, really."

[Dean Thomas]

Dean loves that Luna still has his picture. He smiles widely. "That's awesome! I'd love to see what you paint sometime. If you want, that is. I mean, I totally understand if you don't like sharing. I'm like that sometimes too. Remus is like the only person who has seen all my drawings."

[Ravenclaw Mod]

Luna smiled and nodded. She didn't normally show people her paintings because, well, people normally didn't seem interested in actually looking at them. "I'd love to show you some of my paintings! It's only fair after you showed me your drawings, right?"

[Dean Thomas]

He grinned. "Yeah, I suppose that's fair." He grabbed his sketchpad again and realized he was finished with his mountain/lake sketch. "I guess this is finished. What do you think?" He slid the drawing over to Luna.

Luna nods and silently takes the drawing from Dean, looking at it carefully before speaking. "Dean...This is beautiful," she whispers quietly. "It's amazing. You're so talented," she tells him before handing the paper back over to her friend.
