He felt his neck get a little hot. "Well thank you! Years and years of practice I suppose." He shrugged and smiled. And short post is short because I fail at thinking of a conversation right now.

"And talent...Which you have a lot of when it comes to drawing," she adds with a sincere smile. "I really do hope that you keep up with this, Dean. It'd be sad if you ever stopped sketching."

He smiled again. "That'll never happen. It's as much a part of me as breathing. Unless I lose both my hands in a freak accident of some sort, I will probably draw for the rest of my life." He nodded.

Dean could learn to draw with his mouth. He could so do it. Yep. "Well, I'm glad. It's nice to have something you're really good at and love doing." She smiled at Dean and shivered slightly, realizing just how cold it was up here on the Astronomy Tower. "I should probably head back to my common room soon," she says sadly, enjoying her conversation with Dean.

Dean sighed sadly. He loved spending time with Luna and was always sad when his time was up. "Yeah. It is getting pretty cold." Dean would totally give her his jacket if he was wearing one. "We'll have to decide on a time to have another study session."

"Mhm. Hopefully sometime soon. I'm not very busy this week, so whenever you're free, I suppose," she says happily, excited about having more study sessions with Dean, even if they never do get much studying done.

"Okay. I'll let you know somehow." He stood and offered her his hand to stand. "I'll at least walk to you the bottom of the tower." He smiled and made sure he had all his drawing supplies in his bag.

Luna returned the smile as she took Dean's hand and stood up to walk back down the tower with him. "Okay. Hopefully it'll be really soon. I've missed our studying sessions...A lot," she admits as she walks down the stairs with him on the way to their common rooms.

And then they hug and go off to their own common rooms. Yup.

Remus is hiding out up here because he's still kind of upset over the talk he'd had with Sirius in the dorm. He's sitting on the top step, his head resting on his knees with his arms wrapped around his legs. *cue the most awesome brother ever*

Dean is coming up to the astronomy tower to think about life. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was going, so he nearly tripped on someone sitting on the top step. He lost his balance briefly, then recovered. He looked down and saw some sandy blondish hair he'd recognize anywhere. He sat down and put an arm around his brother. "Remus? You okay brother?"

Remus feels quite bad for almost tripping his brother. Oops. He probably shouldn't have sat there. Ah well. What's done is done. He leans against Dean and sighs, shaking his head. "No...but there's nothing I can do about it besides accept things are just going to be the way they are. It sucks sometimes, Dean. It really does."

Dean doesn't quite follow, but he totally agrees with the second part of that statement. He pats Remus' shoulder, "I can't argue that, but what happened that has you down?" He hoped he'd be able to help comfort his brother once he understood the situation a little better.

"I kind of did something stupid..and it lead to Sirius finding out about my feelings for him." Remus wanted to smack his head on the wall for being so dumb. "When we finally talked about it, I just...I didn't think it would hurt this much, hearing him talk about just being friends and all that. It feels like someone's stabbing me in the chest or something. We just want things to go back to being as normal as possible...but it's hard. Especially when all of this means more to me than it does to him. But I really need to get over it cause it's not fair to Jack. I don't want this to bug me anymore...but it's not like I can help who I fall in love with, right?"

Dean knows all to well what it feels like to fall for one of your best friends. "I know what you mean. It is really hard, and you wish you can make it go back to normal. I hate to say it, but it usually doesn't. I want to be able to tell you it goes away with time, but so far for me it hasn't. I don't know if you'd be able to, but maybe you could try spending some time apart. I know that's hard since you are in the same dorm, but maybe a little space would be okay. Then you could spend more time with Jack too." Dean is really pretty horrible at giving advice. He continues to rub little circles on Remus' back.

Remus doesn't really want to spend time apart from Sirius. Plus he knows Sirius probably wouldn't like that either, considering what he'd said the night before about feeling like he was losing Remus..but Dean had a point. "I guess that makes sense. It's so difficult, this whole love thing." Remus chuckled weakly. "I'm kind of glad I've never really had to deal with it before now. Never thought I'd really ever have to worry about it...being a werewolf and all." Cause who would fall in love with a werewolf? Which reminds him that he still hasn't told Jack about that...but he's not sure if he even should. He didn't want to lose Jack.

Dean nodded in agreement. "It's never an easy thing, love. I too wish I didn't have to deal with it, but I guess it's part of life." He shrugged and really didn't know what to say. "And just because you are a werewolf doesn't mean you don't deserve someone to love. You really do, brother."

"Yeah...life." Life is crazy. That's that. Remus felt that annoying lump return in his throat when Dean tells him he still deserved someone to love even if he was a werewolf. He hugged Dean tightly. "Thanks, brother. You're the best."

Dean too felt a little lump rise in his throat. He cleared his throat and hugged Remus back. "I'm just trying to help. I know I'm not very good at advice giving, but I know it helps just to have someone around to vent your feelings too." He nodded.

"It does help...ack, the last person before you that I really vented my feelings out to was Professor McGonagall. How odd is that?" Remus laughed. "I just..don't even know sometimes...things just happen."

Dean froze. "P-professor McGonagall? That's...interesting." Confused Dean is confused. "Yeah, I guess things do happen. They say it's all for a reason. Who knows what they were talking about though."

"Yeah. McGonagall. I went in to ask her about an essay and she noticed I was not all that happy and she asked about it...I just sort of told her almost everything. It was weird." Remus shrugged. "You're right, guess it is all for a reason...but what reason it is, I have no idea. Your guess is as good as mine."

"I really wish I could be of more help. I hate seeing you upset. I feel helpless, like there's nothing I can do for you." He sighed sadly.
