"I've never really thought about that myself." Remus smiles at Viktor, "Hagrid generally feeds them dead rats or ferrets. Other than that I would assume they eat all sorts of small mammals."

Luna giggles because Hippogriffs eat dead ferrets and Draco was turned into a ferret in GoF. Hm. I see what you did there, Rowling. I see what you did there. "Oh. Dead rats. Charming," he chuckled. "Vell, I'd love to go meet them sometime and feed them...small, dead mammals."

Amethyst was totally giggling thinking about that while she was writing her reply. Remus laughed and grinned. "At least you won't have to see a lot of blood - they're sort of good at swallowing their food whole sometimes. I've seen them do it." Ew, blood. Icky. "We don't have to feed them though when we visit them, if you don't want to."

"Well, I think you'll be okay." Remus smiled and nodded. "Fingers included. That would put a damper on your Quidditch career if you lost them, wouldn't?" And no he did not just think about that time in the kitchen when, after eating some nummy chocolate covered pineapple, they were snogging and Viktor's hands were on his waist. He totally liked that...JS. *blinks*

Oh right. There are other things that Viktor needs his fingers and hands for, huh. Well, Viktor is glad that Remus enjoyed that moment because Viktor did too. Yep. He's sort of sad now because that moment is in the past. Good times. "Just a bit," he chuckled. "Vell, I guess I can trust you enough to go out and feed the Hippogriffs vith you."

Good times. Yep yep. Remus is sort of sad now cause that's in the past. Sigh. Anyway. "Oh, and" Remus chuckled, "I hope you don't think I'm going to save you if a hippogriff decides it's suddenly angry. Yeah, no way, mister. I'm running as fast as I can in the opposite direction. I'll try throwing a dead ferret off to the side to distract it but other than that you're on your own."

Viktor dropped his jaw and brought his hand to his chest in mock shock. "Vot?" He sighed and shook his head. Figures. Here he thought Remus wanted to spend some time with him when really, he just trying to feed him to the hippogriffs. "Vell...Vell then..That's just dandy. Thanks a lot, buddy. I'll personally handwrite your invitation to my funeral then, shall I? And I thought ve vere friends. Psh," he said, trying to hold back a smirk but failing.

"How exactly do you plan on writing to me when you're dead? And don't say 'well, I'll come back as a ghost' cause ghosts. can't. hold. quills." he poked Viktor's shoulder with each emphasized word. Then he laughed, "I'm just kidding, Vik. I'll save you...though, honestly, I doubt you'll have to worry about it. They're nice as long as you don't threaten or insult them. And I know you're not the kind of guy who just does that for the heck of it." he smiled softly at Viktor.

"Um, I vould write it before I died obviously. I'll write it tonight in the dorm. Yep." He glanced over at Remus and laughed. "Vell, that's nice of you. I guess I'd save you to if I had to because, you know, Remus Lupin...That guy is just full of rude insults. Alvays running around and calling nice hippogriffs names just for the fun of it. Who knows vot kind of trouble he'll get himself into."

"Yeah, and then you'll feel like an idiot because you wrote this lovely invitation out for your funeral...and then nothing bad'll happen and you'll live." Remus rolled his eyes, grinning. He wrinkled his nose and shoved Viktor playfully, "I don't do that, and I most certainly won't get into any trouble, thanks." he sniffed and gave Viktor a slight pout, trying not to grin and laugh.

Viktor laughed. "Oh, right. I forgot. That's Sirius that I vos thinking of," he said with a laugh because it's pretty clear that Sirius is the trouble maker. "Vell, I'd still save you if for some reason that hippogriff had a problem vith nice Gryffindor guys ~~that are really good kissers~~," he said with a laugh.

And they got really into it and fell off the astronomy tower, but it's all good because this is Viktor Krum we're talking about. He hit the ground first so no one was injured, but the ground...which broke. "Good. As you should. Ve are talking about the guy who had to get past an overprotective mama dragon here, don't you know." Viktor tied for first place on that task. Yep. Probably would have done better than Harry if he didn't lose points for the silly dragon crushing all those real dragon eggs. Oops.

"Conjunctivitis Curse. I blinded her temporarily so I could sneak past. I vish I vould have thought about flying though. Probably vould have been a lot easier, but I managed vithout it so it's all good, I guess," he said with a shrug.

Remus can totally see, like, a bazillion things that could go wrong with that plan. Like, OMG what if she broke all the real eggs then? *blinks* "I see how that would work...flying seems like it'd have been a better plan, but, hey, you made it." he smiled, "So whatever works!" Remus is just glad Viktor made it safely....otherwise they might have never gotten to meet! Sadness!

I LOOOOOVE YOU." he pouts, which, you know, is sort of irresistible. *blinks* Remus shrugged, "Sometimes I guess the easy way could be less fun...but sometimes the easier way is safer, and, for me, safer is generally the better route." Remus likes being safe. Yep.

Well...er, Sirius doesn't have to know...like, ever. *blinks and kicks Sirius for killing 13 ducks* "I guess you'd get to have more fun then too." Remus sighs inwardly, because that must be one of the reasons he's probably so boring sometimes. He's too busy trying to keep things safe and easy instead of taking lots of risks - except for when he's with Sirius, it seems. He's done some pretty crazy things with Sirius - like all those times they explored the castle to get information to make the map.
