"Wait- Dean!" It was too late. He was already long gone and Luna was left alone, confused and upset. She knew Dean was lying. He came up here all the time, so there was no way he was afraid of heights. She frowned and turned away, catching the sight of his sketchpad out of the corner of her eye. "Oh..." She picked it up and set it in her lap. Well, at least this would give her an excuse to go talk to him again later. She leaned back against the siding of the astronomy tower, wondering what she had said to upset Dean...

She had mentioned her date with Rolf. That's when Dean started acting funny. Why would he be upset with that though? Sure, he had a small crush on her in the beginning of the year but she was sure that he had gotten over that by now, especially after all they had been through this year. She glanced down at the sketchpad in her hands. She knew she shouldn't look through it. But...she really wanted to see the sketch Dean had been working on just now. She opened to the page he had been using, smiling as she saw the unfinished drawing.

She meant to close the book, but she accidentally caught a glimpse of another sketch that was completed. Curious as to what it was (Because it didn't look like a landscape to her), she turned the page, only to see a drawing of...of herself. Her jaw dropped in shock as she recognized the sketch, and she couldn't stop herself as she turned to the next page and saw another sketch of herself, and another, and another...

"Oh Dean," she whispered as a single tear fell from her eye. She closed the sketchpad and tucked it into her bag, before getting up and walking down to her dorm, her stomach in knots as she realized that Dean's feelings for her had never gone away.

Lucius walked up to the top of the astronomy tower, hoping that he wouldn't run into anybody because he really wasn't in the mood to entertain the annoying people of this school. The school year was nearing its end, and he couldn't wait to get out of here for good.

Kras is just meandering about, in quite a good mood because things are going good right now...well, except for that 'minor' detail that his parents are going through a divorce right now and he was going to have to go home in a few days since they asked him to. Not having spent much time up in the Astronomy Tower, Kras decides to go up and just spend some time overlooking the grounds. He blinks in surprise when he sees someone already up here. "Oops!" he smiles politely to the rather attractive looking blond. "Didn't think there'd be anyvon else up here right now. I hope you don't mind...or I could just go..." he looked hopeful, hoping that he could stay because then he could hang out in the tower and he could make a new friend.

Lucius arched an eyebrow, not bothering to hide his annoyance as some Hufflepuff came up to him...and then spoke to him in the most annoying accent. "Its a free school. You can do whatever the bloody hell you please, I suppose," he answered haughtily. He gave Kras a quick once over, mentally noting that he was good looking. Not exactly Lucius' type, but good looking nonetheless.

Kras blinks in surprise at the boy's haughty tone, noticing his slight tone of annoyance as well. Maybe the guy was having a bad day? Kras reddened slightly when he noticed the Slytherin giving him a quick once over. "Er...um, vell, I vos just going to chill for a moment." He went to stand over by the railing, leaning on it. "I'm Kras, by the vay."

Lucius sighed as Kras leaned against the railing, and turned away to look down over the grounds instead of at the tall Hufflepuff. "Lucius," he introduced coldly as he glared down at the lake where people were playing some stupid game near the water.

Kras looks down at the grounds to see what Lucius was glaring at. "Oh! That looks like fun." he hums quietly to himself for a bit before turning to glance at the other guy. "So vere you just up here for a break or do you normally try to avoid people? Or..." he blushed slightly, somewhat embarrassed, "you don't have to answer cause it's not entirely my place to ask since ve just met."

Lucius turned to glance over at Kras, looking unamused but he was hiding his annoyance by now. "Fun isn't what I would call it," he replied in a bored voice. "I came up here to avoid people, and look how well that turned out," he answered with a slight eye roll as he turned his attention back to the people at the lake.

"Not fun? It looks like fun though and you get to play vith a lot of other people." What? Kras loved teamwork and spending time around others. He was a people person. "I can really go if you'd like me to." It wasn't that he was oblivious to the fact that Lucius seemed rather annoyed with his presence, he just wasn't going to let it get him down. And generally when people acted like this, Kras would try and cheer them up and try to befriend them. It was just how he was. "Are you having a bad day? Is that vy you're trying to avoid people?" he tilted his head questioningly. "I'm a good listener if you'd like to talk about it."

Lucius rolled his eyes again because he's not a people person and playing with other people is the last thing he wants to do. "Excuse me?" he asked, shocked that someone was asking him to...talk to them about his problems? "No, I'm not having a bad day. I just have better things to do than waste my time with the people here, is all. And I'd rather not talk to a Puff about my 'problems,' thank you very much," he added, the annoyance clear in his voice again. Lucius is grumpy today.

Kras decides to tread a bit lighter since this guy really seems to be in a grumpy mood today. "Oh...sorry then. I didn't mean to anger you. Er...vot's wrong vith being in Hufflepuff?" he asked, slightly confused. It wasn't as if he hadn't heard about how people tended to joke about the Hufflepuff house more so than the others. He just didn't see the point.

"Nothings wrong if you like being the spare house," he scoffed. "I'd rather die than be sorted into that house. Luckily I had nothing to worry about. The Malfoys have always been sorted into Slytherin. There are people who say house doesn't matter, but everyone knows that your house means everything and while the teachers deny it, some houses are better than others."

Kras does not really get mad or show it when he does. Except for that time he yelled at his parents but that was different. As it is, he's starting to feel some sort of annoyance towards this Lucius Malfoy fellow. Of course, Kras being Kras, he'll keep his calm, friendly exterior up as he continues the conversation. "I honestly don't agree vith you." he smiles politely, shrugging. "I think each house has its own pros and cons, but I don't think there's von that's better than any of the others." He was pretty good at not letting a defensive edge rise into his voice, though it was probably implied by this point. "Everyvon has their own house pride, that's all I think it is."

Lucius scowled and looked away again. Kras was starting to remind him why he preferred staying in the Slytherin common room during the day. "Think what you will. But a Hufflepuff is a Hufflepuff is a Hufflepuff, and I've never met one that I've actually liked," he answered honestly. Oh, he went there. Oops. Lucius is honest. Too honest, sometimes, but there it is.

Kras blinks. Well, the guy was rather blunt now wasn't he? Still...Kras didn't like fighting with others and he didn't like making enemies so he would continue to be somewhat friendly. "Vell..maybe ve could be friends. You know, ve just met and all, you can't really judge somevon you've only just met." he nods matter-of-factly. "I'm generally friendly vith everyvon and apparently rather like-able." He turned around and leaned back against the railing, arms crossed loosely across his chest as he stared at Lucius.

Lucius turned to face Kras with his hands on his hips, laughing at the idea of being friends with Kras. He really didn't have many 'friends.' He had people that he surrounded himself with that he deemed important, but Lucius had never been the type to gossip and share secrets with people. He never let himself get close to anyone. Feelings and emotions made a person weak. "Are you daft? Why would I want to be your friend? I don't fucking like you!"

[Awww, Oh snap...Poor Kras. *pats him* Kras on the other hand....*facepalm* I don't think he gets it just yet.]

Kras blinks. Then he feels sad. Not for himself, but for Lucius. The poor guy must not have very many friends and he's angry about it. "Vell, you von't get many friends vith that attitude. I'm sorry for being so tactless, it's probably rather lonely for you...but don't vorry, you'll find some nice people in your house at the very least that'll vant to be friends vith you if you don't like being around people like me. Though you're rather judgmental if you don't vant to be friends vith somevon you've just met and don't have an extremely good reason for disliking them."

"I have plenty of good reasons for not liking you," he spat in disbelief, wondering what Kras wasn't understanding when he said 'I don't like you.' "And for your information, I'm not lonely. Notice how I had to come all the way up here just to get away from people? I don't need advice from some Hufflepuff on how to make friends, understand?"

"Okay, okay, Mr. Grumpygills." Kras sighed, pulling away from the railing to stand up straight. "Ve all have our own vay of doing things. I'm sorry for bothering you. Maybe next time you von't be having such a bad day and ve can have a more civilized conversation. I'll just be going now." He was glad that not all the Slytherins he had met so far were as mean as this fellow. That Scorpius fellow who had done his tattoo had been quite friendly. Kras wasn't going to let Lucius' attitude get him down though. He turned and headed for the stairway, turning around once to wave and smile brightly at the blond fellow before disappearing down the stairs.

[They are definitely going to have to meet again at some point. XD This was amusing.]

Lucius stared in disbelief as Kras walked off. He really wasn't sure of what had just happened, but he now knew that he was right in thinking all Puffs were naive and annoying. He sighed, annoyed with the way Kras had ruined his time alone and turned away from the grounds to head back to his dorm where no one would bother him.

Parvati walked up to the top of the Astronomy tower and sat down on the wall, her feet dangling off of the edge. She was being quite the daring young girl as she sat there, risking her life as she thought of how if she made one wrong move she could fall. She shifted slightly on the wall she was sitting on and then she was falling. She screamed loudly as she fell backwards onto the cement. She really should not have leaned back so far. She stood up and walked down the stairs, heading to go to the Hospital Wing to get some ice for her sore shoulder that she fell on.
