Luna sighs and leans against the wall as she watches Hermione leave, smiling to herself because she doesn't remember ever being this happy. "Goodbye," she says quietly, standing there a moment longer before she finally picks up her bag and heads back to her common room.

Molly slips into the hidden alcove and sinks onto one of the stone benches. She just sits a moment, eyes closed and head resting on the wall. Molly is tired. For days on end she's done nothing but study late into the night, and the evidence is written on her face for anyone who knows her well enough. Sure, makeup and spells have concealed the dark circles under her tired eyes, but her face is paler than usual. Molly sighs a little, opening her eyes and ratting through her bag. She just needs a break, a chance to check out for a few minutes and recharge. Her fingers sort through the jumble in her bag until she's grasping what she needs, a moment later she has a joint expertly rolled. Molly drops her bag on the floor, turns sideways so her feet are on the bench, her back to the cold stone wall, and lights up. She takes a long drag.

Viktor is walking along when he senses someone else near him. He glances towards the hidden alcove and realizes that it's just his BFF, Molly. He smiles as he walks over to her to say hello, frowning slightly as he realizes that something obviously isn't right. "Hey, Molly," he says softly as he leans against the wall next to her, looking down at his not so happy looking friend on the bench. "Something wrong? You don't look so great," he comments, hoping that she realizes that he's talking about her mood, not the fact that she's isn't a hottie because she so is. Even Viktor can see that, even if he doesn't like girls.

Molly looks up at Viktor and smiles. Not her usual gream, but a definite smile because even if she's exhausted she's still happy to see her BFF. "Hey Viktor. I'm fine," she says on reflex. "Just, like, tired you know? Studying has totally been a drag lately. How you going?" she says, pulling her knees up towards her chest to make room for Viktor on the bench as well. She gestures for him to sit if he wants, takes a drag of her joint, and then holds it out in offering.

Viktor looks at Molly, raising an eyebrow in confusion because he's pretty sure she just said something about studying. "I'm alright," he says as he sits down next to her, taking a long drag of her joint before handing it back, because he has a feeling he's going to need it for whatever's going on that's making Molly Prewett study. "Sorry, did you just say studying has been a drag?"

Molly frouts a little. What hope does she have of convincing Kingsley that she can be studious if her own BFF can't even comprehend her saying the word. She takes two drags of her joint, letting the floating feeling take over her brain a little. "I do study you know. Just because I'm not, like, a genius or votever, doesn't mean I don't ever try."

Viktor frowns slightly, wondering what was causing his usually cheerful and bubbly friend to be so moody with him. "Oh. Sorry," he mumbled, not sure what exactly was going on. "I just thought you mentioned vonce that Prewetts didn't need to study to be awesome," he said, smirking slightly in hopes that he would make Molly smile again, even if just a little one.

"It's totally cool," Molly says offhandedly, waving a hand and offering her joint to him again. "I'm just, like... you know what, don't even worry about it. And you're right," she smirks. Just a little. "Prewetts do not study to achieve awesomeness. Awesomeness is just, like, thrust upon us at birth or something."

Viktor smiles slightly, glad to see the Molly smirk but he's still pretty sure that something else is bothering his BFF. "Right. That's vot I thought," he said, grinning slightly as he got himself comfortable on the bench as he takes the joint from Molly, taking another drag and sighing happily as he hands it back. "So, is that all? You're just tired from studying? Because...You know you can talk to me if there's something wrong, right?"

Sober!Molly is usually pretty good at keeping her thoughts and feelings concealed even though she never shuts up. High!Molly... not so much. She looks at the floor, her eyes a tiny bit glassy. "It's, like, the stupidest thing ever. I dunno, maybe I am stupid," she shrugs. "It's like, you go all this time thinking you hate someone, and then all of a sudden you realise that actually, you totally, like, like them. But they probably totally still hate you and totally saw some stuff that they'd get the wrong impression by and everything," she mumbles, mercifully trailing off at last to take another drag of the joint.

Viktor furrows his brow, trying to figure out what Molly is saying. Okay, so she hated a guy that she now realizes she likes. Well, that makes sense. Then again, maybe it's the Gillyweed talking. "Alright. So, you like somevon that you thought you hated, yes? Huh." He strokes his goatee, looking deep in thought as he thinks this through. "Vell first of all, you're not stupid. At all. And secondly, how could anyvon possibly hate you?" He suddenly shuts up as he thinks of the only person who could ever 'hate' Molly. She couldn't be talking about Kingsley though, right? That is just...No. That's madness. She must be talking about somebody else.

Molly nods. "He thinks I'm stupid," she mutters. "And he always looks at me, like, as if I'm some whiny, annoying little kid or votever. And I know I'm not, but now I totally have to make him see that I'm not and I don't even know what to do, really. It sucks, Viktor. Stupid Kingsley, making everything all confusing and stuff," she mutters to herself, having forgotten Viktor's presence from one sentence to the next.

Viktor regrets the gillyweed now because he's starting to hear things which is unusual for him. Even when he's not sober. "Kingsley?" he repeated as he realizes that she actually did just say that, and he's not hallucinating. Well, this is a turn of events. He sort of wants to hug her right now, or make her a Bulgarian desert or something, but seeing as they're not near the kitchens right now, he'll settle for trying to figure out more of what's going on. "Didn't see that coming," he muttered, mostly to himself because he's still trying to get over the initial shock of Molly liking Mr. Douchebag. "Vell, he's crazy if he thinks you're any of those things. You're, like, the most totally awesome person I know. Kingsley is just...slow on the go or votever." He blinks. "You did say Kingsley, right? Like, as in the big, manly guy Kingsley?"

Molly crawls around on the bench a little bit until she's leaning against Viktor. She wants a hug right now, usually if she was hanging with Gideon she would just demand one, but Molly finds Viktor a more than acceptable substitute so she burrows her way under her BFF's arm and holds up the joint for him again. "Yeah, that's the one," she says vaguely, the weed making her feel completely removed from the situation all of a sudden. As if she's talking about some other Molly Prewett and her feelings. "Big, mean, good-looking guy with nice eyes that, like, glare at me because Kras grabbed my hand or votever. Like, ohmyGod, why did he have to walk past at that exact moment, you know? It's like he knows exactly when it would be the worst thing ever for him to show up, and then he just, like, does."

Viktor frowns and hugs Molly tightly, understanding that she is seriously upset about this if she's coming to him for a hug because he's figured out by now that she's the type of girl that doesn't usually like a lot of physical contact. He takes another long, and I mean long, drag of the joint before handing it back to Molly because he's still trying to take all of this in. Molly and Kingsley. Molly liking Kingsley. Molly caring what Kingsley thinks about her. Yeah, it's pretty mind blowing. He sighs and lightly rubs Molly's arm, trying to be comforting while he thinks of what to say to her. "I'm sorry, Molly," he says softly, not knowing what else to tell her because he's still a bit confused about all this considering how much time they've spent talking about sending Kingsley to Douchebag Island. "Vell, I'm sure he's bound to valk in on you doing something awesome sooner or later, considering you're usually alvays being awesome. And if I ever see him again, I could totally, like, mention how smart my study buddy, Molly, is," he said with a slight smirk because he figures that Kingsley is into smart, studying girls if Molly has been studying so much recently.

Molly's sort of only half here right now, the feeling of Viktor's hand on her arm after he hugs her is vaguely comforting but she barely registers his words. "I don't like this," she admits through a little haze of gillyweed smoke. "Like, it's usually so easy for me. I've never not been liked before, you know? Everyone likes me! Everyone! So, like, why is it that the one time I really, really like someone, he doesn't like me? And I totally don't even know what I did wrong! I was always totally friendly and polite and stuff until he told me to shut up, and then it was all bad or votever and it's stupid. Stupid," she repeats, because that's exactly how she feels lately.

"Maybe he'll come around?" he suggests with a somewhat hopeful expression, though he's not so sure of it at the moment considering the stories he's heard about Molly and Kingsley. "I mean, now that you, like, know that you like him you can try harder to make sure he alvays sees your good side. Though, I have to admit, I'm not sure how he could see your bad side because I sure don't see it. If you ask me, I don't think you have a bad side," he said with a small, yet sincere, smile. "He's bound to change his mind. He just...He hasn't been lucky enough to get to know the real Molly Prewett yet."

Molly turns her glassy stare up towards Viktor and smiles lazily. "Yeah," she says slowly. "Like, yeah. He'll come around or votever, and it'll all be good. Yeah. OhmyGod, Viktor," she groans, putting her head in her hands. "I told him he was a social ri-tard, like, a bajillion times. No wonder he hates me! I am a total fail. Like, seriously, how am I meant to flirt my way out of that one?"

"Oh...Vell, he's said some not-so-great things to you too, right? It's not like this is all your fault. From vot you've told me about him, Kingsley doesn't exactly sound like Mr. Prince Charming. If you can still like him after vot he's done to you, then I'm sure he'll be able to do the same, you know?" He smiled slightly, wondering if what any of what he was saying made any sense, or if it helped Molly feel at least a little better about her situation.

Molly is still vaguely sort of slumped against Viktor, smoking her joint and wishing that the stone wall across from them would stop staring at her and start giving her the answers to life's greatest questions. "But, like, what if what he said was all true, and everyone else is just totally too nice to say it to my face or votever. What if I'm living in some weird world where everything is totally artificial and you're all actors paid to totally bow down to me and stuff, that's why everyone loves me, and Kingsley is, like, the only person who isn't in on the conspiracy? Is that why I'm the only ginger in my family? Am I on tv?"

Viktor blinked. "But...If that's true, then vy haven't I received a paycheck yet?" he asked curiously, wondering when he signed a contract to be on some reality TV show. "Hm. I don't think that's right. I'd remember if I vos being paid to like you, vouldn't I? Unless...They used some intense memory charms or something. But I do like you. I really do," he says quickly, hoping Molly doesn't try to escape because then they would lose their high ratings for the show. "Even if I am being pai-- Oh. Hold up." He quickly brushes some hair out of her face. "There. You've gotta look your best if ve're on TV, right? Right."

Molly shrugs. "Maybe you've got, like, your own tv show too which is why you don't know and you don't get paid and stuff either. And, like, whenever we hang out, that day's episode is a crossover and they have special advertising and everything, like when Buffy and Angel visited each other after he got his own show and all, and-" she breaks off, holding incredibly still as Viktor fixes her hair for her. Her eyes widen and she stares that sort of stare in a horror movie where one B grade actor spots something terrifying over another B grade actor's shoulder. "Oh. My. God. Viktor, if I had a hair out of place on tv, Giddy would disown me. Like, for realz. And... ohholyfuck, I am so high right now. And I just said 'fuck'. And I said it again. Fuck! What if McGoogles is watching this episode!? Shit. Just. Got. Real. OhmyGod, that's it. Eurgh, I am totally, like, going to become like that chick in Big Brother who showered in her underwear," she rambles, flailing the joint around.

Ve are just soooo screwed. Seriously. Vell, I'm sure ve get a lot of views from cool people ven our shows cross-- Oh my god." Viktor's face turns white as he looks at Molly with a horrified expression. "...Do you....You don't think. No...Vot if Justina vatches this show?" he asks in horror, looking as if he might pass out from the thought of Justina watching his every move.

OhmyGod I bet our crossovers are, like, the highest rating things ever, and ohmyGod." Molly stares at Viktor, the bad horror movie acting coming back. "OH. MY. GOD. I bet Justina totally tapes every episode and, like, sits in a dark room alone watching them all for hours and hours and hours and hours." Her lower lip trembles at the thought and Molly snuggles closer to Viktor, her usual sense of physical boundaries diminished by the weed, and by the stoned-but-not-dead Mama Bearish instinct to comfort her BFF.
