Re: A Hidden Alcove
Molly does a bit of fancy hug-manipulation so that her chin is on Ted's shoulder, her arms wrapping around him to return the hug, which conveniently leaves her hands and her face free enough to steal another bite of cookie dough over Ted's shoulder. Crafty little minx. "I know. But I figured it was better to, like, leave things on good terms than to let it drag out and go bad or whatever. Anyway, I don't wanna think about it anymore. What's new with you?"

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Sneaky bitch. He pulled back and grabbed the dough again, "You've eaten so much of this now Molly that soon I'm going to put you in the oven and pull out a cookie. Give it a rest." He put it behind him far enough that she would have to actually crawl across him to get to it and he would be able to stop her. "Well I've been meeting some new people lately, like a new Ravenclaw called.. Marlene I think. And then Andromeda Black."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Molly frouts. "Actually I haven't eaten too much of it. You know why? Because every time I take a bite someone, like, steals it away from me!" She tilts her head to the side, fiddling with her hair while she chews over Ted's information and starts plotting how to get her cookie dough back. "Marlene? Huh. Don't know her. I know Andromeda Black by name, though. Is she, like, as bad as the rest of them or whatever?"

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Ted shook his head, not realizing he was scowling a little when she asked if Andromeda was bad, "No, she's great. She's really smart and actually pretty sweet." He wasn't about to tell Molly what had happened with Evan because he had spoken to Slughorn now (which Tam will PM Mya and Nikki about soon) and hopefully this was all going to be dealt with soon.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Molly blinks at the slight scowl that sets into Ted's features, a little taken aback because she's never really seen any other houses defend Slytherins before. Except for Evans and Severus Snape back in the day, but Molly knows how that panned out for Evans. "Well she sounds, like, really nice," she says, because if Ted says someone is great then Molly will take his word for it until she finds out for herself. "And you sound, like, totally sweet on her." With that, Molly gets up, walks around Ted, and picks up her cookie dough.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Ted turned around as she walked past and grabbed the cookie dough before she could get to it again. He will not let her get chubby. Then he turned to give her a look, "I'm not sure how I feel about her. Because she is amazing but we're from two COMPLETELY different worlds and I know I could get past that but I don't know if she could too..."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Molly glowers. If she keeps getting denied her cookie dough, shit is going to turn nasty. She crosses her arms and throws herself moodily back down on the stone bench, and then remembers that they're having a conversation. "But you feel, like, something about her," she points out, shrugging. "Maybe she can, you never know. Like, look at Sirius Black - he ended up in Gryffindor, so there's got to be hope for at least some of the Blacks, right?" she says, because she's trying to be helpful. She might not be as good as Lily is at this sort of thing, but her heart is in the right place. Even if her mind is still on the cookie dough.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Ted nodded, "Yeah I guess so." He grabbed some of the cookie dough and ate it himself before giving her the tub back deciding that if he was going to eat it he should give her it back before she killed him. "I mean if I ask her out the worst that can happen is her saying no..." He flopped over with his head on Molly's shoulder. "Ugh I don't like this sorta limbo time. Where you aren't dating but you want to be and it's all ughhhhhhhh"

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Molly cuddles the tub for a moment, happy to be reunited with it. She takes a mouthful of cookie dough, somewhat hampered by Ted flopping against her, and slips an arm about his waist. "I know. It, like, totally sucks. There should totally be a fast forward button for this stage so that you can skip all the sucky not-knowing part. Either that or you could just, like, ask her out and be done with it."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
"There really should be." He gave her a pouty look before sitting up again. "Do you think I should ask her out?" Ted had never felt this weird about asking a girl out, hadn't cared that much about whether or not she said yes. Hopefully that meant that the relationship could be something other than a short affair for a change. Unfortunately that did nothing to quell the butterflies in his stomach.

Molly shrugs. "Well, like, what's stopping you?" she asks around a mouthful of cookie dough, because it's all very simple in Molly's book; if you like someone, you hit on them, and if they have any taste at all they're thrilled. "Even if she says 'no', at least you have your answer and you can, like, stop stressing about it. And then you can, like, totally get to work on changing her mind because even if she comes to one of those scary inbred pureblood families, if she knows you even a little bit she won't be able to help but see how totally awesome you are."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Ted shrugged, "Nothing I guess. I mean she just ended it with her boyfriend but it's now or never I suppose." He took another piece of cookie dough and chewed on it thoughtfully. "Yeah you're right. I'll just go for it and ask her next time I see her."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Molly tilts her head to the side, considering as she has another mouthful of cookie dough. She wouldn't want to be asked out by anyone right at this moment; the sting of her breakup with Kingsley is still far too fresh in her mind and she would want time to go through all that before moving on to someone else, she thinks. But then not everyone is like that, Molly considers. "Well I guess if she was the one that ended it she wouldn't, like, be stuck nursing a broken heart or anything. So I don't see why not," she finally says, shrugging. She guesses Ted is not an idiot and wouldn't go picking a time when Andromeda was clearly upset or anything. "Do you know why she ended it with her guy?" she asks, because she's a stickybeak.

Ted isn't an idiot and can be rather considerate at times. He shrugged at her and nodded, "Yeah I do but I don't think she wants other people to know about it. Anyway," He sat up and grabbed more cookie dough, "I'm going to head off now. I'll talk to you soon." He kissed her on the cheek and got up and wandered off still holding some cookie dough.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
"Ok," Molly says, even though her curiosity is most definitely piqued by Ted's words. As much as she wants to know what Ted means when he mentions that Andromeda Black wouldn't want her personal life gossiped about, she knows enough to keep her curiosity to herself. She glances up when Ted announces his departure, smiles as he kisses her cheek, and watches him go. "Seeya Ted." She curls up with her cookie dough, finishes off what Ted has left her, and then slips out of the alcove ready to face the world again.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Again, Pansy was not there, just another note, another little box.
It wasn't mine,
but hey, we can
share it. Bring
it with you.
Don't open it
yet. Lounge. 2 pm

Draco wanted to open the box so badly but he was also intrigued and excited to see what she had planned so he pushed aside the curiosity and checked his watch. He had plenty of time to kill and assumed that she wouldn't want him in the lounge before 2 so he headed to the library to kill some time before heading to the lounge for the surprise.
Re: A Hidden Alcove
Tracey had gotten hold of some sort of alcoholic beverage. She really wasn't sure what it was. It had just been sitting about and She had only taken one drink of it so far - the taste definitely left something to be desired - and it had already made her feel all warm and tingly inside. She giggled and wished she had someone with her to share this amazing awesomeness.
[hehe...Reed should just be walking by and trip or something...Tracey is going to 'kidnap' him and drag him into the hidden alcove. Totally all her idea...she's an odd duck. <.<]

Re: A Hidden Alcove
[Hehe, Reed tripping is totally something I can make happen.]
Reed is walking along merrily, humming a happy little tune because his life was just perfect. What he didn't realize was that his boots were untied. Before he really had time to react, he went flying face first towards the ground, but put his hands out just in time so he didn't smash his face into the ground. Unfortunately the fall sent the contents of his bag flying everywhere. He sighed and sat on the ground, trying to collect all his things.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Tracey is about to take a second sip when she hears a rather loud thump and a sigh. Curious, she peeks her head out from her hiding spot and spots Reed. "Well hey there, Reed." She giggles then jumps on out of the alcove. "Here let me help you with that..." she helps Reed finish picking things up then she gets an idea. "Now you can join me! I'm gonna kidnap you." Giggling, Tracey grabs Reed's arm and drags him and his bag into the hidden alcove where she left the rather big bottle. "Look what I got a hold of! No idea what it really is but it sure does do silly things to you."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Reed is a little startled when Tracey is suddenly there. "Oh, hey Tracey! Thanks. I, uh, tripped and dropped everything." When he stood he was about to say thanks and head off again, but apparently he was being kidnapped. "Wha--Oh." He looked around the little alcove and at the bottle. "Erm, Tracey, is that alcohol?" He looked a little apprehensive.
Re: A Hidden Alcove
Tracey looked at Reed then back to the bottle...then back to Reed again. "Well, I believe it is. Want to try some?" She giggled, taking another sip of it. It made her feel a bit better now, knowing she wasn't alone. "It makes you feel all warm and bubbly inside." she giggled, holding the bottle out for Reed to try, as she sat on the floor and tugged Reed down next to her. "I just wanted to try it, you know?"

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Reed still looked a little apprehensive. He was always told that alcohol was bad and that he had to be thirty before he could have his first drink. Then again, he was a teenager and he was already discovering new things about himself. Could it really hurt to have just a taste? He would have liked to have Kras be here and share this with him, but for some reason he still wanted to do it. "Well, just one drink then." He grabbed the bottle and took a swig. "Wow! That's..actually kind of yummy. Woah, that feels weird." He felt a slight burn go down his throat and seem to fill him up, but it was a good burn. Warm, like Tracey had said. He let out a little giggle without really knowing why.
Re: A Hidden Alcove
[oh god...Inner!Kras' papa bear senses are already on alert. LOL]
Tracey giggles as Reed takes a sip and seems to like it a bit. "Isn't? Isn't?" she figures it's no big deal if they just shared the bottle since they didn't really have cups and at least they knew each other. She plucked the bottle from Reed's grasp and took another drink from it. "I like this feeling...WHEEEE!" she handed the bottle back to Reed and giggled as she flailed her arms. Yeah, poor Tracey was as much of a lightweight as they came.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
[Hahahahah! *dead* He'll have to walk by and hear them giggling at some point! Then drag Reed off and have his way with him *blinks*]
Reed was still giggling. "I don't see why people think this is a bad thing." He took another, slightly bigger drink and burped. "Oops! Excuse me" He giggled some more and started to feel all tingly. Apparently he was a lightweight too. He got serious for moment. "I see what you mean. I do wanna go WEEEEEE!"
