"He did?" She blinked. Oblivious Luna is oblivious. "The Quibbler is doing a lot better! And people this year seem a lot more interested in it. I got Cedric, the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain to say he would read it. And that Caradoc guy. And Molly Prewett too!"

"Okay, I seriously need to meet this Molly person! Everyone keeps talking about her! I feel so out of the loop. I don't like being out of the loop. I like being in the loop." He hadn't taken his eyes off her yet, but not in a creepy creeper way. "Well, I always find the Quibbler fascinating. I can't wait for you to discover the Snorkacks!"

"She's really nice and friendly! You would love her. Maybe I'll introduce you two one day," she says with a big smile, not minding that Dean hasn't looked away because at least he's not giving her the Edward Cullen Stare. "I'm glad you find it interesting! Most people think it's odd, but you never did. I hope we find Snorkacks too. That would just be...the best thing ever."

"Yeah, that'd be cool. Remus was talking about her the other day." He smiled at her again. "Oh hey! You haven't met my cat yet have you!" He looked around, because he let Giggity roam wherever he pleased. He didn't spot the purple cat anywhere and sighed.

"Giggity!?" Luna looks around as well, but frouts when she sees no kitty. "Aw. Where do you think she ran off to?" she asks curiously, really excited about one day meeting this purple cat.

"I don't know, he may be lurking. GIGGITY, HERE BOY!" He called out, then did a weird signal, somewhere between a chimpunk and a pig. He looked at Luna, "It's our secret call. Let's him know I'm close." He looked around and waited, then did the call again. About a minute later there was a flash of purple coming through some trees. "Oh! There he is!" Sure enough the purple cat came running up to Dean, jumping onto his shoulder.

"That's cool that you have a special ca--" Luna's face lights up as she sees Giggity. "He really is purple! Oh my gosh! He's sooo cute!" she exclaims as she admires Dean's cat. "I've never seen a purple cat before!"

Dean grinned. "He's one of a kind." Just like you, he added in his head. "Here, he's really friendly." He grabbed the cat of his shoulder. "Gig, this is Luna. She's one of my best friends. She wants to meet you, go say hello." He sat the cat down, who quickly ran over to Luna and began purring. "He likes you!"

Luna smiled happily and gently took Giggity in her lap so she could pet him properly. Animals usually tended to like her for some reason. "He does! I like him too! He's really sweet. You guys must make a pretty good pair," she said as she smiled up at Dean because he's one of the sweetest guys she's ever met.

"He's my pal! I got him so when I get my place after school I have a companion. See, my brother doesn't have a liking towards cats. Though he is a lot kinder to Giggity than most cats." It's the whole dogs and cats are sworn enemies thing, but he knew Remus was kind to Giggity because Dean loved the cat so much. "I honestly don't know what I'd do without the little guy. We've formed a pretty close bond."

Luna smiled and lightly scratched Giggity behind the ears. "That's nice! I've always wanted a pet like that. We never had any when I was growing up," she says with a sigh.

"You've never had a pet? Why not? We used to have this dog, but it ran away." He sighed sadly. "So, how are your classes going so far?"

Luna shrugged and continued to pet Giggity. "I don't know, actually. Maybe one day I'll get a dog or something. My classes are okay. Care of Magical creatures is really exciting as usual," she said smiling. It had always been her favorite class even if they didn't get to learn about creatures mentioned in the Quibbler. "How about yours?"

He shrugged too. "I'm really bummed I couldn't take Care of Magical Creatures. Which is silly, since I want to work with them when I'm done with school, but McGonagall said I shouldn't bother." He sighed dramatically. "And there is a ton of coursework. It's going to be hard to keep up with."

Luna frouted. "Aww. That's too bad. I didn't know you wanted to work with magical creatures. Well, are your other classes going well at least?"

He gave a noncommittal grunt. "This year is going to be murder. Luckily I have one of the biggest nerds for a brother, so he said he'd help me if I needed it. " He shrugged. "I just pray I pass my NEWTs. I can't wait to start working!"

"I bet you'll do fine! You're smart, Dean. You'll do great on all of your NEWTs. I could even help you study if you want," she said happily because she is a Ravenclaw after all.

Dean beamed at the thought of getting to spend more time with Luna. "That would be great! Thank you! I knew having a Ravenclaw friend would pay off someday." He chuckled . "Maybe we can have like a weekly get together, or more often if you'd like, and we can have ~~makeout~~ study sessions."

"That would be fun! We could meet as often as you want. I'm pretty good with helping people study," she said with a smile. "It's a Ravenclaw thing, I guess. It'd be really fun since we don't get to hang out in our common rooms where people usually study."

"I know! I wish you were in Gryff, I love hanging with you. Our common room gets a little crazy sometimes, I'm sure you'd love to witness that." He laughed. "I can Owl you, if you want? Then we can meet in the library or something? Or wherever. I like being out on the grounds too..."

"The grounds are always nice for studying! That would be great! And I like spending time with you too, Dean. It would be so much fun if we were in the same house," she said with a sigh. "But these study sessions will be so much fun! I can't wait!"

"Me either! So, anything else new with you?" He smiled at her and wished he could draw her right now, the light was hitting her perfectly right now, making her hair and eyes give off a slight glow effect.

"No. Not really. Anything with you?" she asked happily before realizing he was sort of looking at her differently. "Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked with a smile. She didn't mind it. It was just different.
