He looked down quickly. He rushed out. "Oh, sorry the sun is hitting you in a really stunning way. I was just thinking out perfect it would be to be able to sketch you right now." He looked down the whole time, but quickly glanced up when he finished talking.

"Oh." Alex kicks Luna for being oblivious at the moment and not seeing the potential Lean moment. She's not even blushing or anything! Argh. "Well, you could if you wanted to. I don't mind," she says with a sweet smile.

Inner!Dean is sad...

He glances up again. "That wouldn't be weird for you at all?" He had never drawn a willing model, he usually just tried to do it all from memory. He cursed himself for only having his lead pencils, and none of his colored ones. "I don't want you to be uncomfortable.."

Luna shrugs. She doesn't know what uncomfortable means, really. Hehe. "I don't mind. I've never seen you draw before," she says happily

Uh okay. "Granted, it won't be as brilliant since I have none of my colored tools with me. Just, sit normal." He smiled wide and pulled out his sketchpad. He positioned himself so that the sketchpad was resting on his knee. He felt a heat rise up on his neck, and realized he was nervous but excited for the chance to be able to finally get her eyes right. "Okay, ready. You don't have to sit perfectly still, feel free to talk too, just don't mind if I go into deep concentration." He smiled at her and lowered the pencil to the page, starting the outline of her hair.

Luna smiles and sits there normally. "I bet it'll be amazing! All your drawings are," she says honestly. "When did you start sketching anyway, if you don't mind me asking? You're really good at it and you do it all the time."

He couldn't help but grin like a loon at her compliment. He had just started sketching the outline of her shoulders and face when he answered. "Thank you. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. My mom told me that my birth father used to draw, so I guess it's in my blood." He was looking at her closely, taking in every detail. he was looking at her like Leo in Titanic, only it wasn't weird since she wasn't nakkie...

~~Luna pulls off her clothes so she is wearing nothing but her cork necklace.~~ "That's really cool," she says softly. "I've always been good at charms. I think I learned that from my mum. She was always coming up with new charms and spells in her free time. She was really good at it."

Dean was now slowly starting to draw the more detailed parts, like strands of hair and lines in her lips. He would be blushing as he stared at her lips, but it doesn't really show on him. "Isn't it neat how we inherit things from our parents, even if we didn't know them too well." Dean, obviously knowing that Luna's mother was deceased. He finished drawing her hair and lips, and started on her eyes. He smiled to himself, glad he was finally going to be able to get them right.

"Yeah...Neat," she said with a small smile. "I guess it's just one way to help us keep them around," she suggests as she continues sitting there, admiring the way Dean is so concentrated on his work as he draws.

Dean was getting close to finishing his drawing, he just had some final touches to add. He smiled every time he looked up at her. He was definitely developing a crush and the only person he could tell was Remus, he made a mental note to find him asap. He sat in silence as he finished his sketch, wanting to make sure it was perfect. He always had trouble drawing people for some reason, so he was being extra picky right now. After about 5 minutes of silence he sat up straighter to examine his work. He was pretty satisfied, but still wished it was in color. "Okay. hopefully you like it." He was extremely nervous as he slid the sketchpad towards her.

[Something like the first one, only actually looking like Luna..and with the second ones eyes, I like those better they're more....Lunaish..]

[*squeals* AHHH! I LOVE ITTTT!]

Luna wordlessly took the drawing and looked examined it, her face lighting up as her eyes traced all the details Dean had put into his work. "Dean...It's perfect. This is just- It's beautiful, Dean," she says in awe, her eyes lingering on the picture a few moments longer before she eventually looks up to smile at Dean.

Dean smiles as she examines it. "You really like it? You can keep it if you'd like." He smiles SHEEPisly. "You're very easy to draw. Wish everything was like you. Like Hogwarts." He glanced up at the impossible castle then back to her.

Luna's grin widens. "Really!? I can keep it!? Thanks, Dean," she says happily as she wraps her arms around Dean's neck to hug him. "And I'm sure you'll be able to draw the castle one day. You can do anything, I know you can." She smiles confidently as she pulls away from the hug.

He closes his eyes ans hugs her back. "Thanks Luna, you really make me believe I can do it. Here, let me rip that out for you." He took back the sketchpad and carefully tore out the page. "Actually, if you want, I can frame this for you. Or you can take it now, if you want." He shrugged, hoping he seemed nonchalant.

"Frame it? That's nice of you. Sure. I'd like that," she says smiling. "And I know you can really do it. You'll get it one of these days." She smiles and casts one glance up at the castle. She knew Dean would get it one day, even if he wasn't always so sure of it.

He smiles again. "Thank you. And I'm glad you like the picture. I was really nervous, I've never drawn someone who was right in front of me. It's scarier than I thought." He laughed lightly.

"I love it!" She smiles at him again, loving that she has a such an awesome friend like Dean. "I scare you?" she asked teasingly, not smirking because Luna doesn't smirk.

"No! You don't scare me! I was just worried you wouldn't like it. Or you'd find something wrong with it and throw back at my face." He laughed. "When you're used to drawing landscapes, it's nerve wrecking drawing something that has emotions."

"I would never do that. And I highly doubt you could draw anything that has something wrong with it. You're extremely talented, Dean," she says with a big smile.

He wanted to jump and do a heel click. "Thanks! And if you're so good at Charms, I'll have to see that someday. And most likely get shown up." He was alright at charms, but not 100% perfect.

"I'd love to show you my charms one day!" Luna does not notice the double meaning here. Nope. "I'm nothing like my mum, but I do think it's my best class after Magical Creatures."

Dean does notice the double meaning in this and smiles. "I'm sure you're just as brilliant as your mother! Do you know what creatures you are planning on studying this year? I'm still bummed I'm missing out."

"We learn about Thestrals this year! My favorite magical creature!" she exclaims excitedly. "I already know a lot about them, but it'll be really excited to be in a class and learn more about them from Hagrid.

"Oooh, Lucky! They fascinate me too! I can't see them though. I've heard they are sort of creepy looking, is that true?" He knew Neville could see them too, and wondered why he never asked him about that.
