"What kind of dressing is on it though." She looked at the food on the fork a little apprehensively.

He glared at her. "Eat it." That was all he said. He wasn't going to let her wiggle out of this.

She stared at him for a minute straight. Slowly, she raised the fork to her mouth and took a bite. She chewed slowly, the salad feeling dry and coarse in her mouth. She winced slightly and swallowed. She dropped the fork back down. "Happy?"

Sorry I took so long. I made a salad.....but then I didn't want to eat it after. but yeah >.> Thats why i was gone.

He stared at her. "No." He said shaking his head as he put another bite on the fork and handed it to her.

This was not going to be easy for her. She took the fork again and stared at for a moment before putting it in her mouth. She chewed again, slowly and wincing. She swallowed when all she wanted to do was spit it out. She handed the fork back to him. "How much more of this?" She wanted to leave, she didn't like being here.

He stared at her. "You....are going to eat a full meal Millicent." He said, still staring at her as he picked up the container of salad and held it out in front of her.

She looked at him, terrified. "Don't you think we should take this slow?" She bit her lip.

She took a deep breath and grabbed the salad from Marcus. She skewered some lettuce on the fork and popped it into her mouth, chewing and swallowing before she could even taste it. "Why are you doing this? Really?"

"Because Millicent. You're my best...friend..and I can't just let you kill your body. No..Not happening." He said, watching her to make sure she ate.

Her heart sank when he put a little emphasis on the word 'friend'. She nodded and took another bite. "Well. Thank you, I guess. Can..can you just. Talk about something. You know, to distract me?"

"Well what do you want me to talk about? Would you like me to talk to you about Quidditch? Sex? Girls?" He asked blinking at her.

She rolled her eyes. "I don't care what you talk about really. Just keep me distracted." She stuck the fork back into the salad and took a bite.

He sighed and thought for a moment. "Okay. Here I go. I'll tell you a story." he said, turning so he was facing her. "There were two muffins, they were in an oven and one muffin said to the other "oh boy it's hot in here" and the other muffin said "oh boy, a talking muffin"" He said and grinned at her. "I like that story. It's happy because the muffins can talk."

She stared at him. "What a lovely story...I think." She took another bite. "Where did you hear that from?"

~~"Rachel....On skype."~~He shrugged. "Don't remember." He said and reached over and took a bite of the salad. MMM that shit was good. It had some chicken in there too. Protein. MMMM. "Eat the chicken." He demanded. "Its good." He leaned back on his hands. "Hmmm, Want another story?"

She had been avoiding the chicken at this point and groaned. "This is your salad. You should be eating it. And sure, I'd love another story."

"Just eat it and shuddup." He said, taking another bite of the salad because he was hungry. "There was once a small boy who had lots of friends but then his parents decided that it was time to move. He cried and cried, but to no avail. At his new home he had no friends, and all of the kids were mean to him and hated him. Then he grew up and he was rich and he found the mean bullies, and they were poor. Then he yelled a word so cool and amazing that they never forgot it. SHAFTED!" He said and cracked up laughing even though that story wasn't funny at all.

She looked at him confused again. "What's the point of that story? I don't get it." She took another bite, with a piece of chicken on it. She looked down and could have sworn she saw a roll of fat. She set the salad down. "I'm full. Can I stop?"

"I don't even know." He said and shrugged. "Eat more. You think you're full. But you're not really full." He said and pointed. "Eat."

"I don't want to over do it. I don't want to get sick." She stared at him. "I think that would be counter productive if I got sick. Don't you agree?"

He sighed. "Okay. You can stop." He said, and took the salad and began to finish it off because it is good.

She reached over and placed her hand on his knee. "Thank you Marcus. I've never had someone that actually cared about what happens to me. You're a really great, " She nearly choked on the word, "friend." She smiled at him.

He smiled at her and shrugged. Downing another huge bite of salad. "Yeah, well. I guess I'm just awesome." He said with a smirk. "You want a drink?"

She frowned, of course he wouldn't hear the pain in her voice when she referred to him as a friend. She sighed, "Do you have water?" She didn't mind drinking water, there was nothing in it after all.
