His jaw dropped open slightly as he realized what he had just said. "Mi-Millicent, look. My little cousin had a--a problem." he said, not wanting to use a wrong word and upset her. "She wasn't eating enough, or really at all. She started looking paler, she got dark circles under her eyes all the time, she was always light headed, and her hands were always freezing." He said, watching her expression. "I didn't think anything of it until she ended up in St. Mungo's." He said, watching her carefully.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know...Thank you for your concern, but I'm fine." She crossed her arms over her chest and looked out at the lake again.

He moved his hand to her face and turned it so she had to look at him. "When was the last time you really had a FULL meal Millicent?" He said, staring at her. "Tell me the truth. Please."

"I-" She was about to lie, but she was sick of lying to him. Especially when he seemed to care so much for her. There was genuine fear in her eyes when she spoke. "I don't know."

He took a deep breath when he heard her words. He wasn't going to freak out on her. He had to act calm about this so she doesn't freak out. He looked over to the picnic basket with his eyes. "Then I suggest you sit back down." He said as calmly as he could.

She spoke in barely more than a whisper. "I-I can't." She looked down at her feet.

He buried his face in his hands and let out a frustrated groan. Did she not just hear what he told her? Was she not listening? "Millicent. You--You have to Millicent." He said, removing his hands to look at her.

Tears started coming to her eyes, and she glared at him. "I can't! I've worked too hard!"

"Millicent. You have to! You've worked too hard what? You've worked hard trying to kill yourself?!" He asked, now glaring at her and angry.

She shook her head. "You didn't know me before Marcus. No one knew me. No one saw me. I'm not going to go back to that! I won't!" Angry tears were now streaming down her face.

"No, Please don't. Please don't do this Millicent." he said, looking away from her. He couldn't watch her cry, he just couldn't. "Yeah, well if you continue these ways, you're going to end up worse than before....You'll end up in St. Mungos."

"I don't know-" She was cut off by a small sob. She tried wiping the tears away, but more kept coming. "I don't know how." She sniffled.

"Millicent..." he said, stepping closer to her. "Just...just relax. Okay? Look....you can fix this. You can. I know you can. You just need to TRY Millicent. You need to want to try." he said, placing his hands lightly on her shoulders.

She looked up at him through the tears in her eyes. "What if I don't want to. I can't go back to that Marcus. You don't understand."

"Millicent, you need to fix this. You're not going to go back the way you used to be." Even though he didn't even know what she used to be. "You...You need to fix this. You can and you HAVE to Millicent."

"Yes, you can do it Millicent. And I'll--I'll help you did. I'll make you do it!" He said a bit dramatically. "I will shove food down your throat if I have to!" He said, again being over dramatic.

She smiled a tearful smile. It meant more than she could say, him wanting to help her. "I. Thank you, but. I don't want to stress you out. I.. I..I'm sorry."

He glared at her. "Well if you don't do it yourself. I'm helping you. I'm forcing you too Millicent." he said, still glaring into her eyes. "You don't have a choice. So are you going to do it yourself? Or do I need to force you to?"

She looked at him pleadingly. "I..I need you." She hoped he wouldn't figured out the double meaning in those words.

He tugged on her hand. "Sit down." He said, not giving her a choice as he pulled her down onto the ground with him.

She practically fell to the ground next to him. She knew what was coming, and was terrified. She looked away, and tried to wipe away the leftover tears on her face. Her eyes locked onto his, but she didn't know what to do. "I..don't know...if I can.."

He grabbed a fork and stuck it into the salad. Getting a huge hunk of it on there. He held it out to her, watching her. "You can Millicent."

She reached her hand out and grabbed the fork shakily. She looked at him uncertainly. "Just. What's all in this?" She didn't take the bite yet.
