"We'll totally shake on it sometime, Gid. Sorry Viktor, but we have, like, Prewett Handshake Protocol, you know? Top secret stuff, highly classified and all that - we totally haven't even let Fabian and Alice in on most of this stuff," she shrugs. Then she starts to giggle. "Hey, I'm, like, totally not that insane! I think I'm the sanest of all of us! Like, I might be tempted to say Fabian is pretty sane, but he totally shared a womb with you for nine months and, like, nobody gets out of that unscathed, I think. I don't even know WHAT happened to Alice. Must totally be the hair. Whatever, it's all good."

"I get it. I vouldn't vant to intrude on some big, classified secret." Viktor chuckles. "And honestly, I don't think I vould like you guys as much if you vere sane. Things definitely vouldn't be as entertaining," he says with a grin. "And I still have to meet Alice, though I doubt she can be any cooler than you two."

"You? The sanest?" Gideon thinks about that small but significant fact. "Actually, you're probably right about that. And I like to think I'm merely slightly insane, thank you very much. As for Alice, don't even get me started. I have no idea how that happened. Maybe we only got moderate doses of insanity, and the rest went to Alice because it was all leftover for the youngest child. I don't know." He shrugs. "And you have that right - we are quite the entertainment."

Molly tilts her head to the side and twirls a strand of hair around her fingers. "Huh. Or maybe it's, like, from all the times we dropped her on her head as a baby, you think? I'm pretty sure you and Fay used to, like, pretend she was a quaffle or whatever. Hey, Viktor - is that why you don't have any siblings? Because you couldn't be trusted not to use them as quidditch supplies?" she wonders aloud. "Oh, and for the record - it's totally not even possible to be cooler than Gid and me," she confirms proudly.

Viktor blinks. That might actually explain why he doesn't have any siblings. Oops. "Huh. That could very vell be possible, to be honest. I never thought about that before. But I'm a seeker! Vot am I going to do? Play tag vith them? I mean, if I vos a beater then that vould make sense. My parents vouldn't let me have a beater's club until I vos ten, and I didn't use it much anyvay because I vos too busy vith the snitch they gave me," he said with a grin, thinking of his second birthday when he got a snitch along with his very first broomstick...Even if it was just a toy one.

Gideon grinned. "Looks like the Prewetts and the Krums have more in common than we would have thought! But you still managed to get a Beater's bat at ten? I never owned one - then again, I use pretty much whatever I can as a Beater's bat; books, a stick, one of Fabian's shoes..." He trails off, grinning. "But anyway, I should probably make tracks. I will see you guys later, yeah?" He says, standing and waving a little as he heads off into cyberspace.

Viktor is here at the lake, waiting for Remus to show up for their date because he left him a note in the dorm. Yep. He's not wearing his favorite red jacket because it's off at the cleaners. He's not like one of those people who has a lucky item of clothing and never washes it.

Remus would never be one of those people who has a lucky item of clothing that they never wash. He likes things too clean for that. Mhmm. He got Viktor's note and headed down to the lake. So now he's here too and he's smiling because, even though he's not in the habit of showing when he's really happy and excited for something, he can't really help it right now since he was really looking forward to this date. He totally doesn't check Viktor out when he gets there...nah, he does. He can't help it, I mean, honestly, look at the guy. Yummy. *nods* "Hi, Viktor!"

Aww. Viktor wants to drag Remus off to someplace private and snuggle with him, but he won't. They have important business to attend to. "Hey, Remus," he says as he gives him a hug. "You look really nice," he says as he checks Remus out. He likes. A lot.

"Oh...Vell, you see, I have a thing for ducks, so ve're going to be feeding the ducks tonight," he said with a grin, not caring if Remus thinks he's crazy because, well, the man loves ducks. Now...He's not sure what to do. He'd love to take Remus' hand and hold it, but then people might see and Viktor isn't sure that Remus wants that. So here they are...Right. Viktor pulls out a bag of bread and hands it to Remus. "Sound like a plan? Or are you regretting asking me on a date already?"

Remus has never fed ducks before. Sadly. But now he'll get too. Yay! "I've never done that before. Sounds like a great plan." he smiles, even though he's now slightly dying inside because animals in general don't like him. Especially cats. But yeah, in general, animals just don't like him. It must be because they can sense he's a werewolf. Dogs love him though. Now he's just nervous that the ducks will all swim away or attack him - which has happened before. Not pleasant. He wants this to go well though so he'll just hope for the best. "And I definitely don't regret asking you on a date, Viktor." he adds quietly, because he was most definitely looking forward to this. He sort of wanted to take Viktor's hand too..but he was too afraid someone would see and then people would know. He wasn't ready for people too know, especially Sirius. He was really nervous that Sirius would find out and then he'd respond poorly to it. Maybe if there was no one around...then maybe later he would try...but he didn't want to look around right now to see if there was anyone else about.

Viktor grins at Remus' answer and hands him a slice of bread for the duckies because they love bread. "Okay then," he says happily as he walks with Remus towards the lake. This date is awesome. If anyone mocks it, Viktor will set the ducks on you. Yep. So they're at the shore by the lake and Viktor sits down, patting the ground next to him for Remus to join and hoping Kiora will show up so Remus can meet her.

This date is so freaking awesome that Amethyst is going to suggest going to do that with Blain. *nods* And if he laughs well...then I'll just tell him that I'm taking Luna because she's awesome and understands the awesomeness of feeding ducks. Remus happily follows Viktor over to the shore by the lake and sits down next to him, still nervously worrying about whether he's going to get attacked by angry ducks or something. "So...the ducks don't...attack you or anything do they?" he asked, sadly unable to keep the slight nervousness from his voice. He remembers trying to feed seagulls that one time at the beach with Dean. Yeah. Not a good idea. Between the combination of them being scared of him and them also wanting the bread...well, it wasn't a pleasant experience to say the least.

Well, Blain will be sorry when Amethyst and Luna have an awesome duck feeding date and he's left at home alone like a sad puppy dog. Yep. "Attack me? Nope. For some reason, ducks just really like me," he says with a shrug. "I actually have a pet duck instead of an owl, so hopefully she'll show up. I sort of let her do her own thing, so she spends a lot of time at the lake," he says as he starts feeding a few of the ducks that came over to see ~~their daddy~~ what was going on.

"Well...maybe I should have told you that animals in general don't like me." Remus replies, watching a few of the ducks that had come over to see ~~their daddy and friend~~ them. He tentatively threw some bread to the ducks, hoping they'd just take the bread and not come after him quacking real loudly. "Wait, you have a pet duck? That's neat. I'd love to meet her." As long as she doesn't attack me either, thanks.

"Thanks." Remus laughs lightly, trying to feel better about the attacking animal thing now that he knows Viktor will protect him. He's still worried though because that's what Remus does. He worries. And he totally didn't let out a slight squeak when that duck eats out of Viktor's hand. WHAT IF IT HAD BITTEN HIS HAND OFF? Haha, oh Remus. He's really hoping that Viktor's right about his pet duck - that she really is sweet and friendly.

Viktor smirks slightly because he thinks Remus is adorable, and he's sure he'll be fine once he meets Kiora because she is just the sweetest duck of all time. And then she finally shows up and waddles on out of the water, and Viktor greams because he loves his pet duck. "Hey, Kiora," he says softly as she waddles over and gently takes a piece of bread from his hand, nomming on it before quacking at him happily. "Remus, this is my duck, Kiora," he introduces with a grin because he's glad that Remus gets to meet his ~~family~~ duck.

Yeah...Inner!Remus cries a little because he still finds it awesome that Viktor named his pet duck Kiora.

Remus watches the duck waddle out of the water to come eat out of Viktor's hand. He smiles when Viktor introduces the duck as his pet, Kiora, and wonders if he should, like, wave to it or something. Well, just saying hi is always good. Haha. "She's adorable. Nice to meet you, Kiora." he tentatively holds a piece of bread out for Kiora, hoping she's as sweet and nice as Viktor says she is, cause he doesn't want to get attacked. Silly Remus.

Viktor grins as Kiora gently takes the piece of bread from Remus and noms on it happily, quacking as she finishes and hopping onto Viktor's lap to snuggle. "See? Sweetest bird you'll ever meet," he says as he lightly strokes Kiora's back. "And I'm pretty sure she likes you," he adds as he watches Kiora looking at Remus. Not in a creepy way, just looking because she's a curious duck.
