She closed her eyes. That stung. "So. Last night was nothing?" She nodded slowly, wanting to understand why he would ask her to stay in his dorm even if nothing happened.

She took a deep breath. "Friends don't do that! I saw the way you looked at me a couple times last night. And you obviously know I'm attracted to you. I know you are attracted to me, but for some reason you won't admit it."

If this is some sort of sick joke, just stop it now!" She was shouting. She had never shouted at anyone like this before.

"What?! What would be a joke?!" He asked, stepping towards her. "You think I'm being your friend as a joke? Why would I even do that? That's just stupid." He says shaking his head. "And sorry if you don't understand me or whatever." he said, throwing his hands up to be dramatic. "I'm not trying to confuse you."

He just glared at her, he glared at her like the way Abby glared at Mike during the Ugly Truth when they were on the hot air balloon and she realized he just said he loved her. He didn't say anything, because he refused to mark her words, he knew they would probably be true one day, but he refused to believe it right now. They were...just friends.

She didn't really know why, but her eyes filled with tears. She wasn't sure if he was lying, or if he truly didn't want her. She was afraid to speak, not wanting to cry in front of him. She bit her lip and looked down at her feet.
