"Well, I'd like you to go. I didn't get to see you at the last party. That way, you could meet all my friends too! And you can introduce me to any of your friends that I don't know. We can all makes new friends!" Why was he being so weird? Maybe he thought if he had a little liquid courage, in the form of alcohol, he would maybe be able to ask Luna on a date.

Luna smiled, thinking that maybe she might just go to this one. Maybe. "That would be fun. I'll...Think about it," she says hesitantly, wanting to talk to Hermione about it first. "I like making new friends. And I'd really like to meet Seamus and Neville sometime soon, since you mention them a lot."

"They are the best!!" he was practically bouncing when he realized he probably looked like a huge dork. "I mean..They're cool. Neville is a little too obsessed with plants, and I honestly don't think he'd go. He doesn't like parties much. Seamus is Irish, so he of course loves parties." He nodded.

Luna giggles. "Neville seems more my type, but I'm sure if I went to a party with a friend like you it wouldn't be so bad. Seamus seems...Loud," she says, finding that this is a very good adjective for Dean's friend.

Dean didn't like her saying Neville was more her type. Nope nope nope. He did not like it at all. He cleared his throat. "Yeah. Seamus. Loud." He nodded slowly then realized he shouldn't be acting so weird. "Oh. Well..If you..want to..you..I mean, we could go together. As..you know, friends." He stumbled over all of his words. Smooth.

Luna didn't mean it like that. She just means that she'd like Neville more than Seamus. Dean will always be her favorite of the diamond trio. Yep yep. "Um..." She thinks for a moment, fiddling with her cork necklace nervously as she wonders what to do. Sigh. Poor girl is so dependent on Hermione. "Well...I...Alright," she says hesitantly. Maybe Hermione could join. "Just...I might not stay the entire time if that's alright? I heard about the last dance...And how it got a bit out of control near the end," she says, thinking about the rumors she had heard about Viktor, Rad, and Sirius.

He grinned like a loon. "Really?? You'll come with me? " He was like an excited little puppy. "I promise you'll have fun! I'll make sure of it! You can stay as long as you'd like! I must have missed whatever happened at the last party. Don't know how, those guys are kind of hard to miss..."

"Okay then!" She smiles, feeling pretty excited about this, though she's not sure what she'll wear because she heard that a costume is required. "I'm sure it's going to be lots of fun," she says happily, glad to see that she's made her best friend so happy.

He nodded. "I can help you with the costume too if you want. Unless you want one of your girl friends to help with that." He nodded, thinking that was probably a better option but he was still willing to help if she wanted him too. "Or, if you want to do matching costumes, we could!" his eyes lit up.

Luna wants to be Lady Gaga, her favorite singer of all time. OF ALL TIME! "Er- I think I have an idea for my costume. It's a surprise though, so you're going to have to wait until the party," she says with what almost looks like a smirk because Luna Lovegood is not a smirker.

Luna did not see them and is extremely curious now. "It has!" She smiles and pulls her bag over, not even thinking about the studying they're supposed to be doing right about now. She takes out a copy of the newest edition of the Quibbler and hands it over to Dean. "Here you go," she says happily, liking that she has friends that actually enjoy reading the articles in the Quibbler.

I'll get it back to you real soon. Hey!" A thought just struck him. "If your dad ever needs any illustrations done, I'd be happy and able to help! He wouldn't have to pay me or anything like that.."

He chuckled. "Wouldn't that be nice. Mum thinks it's a waste of time. Thinks I should focus on...I don't know..becoming the next great Minster of Magic." He laughed loudly, that thought was just too hilarious. "Basically she wants me to become all serious and sit behind a boring desk for the rest of my life." He sighed dramatically.

"Me too! I plan to work with animals when I'm done here. I was thinking of doing the traditional, tour of the world thing first. Give me more time to really decide what I want to do." He nodded. "Plus, I want to take my mum to Paris."
