Re: The Quidditch Pitch
"Well, if you're sure then," she said, passing over her broom, which was unbelievably pathetic in comparison, to Sirius. She was pleased to realize she wasn't the only one fed up with Cormac's comments, yet apparently Cormac really had more in store. A date? He wasn't serious. There was no way she was going to go on a date with him. "No," she said, giving him an irritated look. "That is so not even up for any sort of consideration. Why don't you make a date with your hand instead and just wank it out, because that is the only action you'll be getting."

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Sirius let out a barking laugh, thoroughly impressed with Ginny's sassy and feisty personality, rather amused, and turned on, too, for that matter. "You know, I think I like you, Ginny," he said with a smirk, mounting her broom and kicking off, shocked at first at the difference in flying a broom that was far from top of the line. "How about something a little more reasonable, eh?"

"What Ginevra? Afraid you're going to lose?" Cormac winked. "If you're so convinced that you're going to win you won't mind a little wager on my part." Cormac turned towards Sirius, "If you win, I'll leave you alone about a date Ginevra and you can go out with your boyfriend over here."

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
EVERYONE IS CALLING HER A WHORE!
I am not amused, for it is so not true.
And now Ginny is even less amused by this entire situation. All she came out to do was check the weather conditions, but here was her dating life being bet on. Awesome. "You're unbelievable," she said, shooting Cormac a look of complete irritation. "If there is absolutely no way to avoid this...then fine. Oh, and he is not my boyfriend," she added, swinging her leg over the firebolt and then taking off to do a lap around the pitch, trying to get used to the feel of the broom.

"Not in the least. I hardly know her, though that's certainly a pity. Any girl who can handle her own like you can is worth knowing, in my books," Sirius mutters, doing a lap as well before coming back in front of the hoops. "Let's play."

"I know I'm unbelievable Ginevra, no need to remind me." Cormac winked. He flew up to the center ring and turned to his two acquaintances, "Who has first shot?"

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Ginny flew back near the hoops, then took the Quaffle from where Cormac had it. "Right. Definitely and unbelievably, narcissistic," she muttered. She flew away from the him, deciding to start as though she was in the middle of the pitch. It was always the best place to start to get some momentum. She then shot towards the hoops, throwing the Quaffle with complete force towards the left hoop.

[Sounds good!]
Sirius just hung out and waited for the result, I suppose, totally checking out Ginny on that broom. Mmm.

[Coin says it's a miss.]
Cormac watched as Ginny shot down the pitch on the Firebolt. Wow, she was going fast. He watched her every move. He noticed that she was going to the left. He quickly swerved over to the hooped and smacked the quaffle down. "Oh c'mon Ginevra. I know you're desperate for a date with me but no need to make it so obvious!" Cormac flew back to the middle hoop ready for the next shot.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
[*sniffs and hates coin tosses* OH WELL. And that is totally fine <3]
Well, it was quite unfortunate that Cormac seemed to be a rather skilled Keeper. What if she lost? What if she had to go on a date with him?! She'd rather spend a day with Umbridge than do that. "Bugger," she sighed when he blocked it. "Alright Sirius, your turn."

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Sirius groans when Ginny misses, but doesn't hold it against her-- unfortunately, it had been a good save. Sirius tosses the quaffle between his hands, keen eyes watching the way Cormac flies, and debating whether or not to feint. He circles the hoops for a moment then spikes it hard at the left hoop.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
[Coin toss says no]
Cormac dived for the left hoop at Sirius went to spike it. He kicked the ball just before it went in. Cormac smiled. This was fun. He hadn't had a good challenge in a while. "Nice shot Sirius, mate. Close. But close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades." He'd heard his Uncle use that expression once. It was some muggle expression. "I believe it's your shot Ginevra."

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
This wasn't looking good at all. Cormac was cocky...and pretty good. Not a good mix. She nearly growled when he used her full name, for it was really starting to bother her. Taking the Quaffle, she waited a moment, trying to analyze what the best shot would be. She then took off towards the hoops and acted as though she was aiming for the right one, but threw it at the middle one instead.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Cormac was laughing at this point. "Looks like you and I will be going on a little date Ginevra." Cormac watched her as she zoomed down the pitch, she was obviously going for the right one. Cormac casually flew to the right ring and turned to get ready to block. Just as he turned the quaffle zoomed through the middle hoop. He got very upset, it should have never gone in. "I let you have that one Ginevra." he lied.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
She let out a sigh of relief, pleased that it had gone into the hoop. "This isn't looking good," she sighed to Sirius, hoping that his shot went in. The last thing that she wanted was to have to spend unnecessary time with Cormac. "Well thanks for letting me have it," she said to Cormac, rolling her eyes and then waiting for Sirius to shoot.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Sirius groans irritably at Cormac's block, but whoops when Ginny scores, and flashes her a brilliant smile. Ignoring Cormac's arrogant comment, he high fives her before taking the quaffle. "Nice shot! Let's see if I can beat it," he says, then takes the shot, using enough force to at least give Cormac a nasty bruise if he blocks it.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Cormac went to save the quaffle again. He dived for it just as it reached the hoop. He missed it by mere millimeters! Fuck! He thought to himself. This is way too close! He collected the quaffle and threw it between his hands. "Nice shot Sirius! Well executed! You just might want to watch your flying a bit. You're leaning a bit to the net that you're shooting at." Cormac huffed. "I only noticed your twitch a moment too late. But, even the best keeper in the world can't save every shot!" Cormac passed the ball to Ginny. Game winning shot. The difference between Cormac's balls bing hexxed off and him going on a date with Ginny.
