Re: The Quidditch Pitch
James really wasn’t sure what to do now. First off, he felt like an idiot. He just went out and declared this huge thing that clearly shocked her. Second, she didn’t even really hear him. He figured that he ought to fly to the ground just in case she fell of his broom from the shock. Once he landed, he waited until she got off, then placed the broom on the ground and began to pace. James tended to do this when he was nervous, such as right now. He was very nervous. He hadn’t really meant to say it, but now that it was out, there was no way he could avoid it. “I said…well…” he began, ruffling his hair because he felt awkward as fuck right now. “I’m falling for you and I’m really sorry for just springing this on you because it’s been on my mind for a while now, ever since you got hurt, and it just slipped out and I never meant for it to because I know it’s kind of still rather early on and you probably don’t even feel the same, which is totally fine, and I really don’t mind if you don’t feel the same and won’t hate you or anything,” he rambled. He did that too when he was nervous.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Parvati let out a deep breath as they landed on the ground. Swinging her leg off the broom and steeping away slightly as he got off and set it down. She watched him intently as he paced back and forth explaing what he just said. When he stopped talking she stepped over to him and grabbed his hand lightly in hers to stop him from the pacing that he was doing. She just stared at him for a few seconds, trying to think of the best way to word what she was about to say. "Well." She said looking up at him. "I don't have to worry about you hating me at all becuase I think I feel the same way." She said blinking at him a few times to see his reaction before looking down at their hands. "I don't really know though. I've never told someone or had someone tell me that they were falling in love with me so I don't really know what it's supposed to feel like." She said, still looking down at their hands. "I mean, I know I like you a lot and I tend to think about you pretty much all the time and I always try to bring you up casually in conversation with other people and if anyone ever says anything bad about you it makes me angry and it makes me want to yell at them and hurt them..." She said all very quickly while still looking down at their hands.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
He found it rather helpful and reassuring when she took his hand. It was a good thing he didn’t scare her away, though he found himself anxious. Just when he was about to tell her that she could run away from him if she wanted to, she said she thought she felt the same. That…was the biggest relief he had ever heard. Perhaps he didn’t embarrass himself or ruin their relationship after all. He knew exactly what she meant when she started to ramble and nodded his head in response. It was then that he realized that she could not see him nodding. Well shoot. She was still staring down. He used his free hand to lift her chin and force eye contact. “I’m sorry for springing this on you though. I really am. Let’s just…I want things to be natural between us. I don’t want to keep things hidden from you.”

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Parvati looked up at him when he lifted her chin, a small smile crossing her lips at his words. "No.." She said shaking her head. "Don't apologize." She said with a small smile. "I'm glad you did say it." She said stepping closer to him. "Because if you had never said it then I never would have really realized it." She said as she leaned up towards him and pressed her lips lightly to his, still holding his hand in hers as she gently intertwined their fingers. She pulled her lips away from his after a moment, a small smile still on her lips. "And I agree." She added on. "I want to be completely honest with you." She said with a nod. "About everything." She said and omg inner!Parvati is now thinking dirty thoughts. Maybe I shouldn't have said everything. Omg the thoughts omg omg omg get them out of my head.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Dom is rather confused as to why Parvati is thinking dirty thoughts. Does you mean in regards to her past sexual encounters? Because that is all that Dom is now thinking of. Anyway, James is just massively relieved now about everything, so he's beaming and happy and feeling like the luckiest guy ever right now. "Thank Merlin," he said, letting out a small sigh. "And yes, honesty is definitely important." He leaned his head down, unable to help himself from placing another gentle kiss on her lips. "I just...everything about this feels right," he said with a small shrug.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Nev honestly can't remember what Inner!Parv was thinking when that last post was typed up and that worries Nev a little bit because it was just last night and I can not remember it at all. Well. I should get my memory checked out in the future I guess. Parvati smiled at him as he thanked Merlin, he was so cute sometimes it just made her want to kiss him. And then, as if James had read her mind he kissed her. She smiled and kissed him back lightly and nodded in agreement. "It does." She agreed with him with a smile. Her relationship with James was definitely a lot different than any other relationship she had ever been in. She just felt different when she was around him, a good different.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
"Alright, well I'm glad we're in agreement then," he said with a grin. "Now, I'm sure you don't want to stand here in the cold anymore. What else would you like to do?" he asked. "I told you that we'll do whatever it is that you'd like." James really isn't sure what to suggest, because most of the things he would be up for, aren't necessarily things she would like. So, Parvati is going to have to be creative and come up with something fun to do.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Parvati is now really curious as to what James thinks Parvati wouldn't like that he would be up for. Like, she really wants to know and I kind of wish he would have said that out loud so she could ask and not be sitting her being all curious and stuff. Parvati pursed her lips slightly in thought. "Hmm, I never really thought of what we could do after going to the kitchens and coming out here." She said thinking. "We could have a water balloon fight." Neville just looked up fun things to do on a date because her mind is blank and that was number one."We could put body oil on each other." She suggested. "We could take a shower together." Sorry. I had to write out all of those suggestions because horny inner!Parvati made me. "Do you want to go for a walk around the castle?" She asked him a small smile because right now no non-sexual thoughts are really going through Nev's head. Oh horny characters..you should all go away.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
It was more of hobbies that James has that he figured she wouldn't really be interested in. It wasn't anything bad, promise. Dom just really did not feel like coming up with a list of things that James likes to do right now. "I could totally give you a massage right now with body oil and it'll be amazing and sensual and sexy, but we won't have sex because we are not quite ready for that." James figured that a walk sounded good, for they could always come up with something to do later. "Sure!" he said happily, carrying his broom in one hand and then taking her hand in the other. "We could go up to the Room of Requirement," he suggest with a small shrug.

Parvati smiled at him and intertwined their fingers happily. Her smiled faltered slightly when he said they could go up to the Room of Requirement. She was sort of planning on going up there but she was hoping that James was one of that many kids at Hogwarts that didn't know what the Room of Requirements was and then she could surprise him and be all like tada but apparently not. "Yeah." She said nodding. "I love the Room of Requirement." She smiled at him and asked. "Do you need to go put your broom away somewhere?" She assumed he had a specific place that he put it in and that he didn't just carry it around.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Oh, James is sorry for knowing about the room. See, his father had passed down the Marauder's Map to him, so of course he knew all the awesome places around the castle. Sorry for bursting Parvati's bubble. He was pleased to hear that she liked the Room of Requirement. "Oh," he said, looking down at his broom. "Well, I keep it up in my dorm. I can just carry it though," he said with a shrug. "It don't really want to go all the way to the tower. It's not as if it's heavy or anything either." He then led her to the room of requirement. WOO.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
[Yes ... I'm EXTREMELY bored]
Seamus made his was out of the locker room with one of the school's brooms in hand. Since he hadn't made the Gryffindor Quidditch team, he hadn't had much time to fly. He stopped short in the middle of the field and took a good look around. The weather was perfect; there was a light breeze that rustled the evenly cut grass around him and the setting sun shone brightly in the distance, dyeing the sky with brilliant yellow, red, and purple colors. Carefully, he mounted the old Cleansweep and pushed off the ground. A burst of adrenaline shot through him, and he zoomed around the goals and stands, imagining the crowd standing in them, screaming and cheering him on with red and gold banners waving wildly. It felt absolutely amazing, he hadn't flown in so long and the wind rushing by him made him feel free. So many things began running through his mind, believe it or not. Mostly old things, things he wished he could take back and had never happened. Home, school, drama . . . everything. At one point, he vaguely recalled the last time he had ridden a broom, and it had ended in a bang . . . litterally. It was with Lavender, and her broom had lost control and he had leapt off of his to help, causing his brand new Numbus 2000 to shatter to bits as it collided with the school wall. Of course, the only thing he got out of this memory was Lavender. Back before he'd made his big mistake with her, before she started dating Louis, and before things had gotten complicated. His mind had begun to wander, and he swerved quite ungracefully to the side as he narrowly avoided a goal post. Deciding it was better to think with both feet on the ground, he came skidding to a halt by the locker room he had just come from. Placing the broomstick gingerly on the ground, he laid down so he could see the sky, now turning a dark blue. He stayed there until the stars began to shine one by one, as if someone was sprinkling crystals across the atmosphere, thinking all the while about what had happened in the past few months, all the best moments, which were highly outweighed by the worst.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Jack walks down to the pitch to await Angelina for their date-slash-flying-lesson. The weather is warmer, so he does not have his greatcoat with him, only a blue button down shirt and some neat slacks. Presuming that the exercise will make for sweaty work, he undoes the shirt and strips it off, leaving him in only a white t-shirt stretched across his chest and clinging to his form. He takes a seat in the stands, staying near the bottom so that he won't be too far from the ground when Angelina arrives.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Just a few minutes later, Angelina flies out of the front doors, still holding the spare broom in her hand. She approaches the Quidditch Pitch at speed, and gains height a little, until she is coming to a stop hovering about a metre in front of where Jack is sitting on the stand. On a broom, Angelina is completely in her element, and much more confident. "Miss me?" She quips, smiling as she holds out the spare broom to Jack. "It's George's - I think - and it's not half bad. He does play on the House team, after all."

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Jack leans back a little, taking in the whole picture as Angelina hovers in front of him. The appreciation is clear in his eyes, and he sends a silent prayer of thanks to Merlin for whoever in the world designed those shorts. "I pined and I pined, can't you tell?" he quips with a smirk, raising his eyes to her face and letting his features take on a grin. He pushes himself gracefully to his feet and takes the offered broom. "Thanks." He turns it over in his hands a couple of times, inspecting it as if he knows anything about it. "Er, what? I just jump on and kick off?"

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Angelina would normally blush under these circumstances, but as we have already covered, she is much more confident in the air so she simply smirks as his eyes travel up her body. She makes a mental note of his behaviour, as if she is building a log for future reference... Which she might be, but hasn't decided yet. "I can tell, actually. It's pretty obvious - you might want to work on that." She admits. Then she smiles at his confusion. "Well, I'd avoid jumping. Maybe you should head down to the ground first? Then, just swing one leg over - like on a horse - and you should be able to kick off. Just start by trying to hover though; I don't want to have to chase you too far, after all."

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Jack laughs. "Oh, you know you'd chase me if you had to," he says with a wink, happy to be getting his own back a tad as Angelina clearly feels in control right now. "Alright, you're the boss," he tells her, jogging down to ground level with the broom and mounting it with a look on his face that clearly suggests there are rather a lot of things he could say about wood between his legs, mounting, and every other cliche one can imagine associated with riding broomsticks. He kicks off, and hovers about ten feet in the air, a little wobbly at first but settling without too much hassle.

Angelina grins. "How can you tell?" She asks, her tone light and mocking. She ignores the look on his face, knowing that if he gets started, he might never shut up, and watches as he begins to hover. She flies down in front of him. "There you go, it's that easy. You enjoying it, or scared you're going to fall on your face?"

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Jack laughs at her mocking tone. "Becuse you'd never forgive yourself if something went so terribly wrong and the world was deprived of my wonderful face," he says, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. He grins as she joins him, because flying actually is a pretty thrilling feeling and his exhiliration is written on his face. "Scared? I don't do scared. Were you hoping you'd have to hold my hand every step of the way? Because if you really wanted to..."

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
As Jack laughs, so does Angelina. "Of course, that's right - I'd be devastated with grief." She is very pleased to see exactly how much Jack is enjoying his flying lesson, and she touches down on the ground in front of him, doing a couple of light stretches in case he tries something rash and she has to chase or rescue him. God forbid that would happen, because she really isn't sure how to deal with that. "You've never been scared? Really?" She asks, stepping a little closer to Jack, but not taking his hand. It's not because she doesn't want to - she does - it's mostly because she's not sure that Jack won't fall. And the logistics of hand-holding on a broom are confusing as well.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Smirking, Jack stares at Angelina while she stretches, because why else would she do such a thing if she didn't want him to watch? He shrugs easily, gripping the broom tightly to make sure that he doesn't slide off the end. "I wouldn't say that I never get scared, it's more that I don't let it keep me back from anything, you know? So, Professor," he smirks, "How do I get this thing to go up?"

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Angelina stares back at Jack, because while she may be stretching in shorts, Jack has a rather tight shirt on, and she has to admit she has quite a sight to look at too. "So, the infallible Jack is not infallible after all. Nice to know," she grins. "Please, Professor? Now that makes me feel ancient - thanks. But in answer to your question, to go higher, just lean back a little and raise the front of your broom." She explains, making sure to choose her words pretty carefully.

Jack just chuckles, because this is one of those cases where the word 'Professor' conjures up thoughts and images far more akin to the sexy teacher than the ancient old professors that characterise Hogwarts a lot of the time. "Or maybe I'm just saying that to make you feel better," he counters with a wink, and leans back, slowly pulling the broom upwards until he's about thirty feet into the air. He still keeps a tight hold, because it doesn't quite feel natural to him to be so high, and continues to hover and await Angelina's teachings.

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Angelina smiles at Jack's chuckle, but it's a little confused - she doesn't quite get the connotation there, but she if glad it amuses him. "Sure you are..." She smirks. "Nice. See, it's easy! Now, to move forward, just lean forward, but make sure to keep your broom level. Like this." she adds, and she mounts her broom again, rising into the air, and flying forward slowly, before doing a quick circle around Jack with a grin. "You'll be flying like me in no time!"

Re: The Quidditch Pitch
Jack remains steady as Angelina rises into the air and circles around him slowly. "Like this?" he asks, leaning forward. Of course, he leans too far and the broom shoots off like a rocket, he pulls it back with a sharp jerk that makes the whole broom buck. "Whoa, holy shit!" he yells, scrambling to regain his balance. Then, once he is certain he is not going to die or worse, fall and damage his face, he starts to laugh. "Maybe I should just follow you for a while," he concedes. Not that he minds; if she's going to wear those shorts, he'll follow her wherever she cares to lead.
