Luna blinks. "Oh. Well alright then. I suppose that makes sense," she says with that dreamy look on her face. "I've never thought about that before. They sort of have minds of their own, you see. They're not talkers...Or listeners. Just thieves."

"Right, of cour-- OH SHIT! I GOTTA GO, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT CLASS! I'll see you later! BYEE!" Rad runs off to go be high elsewhere and somehow pass a class.

Dean comes down with his books, ready for his first study da--session with Luna. He's nervous for some reason. He has her picture too, in it's nice little frame. He also brought some snacks, just in case they get hungry. He sits down and waits for Luna to arrive.

Luna skips over with a big grin on her face because she can't stop thinking about Hermione and how everything in the world is just perfect in every single way. And now she's got this study session with her best friend to look forward to. She sits down next to Dean with her books and smiles. "Hello, Dean!" she says happily. "Today's a lovely day for being outside, isn't it?"

Dean couldn't help but smile when Luna approached. She always seemed so...happy, and it was rather infectious. "It is lovely! I have a surprise for you too!" He grinned and reached for his bag. He pulled out a simple picture frame with the drawing of Luna. "I figured a plain frame would do, didn't want to take away from the picture."

Luna's face lit up when she saw the picture. It was just...perfect! She gently took it from his hands, letting her fingers run along the edge of the frame as she admired Dean's work. "Dean, it's perfect," she murmured softly. "I love it!" She set it down in the grass next to her and hugged Dean tightly, glad to have such an amazing and talented friend.

He hugged her back, smiling like a loon. He pulled back "I'm glad you like it! So, what are we studying today?" He sat back in the grass and set some snackie snacks out. Mostly chips, red vines, cookies..things of that sort. "Feel free to have something to snack on too!"

"Red Vines!" She claps like a little, excited kid and grabs a Red Vine to nom on while she slides her book over. "Well, I brought my Charms book today so we could work on that," she says smiling. Yep. Luna wants help with her Charms homework. How charming.

"Charms it is!" He pulls out his book. "So, how have you been? Anything new going on?" He smiled again and opened his book randomly, not paying attention to what he was doing. He grabbed a chocolate donut out of the pile of snacks.

Well, I finally kissed Hermione Granger and she kissed me back and I think we're sort of together now but she doesn't want anyone to know because I'm pretty sure she's never even considered liking girls before and I'm not going to put an commas in this so I'm sorry if you're out of breath by the time you finish this sentence. "Nope, nothing new," she lies, not wanting to break her promise to Hermione by telling Dean about the library. "You?"

"Nothing new here. Same 'ol same 'ol." Found out my brother is actually gay and is sort of dating one of the most famous Quidditch players ever oh and he went on a date with my best friend Angela and for some reason I felt very odd about that. "My life isn't too exciting." He laughed a little.

Luna giggled and opened her book up, not sure where to start because she's probably learning different things if she's only a 5th year and Dean is a 7th. "Well, where shall we start?"

"Uh..Good question. Do you need help with any of the charms? Or are you interested in learning seventh year charms?" He chuckled.

"Um. Everything we're learning is pretty easy. Could you teach me some of the stuff you guys are learning!?" she asks excitedly because Dean is good with his charms...

He chuckled. "Okay. Well we haven't learned too many charms yet. Mostly we've been studying the Unforgivable curses. There are a couple. Disillusionment Charms and for example, I haven't quite got that one down yet. There's also Patronus', ~~but that's sort of an old story for the old D.A. crew~~ and Geminio..." He flipped through the pages of his book randomly.

"I know about the Patronus charm. Those are pretty," she says like the 15 year old girl she is. "Geminio? What's that? It sounds interesting."

"Oh! It's cool! It makes duplicates of any object. Like.." He looked around and picked up a little rock. "Let's hope I do it right." He pulled out his wand and cleared his throat. He concentrated for a moment then tapped the stone while he muttered "Geminio" He grinned when the stone was replicated. "See! Like that. The duplicate is suppose to last only a couple hours. Mine usually only last about twenty minutes."

Luna smiles when Dean replicates the rock and pulls out her own wand to try it herself. "Cool! Let me try," she says eagerly as she picks a flower out of the grass and sets it down in front of her. "Geminio," she says softly yet firmly, smiling happily as the flower replicates himself. She giggles and puts the replicated one behind Dean's ear. "There, you look very pretty."

Dean smiles widely. "That was great! You really are good at charms! I bet you already know how to make a Patronus! And thank you." He indicated the flower behind his ear, he left it there.

Luna greams at the compliment. "Thanks! Er- Patronus' are sort of tricky. I've never actually gotten a corporeal patronus figured out yet, but I suppose I could try." She thinks of her happiest memory, and her face lights up as she remembers Hermione kissing her in the library, and not pulling away like Luna thought she might. She feels her heart do that little fluttery thing and she says the incantation, grinning happily as a small hare comes out of the tip of her wand and bounces around Dean and Luna in the grass. "I did it!" she shrieks happily as she claps her hands together.

He joined in the clapping. "Great job! That must have been a good happy thought!" He smiles as the hare bounces around. "It looks lonely though." He raised his wand again. In his mind he thought of him and Luna being together, being happy and ,GASP, in love. He thought with all his might, EXPECTO PATRONUM!, and out of his wand and big fluffy sheep burst out and galloped around with the hare. "Aww, they look happy." He laughed.

"They do!" She smiles and watches the hare and the sheep run around together, ignoring Dean's comment about her happy thought because, well, she'd rather not have to explain it to him. "They're so cute!"

He chuckles. "They're friends! Just like us!" He laughed and watched as his sheep slowly faded. "I laughed so hard when I saw my Patronus was a sheep.."

"Well, it suits you," she says with a grin as she giggles and pats his sheep hair. "I like mine. Hares are cute and friendly. It could have been something lame, like...a slug or a spider."
