Al is here, sitting on a pumpkin and looking sad because lying to Scorpius is not fun, and now Scorp is probably all annoyed at Al for snapping at him like that.

Dom is roaming the lands for reasons that Odm cannot think of right now. Whatever. Being uncreative is friggin awesome. She soon spotted her cousin, looking rather upset about something while on one of those massive pumpkins. Immediately those Weasley senses kicked in and she went down to him. "Al, what's wrong?" she asked, pulling herself up onto the pumpkin next to him. What a nosey little bitch. She doesn't mean to sound nosey.

Al looks up in surprise when he hears his cousin's voice, not bothering to try faking a smile because he's done enough of that for one day. "Hey, Dom," he says quietly as he scoots over on the pumpkin slightly to make more room for Dom. "I...don't even know where to start," he mumbled, looking down at the ground as he pouted and looked all sad and pathetic.

This is the point where Odm thinks of the Sound of Music. "Well, why don't you start at the very beginning," she said. "Sometimes it's better to get whatever is on your mind off your chest. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's not that bad. If you killed someone...well...I'm sure you're parents will be pissed, but they'll still love you, alright? Now, what's wrong?"

Al takes a deep breath and continues looking down at his hands because he's not sure if he'll be able to tell Dom if he's looking at her. "Okay then...It's about Scorpius. He was hanging out with some friend and he had too much to drink, which is fine. It's not like he hasn't done that before. And then he started giving me a strip tease and a lap dance, which isn't that out of the ordinary for him either. But then he told me about how he kissed Viktor Krum while he was drunk and that he was still totally straight or something like that. And...Then he asked if he could kiss me...And I don't know what I was thinking but I just shrugged it off and let him do what he wanted. I mean, we've kissed before- As a joke..But...I wasn't expecting him to kiss me the way he did. Or for that long...And then he told me to remind him about it in the morning because he wanted to remember it...And...Everything's been different between us since then. He still doesn't know though. I never told him what happened. Dom? I think...I think I'm gay," he whispered quietly, looking up at her finally with a sad, heartbreaking expression.

Dom listened to the story quietly, her eyes widening slightly as more was revealed. Secretly she had always questioned why it was that Al had never had any romantic relations, so in a way she wasn't that surprised with what Al said. She didn't know Scorpius, but she had heard plenty of their friendship and could easily deduce that the friendship was much different from stereotypical male friendships. "Al...why do you say that like it's a bad thing?" she asked, reaching to hold his hand for comfort. "Do you think it's because the family will look at you differently? We won't. We all love you immensely. Is it because of society and how they handle sexualities? Well fuck them because they don't matter. If Scorpius makes you happy, then so be it. You deserve happiness Al."

Al smiles slightly as Dom takes his hand, though he's not sure how she'll handle the rest of their story. "It's not that, that bothers me. It's...There's more," he says with a sigh. "I haven't told Scorpius about it yet. I know he'd be fine with me being gay...Probably. He's always talking about how great Viktor is, and he's gay apparently. But...I think...That I like Scorpius. There's no way he would be okay with that. He's straight. Really straight. As straight as a guy can get, so having his best friend who happens to be a guy have feelings for him would just...not be okay."

"Oh," Dom replied, not quite sure how to handle this curveball now. "Well...I can see why you're so upset. I mean, having feelings for your best friend is completely normal. These things tend to happen when you've reached a deep comfort level. Al, this isn't a bad thing," she said honestly, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "I mean, I know...it's not that great of a situation... considering who he's currently dating..." she said, once again hesitant because of the fact that Scorpius was dating their cousin. "But you really do need to eventually tell him. You can't keep avoiding him or keeping it bottled up. Maybe, one day...who knows? Just don't let this turn out to be a regret."

"I want to tell him, I do. It's just...With Rose dating him now, it makes it all sort of difficult. We're best friends and we share a dorm together. If I tell him, it's just going to make everything awkward between us. If I don't tell him, then he'll never have to know about anything and everything can just stay the way it used to be...For the most part. I'm sure it's just dumb phase. A crush. No crush lasts forever, right?"

"How can things stay normal when the clearly aren't that right now. Al," she said, shifting on the pumpkin and facing him. "Let me ask you something. Picture yourself with Scorpius. You're hanging out, just sitting on the common room couch....laughing, having a good time. Then he leans in and kisses you softly. He murmurs to you about how right it feels. Don't you want to know if you can have that? Aren't you at all curious if that could one day happen? You'll never know until you at least make some sort of attempt."

Al couldn't help but smile at the mental image of him and Scorpius together. "Of course I want to know if I can have that. I'd love to have something like that with Scorpius. But I don't know if it's worth ruining things for Rose. She's my cousin, and we've always been close, even if I haven't really talked to her in quite a while. She'd never forgive me for something like this, Dom."

"You're...right..." Dom admitted hesitantly. Damn, if only they did the dibs rule. "Does it make me an awful cousin for saying that you really ought to follow your heart with this? Truthfully, Scorpius and Rose didn't have the best relationship. Can you honestly see them lasting forever? You and Scorpius though...it's different. Your friendship is much deeper and that foundation is already there."

Albus sighed again, thinking about how much Rose and Scorpius hated each other before they got together. "No, not really. I...I'm going to tell him. I'm not promising I'll do it now...Or the next time I see him. But I will tell him, and soon. I promise," he said with a small smile, glad that he had people like Dom and Lily Luna to talk to. "And thank you, Dom. I've been wanting to talk to you about this for a while. There aren't many people that I'd feel comfortable telling about all this."

"I'm proud of you Al," she said softly, moving to give her cousin a big hug. "As afraid or concerned you are, you need to do this for yourself. You deserve this. Have you...considered talking to Rose?" she asked, though she knew that her female cousin would not be pleased in the slightest. "I mean, you guys are close, what with being the same age...she deserves to know this too."

He smiles and hugs her back, glad to have someone like Dom to go to for advice. "Yeah, I've thought about it. Lots of times. Lots of different situations regarding how I would tell her that I have feelings for her boyfriend...All of them ending in me getting impaled by a brush," he admits softly, knowing that Rose was a redhead. You don't mess with a redhead.

Dom couldn't help but agree. It was going to be a messy situation and sides were probably going to have to be taken once Rose found out. "Well, she won't fight unless provoked. Though...she might count this as being provoked. I'm sorry Al," Dom says, giving her cousin a sad smile. "This has got to be difficult. I'm sure in the end though, everything will work out alright. I'll always be here if you need someone to talk to."

"I know that. Thanks, Dom. I'm glad that I can talk to you about all of this. I'll...figure out some way to tell Rose. She does deserve to know. I just don't know how to break it to her yet. No matter how I phrase it, she isn't going to handle this very well. Even though it's really not my fault. If there was some magical way for me to just...not feel like this about Scorpius, then we wouldn't have this problem...And Rose would be happy with Scorp, and things would go back to the way they usd to be."

For all you know, Scorpius could be keeping some super secret homosexual feelings repressed, yeah? Just...hope for the best. Plus, everyone says he's a great shag...so I'm sure you'll be very happy if things work out for your benefit," she said with a grin.

Al laughed, feeling a lot better about this now that he had talked to Dom about it. "Yeah, I've heard that as well. Straight from the source, himself. Ah, Scorpius...Repressed homosexual feelings. Somehow, I don't see it, but who knows. Maybe I'll get lucky," he says with a shrug, just realizing now that he honestly has no idea how Scorpius is going to react to all of this.

"Well keep positive," Dom said with a grin. "Like I said, everything will work. They say that everything happens for a reason...and the way that you feel definitely has happened for a reason. Just be patient with Scorpius. After all, he might be confused...maybe irritated...maybe hate you at first," she said, reluctant to tell him the truth. "Okay, he probably won't hate you...but he might avoid you a little. I'm sure it'll all work out though."

Al nodded quietly, not wanting to think about Scorpius hating him because he's definitely thought about that reaction quite a few times. "I would hope that he wouldn't hate me. Not after all we've been through. But...I know I should be prepared for any reaction from him. I doubt he'll be expecting this. Even though I'm not like him with the ladies, he still seems to have no idea why it is that I'm not on a date with some girl every other night. Guess I won't really know until I tell him."

Dom mused for a moment about how it all made sense now, why Al didn't really have much of an interest in other girls. Whether Al had realized it or not, it was because he was in love with his best friend. She was sure that Scorpius wasn't going to take the news well...how could he? He was a bit of a manwhore after all. "Well...let's look at this one way," she suggested. "I mean, maybe he's pushing you to find a girl...because he knows what a great guy and person you are. Maybe those thoughts can escalate into more. Maybe one day he will return feeling for you. Just stay positive and strong through this whole thing."
