Re: The Courtyard
He widened his eyes in shock as she snapped at him. He looked at her, with an almost concerned look on his face as she spoke. "Ohh--Okay, if you're sure." He said, still looking at her with that concerned look on his face.

Re: The Courtyard
She tilted her head to the side. "Stop looking at me like that. I'm fine. Really." She hoped she sounded reassuring. She wanted to change the subject, "So. How are things with that once chick, what's her name, Andromeda or whatever?"
Re: The Courtyard
He didn't stop looking at her like that when she told him too. He knew something wasn't right with her. She wasn't fine like she said she was. There was something she wasn't telling him and he had a feeling he knew. He just didn't want it to be true. He shook his head a bit and sighed when she mentioned Andromeda. "It's good." he said even though they haven't technically seen each other since the first time they met. "Fun." he said nodding.

Re: The Courtyard
"That's cool." She shrugged a little, then an idea popped into her head. "Hey! You're a guy!" She blushed at how stupid that sounded. "I mean. I need help with something. Can you help me?"
Re: The Courtyard
He raised his eyebrows at her when she mentioned he was a guy. It was a nice observation. He laughed slightly when she realized what she just said and nodded. "Yeah, Sure. What is it?"

Re: The Courtyard
She blushed even more, she felt like she could trust him. "Well. I want..Well, I want a-a boyfriend." She bit her lip. "Ho-How do I do it? I mean, guys never really notice me. What do I have to do?" Inner!Dean is telling her to stop being such an awkward nut with...issues, but she of course ignores it...
Re: The Courtyard
He stared at her for a few moments, blankly. "Well, You just have to put yourself out there. I mean, like...Is there a certain guy you have your eye on? or just...any guy?" he asked.

Re: The Courtyard
Of course there was a certain guy, but he was unattainable. "Any guy really." She said blushing. "I've never had a boyfriend, and you know how....awkward I am when I meet someone new." She thought of their first meeting and blushed even more, feeling a little light headed.
Re: The Courtyard
"Well, just. You have to put yourself out there more. Don't be so.....self conscious." he said and gave her a small smile. "You just need to relax more when you're around people and...well. Talk more." he said bluntly.

Re: The Courtyard
"I never know what to say. I just...freeze. Especially around attractive guys. I honestly have no idea how I'm able to talk to you." This was shocking to her, since he was the cutest guy she as ever set her eyes on EVER. "Maybe I should just forget it...I like cats, maybe I'll just get a bunch of cats.."
[OMG!!! *dies* I just went on to Illie's FB and the side advertising said, "Wants a boyfriend?" FB KNOWS EVERYTHING!!!!]

Re: The Courtyard
[OMG! FB KNOWS ALL! BAHAHAHAH]
He smirked at her as she said the whole thing about him being attractive and talking to him. "Well, just. I don't know. Just think of things to say to them. Like....do you like cheese or something simple. to be honest. Guys are just...They are simple." he said bluntly. "I mean..If a guy thinks you're a freak for freezing up just kick them and go find another guy." he said with a shrug. He really didn't know what to say to her since he was so confident.

Re: The Courtyard
She stared at him. "Cheese? What would I say about cheese?" What a weird thing to say.. She laughed at the bit about kicking. "Okay, I'll keep the kicking in mind."
Re: The Courtyard
"I don't know. Ask him if he likes cheese." He said and smirked at her. "Really though. Guys are not as scary as you may think they are. If you just try and talk to them. They'll talk. And you really should just tell this guy that you've got the hots for him. Because I know there's a guy and trust me. And single guy would definitely not be a dick about it if you just told him." He said, completely oblivious.

Re: The Courtyard
"There's no guy. " She lied, and realized she was getting better at it. Practice makes perfect. "Okay. I guess I will try sometime to talk to a guy...about cheese." She was still a little confused. "Thanks. I'll let you know how it goes."
Re: The Courtyard
He pointed at her with his finger. "You're lying. But I'll let it slide. For now.." he said and shrugged. "Good. I'm sure it will work out perfectly."

Re: The Courtyard
She shook her head and glared at him. "I would never lie to you!" LIE. "You and Dee are my two closest friends, why would I lie? That's absurd."
Re: The Courtyard
"I don't know." he said and shook his head. "I just have a feeling you are." He said and took both of her freezing hands in his and looked her right in the eye. "Okay. Tell me. Right now. That there is no guy who have the hots for. No specific guy....Without losing eye contact." he said.

Re: The Courtyard
The smile that was on her face faltered as he spoke. She felt horrible, but she couldn't tell him the truth, it was too embarrassing. She stuck her chin up and stared right into his eyes. "Marcus, there is no guy that I have the hots for right now." She said the whole thing without blinking, but had a horrible guilty feeling in her stomach. "Believe me?"
Re: The Courtyard
His eyebrows raised. "Hmmm, Okay. I believe you. You would never lie to me." He said and gave her a small smile. "And jeez girl. Your hands are still freezing." He said letting go of one, but still holding onto the other. "They don't feel cold to you?" He said, looking back up at her, but not letting go of her hand yet.

Re: The Courtyard
She grinned as he held her hand, definitely not helping her situation about lying to him. "They feel fine to me. Yours feel burning hot though, are you sure you're okay?" She looked back at their hands again, and tried not to grin like a loon.
Re: The Courtyard
He stared at her for a few moments, moving his hand a bit, so he wasn't really holding her's but it was still resting in his. "I feel fine. Nobody has ever told me I have hot hands." he said and looked back down at her hands. "I'm pretty sure. You just have really cold hands." He said as he gripped her hand again, gently rubbing her hand with his thumb, not really thinking anything of it.

Re: The Courtyard
SERIOUSLY DUDE!! ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE HER FAINT!!
She felt an odd fluttering in her stomach, but couldn't tell if it was hunger or because of Marcus rubbing her hand. She wasn't really thinking when she said, "Do you like..cheese?"

Re: The Courtyard
[No. >.> ]
His eyes snapped back up to her. "What was that?" He asked because he had zoned out for a second while thinking about her cold hands.

Re: The Courtyard
She realized what she said, and their previous conversation. "I said.. I think I need to sneeze." Yeah, that could be passed off. She paused and looked up, you know, like people do when they have to sneeze. Of course nothing came. "Oh, I guess not.." she shrugged.
Re: The Courtyard
"Oh, Umm alrighty then." He said and grinned at her. He slowly slid his hand out from under hers, so they weren't making any contact anymore. "So. Anything else new with you then that you're not telling me? Other than studying?"
