Lav is skipping by when she spots her BFF. She is practically bursting with news. "Parvati!!" She ran towards her. "I have something to tell you!" She was bouncing up and down.

Parvati whipped her head around and grinned as she saw her BFF Lavender. "Yeah??!?!" She says, her eyes full of excitement. "What is it??! SPILL!"

She squealed. "Louis asked me out!" Even though, technically they were still on that date..whatever. "He does like me! And you'll never guess what I said." She was grinning again.

Parvati screamed from excitement. "Oh my gawds! Lav! That's so great!" She said, a huge grin on her face. "Well, I'm guessing you said yes..." She said, sounding a tad confused.

She shook her head, a bit sadly. "I actually said no! I just." She looked around the courtyard. "Well, I sort of wanted to find out if Seamus liked me too. I felt bad not letting him have a shot, ya know? It was so hard to do too. You wouldn't believe how sweet Louis is. He's just--" For once, words failed her but she figured the deep blush would let Parvati know what she meant.

Her jaw dropped in shock. "You--You said no? WHAT WHATT??!" She said in shock and listened to her friends explanation. "Well, you could have gone on the date with Louis and Seamus. I mean technically one date doesn't make you officially off limits to guys? You know what I am saying?" She asked cocking her head to the side. "But still! That's so exciting that he asked you out!"

She nodded. "Yeah, then we went and ate in the Great Hall. I sat at the Ravenclaw table! It was so strange!" Lav would love to give details, but the date isn't over yet. "Do you think I should tell Seamus that Louis asked me out? I just don't know what to do. I've never had to make a decision like this before!"

She put on her thinking face for a moment and then shook her head. "No...don't. I mean, if you tell him he will probably get all freaked out and nervous and then he'll think you don't like him if you're talking all about Louis." She said nodding. "Just...wait a little and see if Seamus asks you out. Until then, I wouldn't stress about telling Seamus."

"Yeah," She said seriously. "That makes a lot of sense! You totally rock at giving advice. I don't know what I'd do without you! I haven't seen Seamus since that first day though. I wonder where he's been. Oh well, I guess if I don't see him, that will make my decision easier.."

She nodded. "Yeah, totally. I mean, if he isn't going to make a huge effort to see you then why should you bother trying with him? You know? I mean, if a guy wants to see you, he'll try and see you. Definitely." She says with a grin. "Hey, speaking of seeing people, and first days back. Have you seen Harry?" She asked, trying to bring him casually into the conversation.

"You're right!" She thought for a moment when Parv asked her if she's seen Harry. "Potter? You know what..I haven't! That's weird. Why do you ask?" She was looking at her friend a little suspiciously.

"No. The other Harry we know." She said and smirked at her BFF. "Yes, Harry Potter." She said and shook her head. "No reason. I don't know. I just....I haven't seen him yet this year and I mean. I usually see him more often." She said with a shrug.

She nodded "Yeah. That is weird. You don't think he dropped out do you? I haven't seen Ron either, come to think of it. I should ask Seamus. He shares a dorm with them."

"No, I don't think he would have done that." She said and was quiet for a few seconds, I know, Shocking. "Maybe he's just sick, so he hasn't been out of his dorm much. He wouldn't have dropped out without telling m--everyone." She said and smiled.

Lavender, despite popular belief, wasn't slow. She caught what Parv was about to say. She grabbed her arm. "Is there something you aren't telling me? You almost said 'me' not 'everyone'. Spill!" She stared at her friend, not blinking.

"WHAT WHATTTTTTT?!" She said with wide eyes. "No...there is nothing else. No. Of course not.... I mean...I haven't talked to him since last year. How could there be something else?!?!"

She stared at her. "You better not be lying to me! I swear I won't tell anyone. We made a promise to each other, remember." She as referring to the promise that they wouldn't gossip about each other. "Tell me!"

"Look, there is nothing going on between me and Harry, Lav!" She said with a grin, shaking her head. "Yet."

"Yet!?!? What's that suppose to mean! Do you fancy him? Does he fancy you? Tell me everything!" She sat down on a bench, and pulled Parv with her since I think they were still standing..

"Well, I don't know. I've always sort of fancied him a bit but I don't know if he fancies me, but this year. I will find out. I'm determined." She said with a grin.

She bounced again. "That's a great idea! You two would be perfect for each other! I'm sure he's rich too, not that that matters, but it helps ya know." She nodded. "How are you going to find out?"

"Well, I don't know yet. I think I'm just going to talk to him more. Ya know? Kind of hint that I like him and then maybe he'll catch on." She said with a grin.

[BTW. Posting may be a bit slow. I think Deb is about to get murdered.]

"That makes sense. He'll have to like you! You're like the best looking in our year! There's no way he'll be able to resist you." She giggled. "I'll let you know if I see him around at all too, it's rather odd he hasn't been around."

"Yeah! Sure!" She said and rolled her eyes. "I'm definitely not better looking that you Lav!" She said and smiled. "Yeah, I don't know. I'm sure he is around somewhere. I'll just have to look for him I suppose." She said and grinned.
