On a whim, Hannah reached for Al's hand. "I know what you mean. At least, I think I do. I know what it's like to be a stranger in your own house, your own family. Feel free to talk to be anytime, I've been told that I'm a great listener."

Al smiled at Hannah and kept his hand where it was with hers. He really did feel like a stranger in his own house. The only times he didn't was when he was just with his mother...Or when Scorpius came to visit. "Thanks, Hannah," he said, glad that he had chosen now to take a walk, otherwise he might not have met the Hufflepuff. "That means a lot. I just...I don't know. James just...doesn't listen to me."

Hannah nodded, "I definitely know what you mean. My dad is like that sometimes. Like, just because I'm only 16 means I don't understand anything. And then you get cut out of everything until you don't belong anymore. That's part of the reason I'm so glad to be back here." She gestured to the castle, which towered over them. "I'm sure he'll come to his senses sometime. Family is more important then what house you're put in, right?"

Al smiled and glanced up at the castle. "Yeah, I know what you mean. I've always felt like I belonged here. It's sort of sad to think this is my last year at this place." Maybe once school ended James would realize that houses really don't mean anything, though now that Scorpius was part of the equation it sort of made things complicated.

Hannah sighed, "I've still got one more year, thankfully. I'm not quite ready to leave yet, I don't think." She shivered, and stood up suddenly, "It's cold out. I'm going to get something warm to drink." She hesitated a moment before reaching out a hand, "Join me?"

Al smiled. He liked Hannah and he liked talking to her. It was nice to think that he had made another friend to hang out with and talk to about random stuff. "A hot tea sounds perfect right now," he grinned, taking Hannah's hand in his as he stood up and walked with her to wherever she planned to go to get a nice, hot drink.

Well, um. Anyways...

Ash Ketchum appears from the bushes and sends out Andrew Saverin. Andrew debates using thundershock and going against his trainer's will, but he notices that the other ~~Pokemon~~ person is an attractive female. Instinctively, he freezes and straightens out his back to improve his posture. No need to be aggressive, eh? Ash gets pissy and runs off on a rampage, possibly to go rant to Misty. Oh, well, his problem. Andrew is free! He walks over to the girl and smiles. "Hi, I'm Andrew. What's your name?"

Dean comes walking down in a burrito blanket. It's cold, but he wants to spend time outside. He practically trips when he sees Luna sitting outside. "Be cool Thomas." He murmured to himself. For the record, it is totally cool for a dude to walk around in a burrito blanket. So, he hop/walks over to Luna and sits down next to her. "Hey Luna. What's up?" He grinned like a loon.

Luna bit at her lip lightly to try and keep from laughing, but as Dean hopped over to her she couldn't hold it in any longer, and ended up laughing rather loudly. "Hello, Dean. Um, what is that you're wearing?" she asked curiously, unable to keep the smile off her face as she looked over Dean's...outfit? She wasn't sure what it was because this Luna doesn't know the wonders of a burrito blanket yet.

Dean wondered why she was laughing so much. "This? It's a burrito blanket. It's cold out here." He said it like it was completely obvious. "See, I'm warm from head to toe. Plus, there's more cushioning if I sit on a cold bench." He nodded and was completely serious.

Luna tilted her head to the side and looked Dean up and down again. Oh, it did look like a blanket! "Oh, well that makes sense. You do look warm." She poked him in the side, giggling at how fuzzy he was. "So, what have you been up to?"

He smiled at her again, something he did a lot when he was with her. "I've been locked up in the castle. I needed to get outside. I've just been hanging around though. What about you? How are you?" He was always wondering if she was okay. He glanced at her quick and noticed she looked better than before.

It seemed like what had happened with Hermione had been ages ago, and though it had seemed like the end of the world at the time, she had come to realize that she was only 16 and had no idea what love really was. "Happier," she added with a soft smile. "Thanks to you..."

Words could not describe how happy her words had made her. He felt as though it was progress for him. "I'm really glad to hear that Luna. You look great too." he glanced at her wrist, but she was wearing a jacket. He was trying to see if she was wearing the bracelet he made. He never took his off. "I just got my Christmas present from my brother. A little late, but it's totally awesome. I was thinking of testing it out, but it's pretty cold."

Luna returned the smile, subconsciously playing with the bracelet on her wrist that she had never taken off since she first put it on. She found it comforting, actually, and every time she was feeling upset she would glance down at it and smile as she thought about how amazing Dean was. "Really? What did he get you?"

Dean was bouncing again, particularly after seeing her play with something on her wrist.. "Well, he got me a bunch of art supplies and he got me these pencils that NEVER GET DULL!! Ever! I can draw and draw, and they will stay sharp. They are amazing. Remus is the best." He frowned for a moment when he thought of all that his brother was going through. He tried to quickly cover it up with a forced smile. "But yeah, I can't wait to test them out."

Luna beamed. "That's great! It's perfect for you. Maybe you could use them to finish that drawing of the castle you said you'd do the first week of school," she teased as she nudged him lightly with her shoulder. "Don't tell me you gave up on it yet..."
