Andi left with Evan, on her way to the Hog's Head. She felt butterflies in her stomach. This wasn't like her at all, going off to a bar with a man she had just met. But it would be fun, and she couldn't wait to see how it would turn out.

Hannah stepped into the courtyard and breathed in a breath of fresh air. It had been a while since she'd been here and she was more than happy to be back. She walked over to a bench and brushed the snow off it before sitting down and humming a tune quietly to herself, just enjoying the feeling of being outside.

Al walked into the courtyard sometime after he got back to school from break. He needed some time to just relax and he figured that a walk would help with that. He noticed another girl sitting down on a bench and walked over to sit by her because he's in a friendly, social mood. And he could use more friends. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked, his hands still in his pockets so they don't freeze off.

Hannah cleared snow off the spot next to her and scooted over as an invitation. "I'm Hannah," She told him, thinking of shaking his hand. By the way he had them pushed into his pockets, though, it was probably too cold for that. Instead she just smiled up at him.

"I'm Albus," he replied, leaving out the 'Severus' part because he's always hated that part of his name. It's lame. "But most people call me Al." He smiled and sat down next to her, keeping his hands in his pockets to try and keep them warm. "Just get back from the holidays?"

"Al, then." She said decisively. A smile touched her lips when he asked about her holidays, "Yes and no. I've been sick for a while, just got back to school. I hope I'm not too far behind. What about you?"

"Aw, I'm sorry. Glad you're feeling better though. I just got back too. I was at home for the holidays...And I went to my friend's house which was interesting," he said without giving details because that hasn't actually happened yet. "It was definitely a good holiday though." Even with all the not so great stuff that happened, he had Scorpius and that was the important thing. "How did you holidays go?"

"Pretty much what I expected." She considered tell him all about it, but decided against it. The idea of sharing all her fears with a stranger, someone she might never see again, was tempting, but upon further inspection of him she noted the green and silver scarf he was wearing. Slytherin. Probably not the best idea, "I got some pretty cool gifts for Christmas, though."

"That's always good," he grinned. "I got some pretty awesome stuff too." He smiled to himself as he thought of his favorite gift, the trip to muggle London with Scorpius. "What type of things did you end up getting?"

"I got a new guitar from my dad," Hannah told him happily, "It's about time, too. My old one was horrible. Really ancient, I think it was one of the first ever made." She could see her breath in the air and kicked at the snow on the ground, "What did you get?"

"I got some Quidditch stuff and some journals for writing in." He figured it wouldn't hurt to mention this, though even Scorpius didn't know that Al enjoyed writing. He wasn't really sure why he never mentioned it. Probably because it was sort of his thing, what he did while he was alone. "You play guitar? That's awesome. I play piano."

"Piano, really? I tried to play once, but it was too difficult." She admited, "I could never get the hang of having to use both hands for different parts." Plus, she had too many other things going on. She really did wish she'd kept with it, though. "We could play together sometime, maybe."

"That would be great! Most of my friends aren't really into music, so I normally just play music alone. I'd love to play with you sometime though," he said, and I am not changing that even though it sounds really dirty.

Hannah laughed, "That sounds like fun." She left out the fact that she wasn't surprised Slytherins didn't really play music, it was quite a sterotype. One that Al here just disproved. "So, you play piano," She said thoughtfully, "What else? Any other secret talents?"

"Hmm. No? Not really," he shrugged. "My brother has always been more of the Quidditch playing type, but I do like playing for the team. Just not like him. What about you? Any other talents I should know about before you become famous?"

Hannah laughed, tucking her hair behind an ear shyly. "Well, I don't know. I really like artsy stuff. Music, singing, dance, drawing. The whole deal. Not that I'm good at them or anything. I just like them. Quidditch is fun, too. I was on the team before I got sick and left, they might have pulled me off." Probably not, judging by the amount of Puffs there are.

"Artsy stuff is cool. I'm sure you're a great artist. You should try playing guitar while dancing and painting a masterpiece...while playing a harmonica...At the same time," he nodded with a teasing grin. "And I hope they didn't take you off the team. What position are you?"

Hannah rolled her eyes, "Don't be ridiculous, no one plays harmonica." She sat up a little straighter when he asked about Quidditch, "I play chaser," so told him, proud. It was, in her opinion, the most important position, the one that took the most skill and strategy. "What about you?"

"Yes, they do! And if they don't, they should." Al owns a harmonica and he plays it when he's bored...Or drunk. Usually just when he's been drinking, though he doesn't condone drinking and playing the harmonica. "I'm a chaser too!"

Drinking and playing the harmonica does sound like a dangerous combination. "Oh, maybe that's why you look a little familar," She told him, looking him over, "I definitely might have seen you as you flew past me to score." But really, Hufflepuff's horrible Quidditch history was no joke. They had only won once the whole six years she had been at Hogwarts.

"Right! I've probably seen you but didn't notice. Like I said, my brother is the natural Quidditch player so I'm usually concentrating pretty hard when I'm on a broom," he chuckled. So many dirty thoughts.

Hannah laughed, pulling her jacket tighter. Was it just her, or was it getting colder out? "You're brother... Who might that be?" She felt a flash of jealousy that Al had a sibling and she was an only child, she had always wanted a younger sister.

"James. James Sirius Potter." Al had always been jealous of his brother's name. It was a lot better than his own. "He's in Gryffindor with my little sister, Lily Luna. They're both pretty awesome, though I don't see them often since I'm in Slytherin."

Although the name rang a bell, Hannah couldn't put a face to it. "That must be hard, being seperated like that." She thought out loud, "Plus the rivalry between your houses. Summers must be a blast."

Al sighed. "You have no idea. Lils is still the same, but James sort of changed once I got sorted into Slytherin. It's like he thinks I'm a different person because of it, but I'm still the same Al. I'm still his brother...I just wish he could see that- Sorry, didn't meant to start talking to you about my feelings. I'll save it for Tam Dr. Phil."
