Gideon grins. "Well, I'm glad. And don't worry, considering we saw what your sister's boyfriend looks like, I don't think you missed that much. I'm sure your parents will get you up to date." He squeezes her hand gently as he follows her across the courtyard.

Lily laughs out loud, the sound ringing across the empty grounds. "Are you kidding? If I'd gone home, it's likely there wouldn't have been enough food for me! I'm going to have to lie to my mother, though- I think if I told her a sixteen year old cooked a better Christmas dinner than she ever has, it'll break her heart."
She lets her fingers entwine with Gideon's as she wanders across the grounds, and it's not until she steps into a slightly deeper patch of snow, sinking half way up her shin and soaking her jeans, that she realises how long they've been out, and how far from the castle she's mindlessly wandered. "Bugger," she mutters, feeling the icy cold seep into her skin and looking around as if surprised to find them out in the dark. "Probably wasn't the smartest move, getting so far out," she comments, biting back a shiver.

Gideon grins some more, and snickers. "Well, if it would make her feel any better, Molly cooks better than anyone else I know." They walk for a while, but Gideon looks down, slightly concerned as he feels Lily shiver through their joined hands. "Well, I know somewhere warm we could go, if you're interested?" He grins.

Inner!Molly is like... 'WTF? Better than pretty much anyone you know? WHAT IS THIS, GIDEON PREWETT!?'
*throws Shiny Red Ball for her*

Lily glances up into Gideon's face, then her eyes flicker about them. "If it's warm and it's close, I'm in," she tells him frankly, walking briskly with him as he leads the way towards shelter.

Andi's Outfit

Andi walked out into the coatyard, pulling her coat tighter around her body to keep her warm. She was bored, had been bored since she got back to school from home. Home was a whirlwind, a place where everything was social, where everything was bright, everything exciting. She sat down on one of the benches, careful not to trip over anything in her heels. She hoped someone would wander by and entertain her.

Evan is crossing the courtyard on his way back into the school after dark, secret dealings with the Dark Lord which took up most of his Christmas break. In fact, Evan didn't even really know it was Christmas. He surveys the only other person in the courtyard out of the corner of his eye- she looks strikingly similar to Bella, and Evan realises she must be one of the Black sisters. He wonders how similar she is to the elder Black... Curious, Evan wanders over to take a closer look, dark eyes fixed keenly on her. "You're a Black sister," he states. "Evan Rosier."

[Andromeda Black]

Andi preened slightly at his introduction. She was a Black sister, and damned proud of it. Here was a decent person, a person who knew who she was by sight. That is what good breeding means, she thought smugly, it means people know you and know how to treat you without ever being introduced. She knew of him, he was one of Bella's friends. And a Rosier. That was a name with weight in the pureblood circles. Not as much as Black, but that was hard to find. She smiled up at an angular face, "Andromeda, the middle one." She met his dark gaze evenly. "How do you do, Evan?"

[Evan Rosier - Inactive]

Evan smirks. Not only does he like what he sees, he likes what he hears. Clearly Andromeda does not take the good breeding of her family name lightly. It's not easy to find a proper Pureblooded woman, and if Evan was the type to be impressed by a female, he might be impressed with her. "Pleasure," he says, his voice low, smooth, full of charisma as he leans over and reaches for her hand, lifting it easily to his lips in greeting. He returns to his full height, towering over her as his eyes take in every feature of her pale, beautiful face and dark hair. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything important?"

Andi blushed lightly as his warm breath caressed her hand as he murmured, "Pleasure," and then kissed it. Finally, a pureblood with proper breeding. Nothing like that prat Marcus she dated. She smiled when he asked if he was interrupting. "Oh, absolutely not! I was bored mindless coming back here after all of the society back home. I was hoping I could find someone," she hesitated, "decent," her voice lingered on the word, adding a layer of meaning to it, "to talk to." She eyed him up and down as he towered over her slight form. "And you are much more than decent, Mr. Rosier, you would be delightful company!" She slid over on the bench a little, leaving ample space for Evan to sit. "Would you can to sit down?"

Evan smoothly seats himself next to Andi, grinning almost wolfishly at the light blush on her cheeks. "Don't I know it. With the rabble they let into this place, it's near impossible to find a decent sort about anymore," he says, more casual tones creeping in now that he's relaxing slightly around Andi. "Not too many like us left in the world anymore, who preserve the proper ways."

"I completely agree!" Andi nodded, unable to rip her gaze from Evan's face. He was handsome and charming and one of Bella's friends. She didn't need much more to become fascinated. "I have had run ins not only with," she made a face, "impure people at the school, but purebloods not knowing the way the world should work! It horrifies me!" She subtly moved a mere inch closer.

[Evan Rosier - Inactive]

Evan's face floods with contempt, his dark eyes glittering maliciously. "Those ones are almost more disgusting than the mudbloods! Mudbloods are born to filth, but when a supposedly respectable pureblood chooses to foul themselves up by associating with those animals, it's sickening. They need to be eliminated. The people I ally myself with know how it works, and we're giong to restore the Wizarding World to its former glory," he boasts, happy to have an attentive, respectable audience who will have the sense and breeding to agree with him.

Andi gasped. "Oh, that sounds marvelous." Her eyes drifted away from Evan, out onto the courtyard. She began to imagine a new wizarding world, a proper one. Everything would be clean and glistening and perfect. "You sound like a Crusader. How brave you are." She turned so she could look at him with less train to her neck. Admiration was evident in her eyes.

[Evan Rosier - Inactive]

"It will be," Evan promises, pride practically rolling off him in waves. "We need our world to have order and strength, and ya can't have that until everyone knows their place," he preaches. "That's why we can't stop until we get all the rotten fruit off the tree. Blood traitors have to change their ways, or be put down with the rest. Can't let 'em bring the respectable ones like you and me down with them."

"Society, at the core, is just a hierarchy of power. And once that becomes skewed, everything crumbles." Andi remembered hearing a conversation like this at her house, and tried to remember what her father had said. He was eloquent as anything, and she felt a deep need to impress Evan. "Look at all the laws helping out Mudbloods and half-breeds nowadays. The balance of power is so out of whack. It has to be righted. We are on the path to anarchy." She spoke faster as she continued to talk, until she finished breathless, looking at Evan to see if he agreed. Somehow, she knew it was ridiculous to want his approval. He was only a well-bred friend of Bella's, no skin off her back. But he was handsome and brave and compelling. And, a friend of Bella's was a friend of hers. Her sister had good taste... after all it was Bella.

[Evan Rosier - Inactive]

Evan nods furiously, Andi's words making her even more attractive to him. There was something... different about her. She wasn't quite like her older sister, who had all that alluring darkness and voracious sexuality, but she was passionate and earnest and she'd been brought up to think and behave the right way. She'd be a respectable ally, and Evan thinks she'd be a good role model for Penny because if she doesn't start behaving like a Rosier, he'll remove her from the family. He's not afraid to prune the dead weight from his family tree. "And that's what they want, you know. That's the way they'd have it - mudbloods in power and the old ways forgotten instead of respected like they oughta be." He glances about them. The air is chilly and he wants a drink. "Would you care to join me at the Hog's Head for a drink, and we'll get a little better acquainted," he suggests.

[Andromeda Black]

"How could anyone want anarchy?" Her voice was a whisper, and she glanced around, as if searching for a person who was sick enough to want that. She shuddered at the thought of mudbloods in power. That would be an awful thing. She giggles slightly when he asks her to the Hog's Head. "I would love to accompany you. Let me run to my dorm to grab some money?" She asked, waiting to be excused. She didn't say she had heard the Hog's Head was sort of run-down. She didn't let on that she had never been there. It would be an adventure, going with Evan. She would be going outside her comfort zone.

[Evan Rosier - Inactive]

"Damned fools, the lot of 'em. Reckon mudbloods and muggles are just like us," Evan snarls, the thought making him want to spit in disgust. Of course, he would never do such a thing in front of a proper lady like Andi. He raises his eyebrows as Andi begs leave to retrieve her money, standing and immediately stepping into the role of what a respectable man would do. "I wouldn't hear of it. Drinks are on me," he says firmly, holding out an arm for her to escort her to the pub.

"Oh, thank you so much Evan." Her smile lit up her face as she beamed at him, touched by the small kindness. It had been awhile since she had talked to someone outside the family who meant well. Society was all backstabbing and probing for weak points, but Evan seemed nice enough. She bobbed a slight curtsy to him in jest before taking his arm, ready to be off.

He raises his eyebrows as Andi begs leave to retrieve her money, standing and immediately stepping into the role of what a respectable man would do. "I wouldn't hear of it. Drinks are on me," he says firmly, holding out an arm for her to escort her to the pub.

Evan laughs at Andi's little curtsy, thinking about how it'd be nice to spend a little time with someone who not only uses her manners well, who is as dedicated to preserving a pure and powerful magical world as he is, but who he can also have a little fun with once in a while. "Anytime," he says, and leads her off to the Hog's Head where I'll post next if people leave me alone for 2 seconds... *kicks*
