Re: A cliff near the rock outcropping

Neville walked up to a cliff and sat down on the edge and sat down, dangling his legs off the edge.

Marcus walked outside and saw only one person around. He recognized him as that Neville kid. The one who SEEMED to be a big nerd but in reality was really cool. He walked over to the cliff where Neville was sitting and sat down next to Neville and said "Hey Neville." and hit him on the back, a little too hard because Neville FELL of the cliff.

Neville smiled at Marcus "Heyyahhhh!" He said grabbing onto a small ledge that was there. "OH MY GOD! HELPPPPPP!" He screamed.

Marcus' eyes went wide when he saw Neville fall of the cliff, he was relieved when he saw Neville grab onto the ledge and he reached his hand down for Neville to grab to help him up.

Neville grabbed onto Marcus' hand and pulled himself back up. He sat down and let out a sigh. "WOAH! That was a close one."

"I know I thought I was going to lose you for a second there." He let out a deep breath. "Are you alright?"

Neville looked at Marcus with a blank look and leaned closer to him. "YOU SAY SOMETHING?"

Marcus gave him a confused look and slowly nodded his head. "Yes...I did...."

Neville gave him a weird look when he saw him nod. Then Marcus' lips began to move....again...but he couldn't hear anything.

Marcus stared at him blankly and yelled. "Neville! Can you hear me?!?!"

Neville slightly heard Marcus' shouting, but it sounded more like a whisper. "Ummm, Kind of...I think something is in my ear!"

Marcus looked into his ear. "Yeah! I think I see something in there.....That's really gross...You should get that out of there..."

[Neville Longbottom]

Neville reached into his ear and pulled out a whole glob of stinksap. "Yupp. That would be stinksap. Probably from the other day." He said as he flicked it off the cliff.

Marcus gave him a confused look not knowing what the hell stinksap was. "So...can you hear me now?"

[Neville Longbottom]

Neville smiled at him slightly. "Yeah...I can hear you perfectly now."

Marcus returned the smile. "Good....so. What's new with you? We haven't talked since before prom....It seems like so long ago."

[Neville Longbottom]

"I know it seems like ages ago since we talked." His eyes went all wide. "Umm, well I haven't really had much time to myself to get out and hang with my friends you know. That's why I am out here now. There's this girl and she's practically been begging me to tutor her..." He rolls his eyes slightly. "She's a crazy loon on loon tablets."

Marcus smiled slightly and couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Nice, so you're a tutor Huh? What's the girls name?"

[Neville Longbottom]

"Parvati...something. I don't think she ever told me her last name. She's a Gryffindor like me, she always wears her cheerleading outfit everywhere."

Marcus nodded. "Yeah, I've met her...She's friends with my girlfriend."

[Neville Longbottom]

"Oh That's so cool. We like, know the same person and we didn't even know it until know!"

Marcus laughed slightly. "Yeah, it's crazy...."

[Neville Longbottom]

"It is!" He looked off at the lake and with an amazed expression.

Marcus watched the boy's expression and couldn't help but laugh at how amazed he was by all of this. He slowly began to stand up. "Okay Neville, I will let you have your alone time. I'll see you around." He said as he stood up and walked off to the castle.

Neville snapped back to real life and smiled at Marcus. "Okay! I'll see you later." He said and leaned back on his hands looking out on the lake...
