*Hermione wanders away from Tam, exploring the shoreline of the lake. She finds a little clearing - a smooth piece of rock jutting out just a little over the water and decides, since she's enjoying the fresh air, to stay a while. She conjures a blanket and spreads it over the surface, sitting cross-legged and admiring the view*

Remus was taking a walk and spotted Hermione sitting near the lake. He walks up behind her and bends down draping his arms over her shoulders and kissing the top of her head. "How are you?"

*She tilts her head back so she can smile up at him before gently tugging on one of his hands, a silent invitation for him to sit down and make himself comfortable*

I'm good. I had a really good sleep and when I woke up you looked so peaceful I didn't have the heart to wake you and send you back to your dorm. So I went for a walk, I cleared the air with Tam which is a huge relief... and then I found this little spot and stopped to enjoy the view. How are you, honey?

[Remus Lupin]

He smiled and sat down next to her still holding her hand. "I'm good. I don't think I've slept that well in ages like I did last night. I'm glad you cleared things up with Tam, I should probably talk to her at some point the last time she really spoke to me she seemed rather annoyed with me. Which is understandable I guess. So anyways...it is rather nice out isn't?"

*Still smiling, she shifts a little closer*

Yeah, it is - I just couldn't bring myself to go back inside... I wouldn't worry about Tam, I think she's forgiven you now. She's just... protective, you know?

*shrugs* I'll try and visit her and baby Hash later, if you want to come. I have all these gifts I was saving for the baby shower, but I don't think you can actually have one of those after the baby is born, so...

[Remus Lupin]

He laughs and places an arm around her shoulders. "Okay I'll come along. It'll be nice to see her and the baby. Tam's a great friend." He likes how peaceful it is here and it's even more so since they're there together.

*She leans into him, stretching up to give his cheek a quick kiss. She's missed this - missed the peace of just being with him.*

So how is it with the Marauders? I thought I saw Sirius briefly in the Hospital Wing when Tam was in labour - have you all stopped being ridiculous and gone back to normal yet? *She wrinkles her nose.* Well, normal for you lot is pretty ridiculous anyway, but you know what I mean...

"Everything seems to be going alright now. We were all in the dorm the other day and James and Sirius were going at it again but I yelled at them. Then Peter started flailing his arms about, you should have seen it it was hilarious, and I couldn't stop laughing and then they all started laughing and now we're all good I guess." He lightly played with her hair. "I'm just glad. It had been looking like the four of us weren't ever going to hang out again altogether but now it doesn't look that way. I've missed them, just like I've missed you." He smiled.

*She giggles and rolls her eyes* Boys...

Mmm *the feel of his fingers playing through her hair is relaxing, she inclines her head a little, pushing it further into his hand*
I'm glad - it was really upsetting to see you four so at odds, you've always been so close...

He sighs and continues to play with her hair, "I think it was worse for James and Sirius...those two are like brothers. I've never seen them get into fights much so it was a little strange. But what Sirius had done was pretty stupid. Hopefully he doesn't do that ever again. I wonder how Fleur and Katie are. Haven't spoken to them in ages it feels like. Haven't really spoken to a lot of people in a while it seems..." He frowns and shakes his head a little to stop thinking about how secluded he'd been from his friends before him and Hermione had gotten back together. He gives her hair a playful tug. "We should go to Hogsmeade this weekend or something. It'd be fun."

*She giggles again* Honey, hoping Sirius doesn't do something stupid is... well, it's fighting a losing battle, I can tell you that much. I haven't really caught up with the girls either, I don't know what's really happening there...

*Feels guilty at the reminder that she'd abandoned pretty much everyone, but is distracted by him tugging at her hair. She pokes him in the chest in retaliation.*

Hogsmeade sounds like fun - I need a new book!

[I meant that it'd never work on here Tamsikins *pokes* silly. I've read my share of Sirius/Remus fan fics. hahahahaha I like that pairing, not as much as Remione, but I still like it.

He grabs her fingers and kisses the back of her hand. Then he pulls her into his arms giving her a hug and buries his face in her hair. Merlin what was I thinking leaving her back then? Never ever again. I want to be with you forever Hermione. "I love you." His voice was muffled by her hair.
