"I've...I've talked to Viktor," he tells him. "About how you two have worked things out. About you over-dosing. I'm glad that you're alright," he says sincerely to Regulus, hoping that he doesn't make him feel awkward with this honesty and bluntness. "How you've changed your ways."

Regulus looks away, determined not to meet his eyes. "That's nice," he said shortly, still angry with Scorpius for not even bothering to tell Faye, but not really wanting to start another fight.

Scorpius sighs when Regulus turns his head. "Is that it?" he asks, telling himself to keep his temper in check but failing to do so. "Are we never going to be able to fucking work through this? I want to return to a sense of normality Reg! You finally fucking realized what's important in your life, and I was hoping that our friendship could be one of them. Guess that really doesn't fucking matter to you in the end."

Regulus forced himself to meet Scorpius' eyes and glowered at him. "Our friendship? I'm sorry, last I checked, that didn't matter to you in the least. So excuse me for misunderstanding, alright? I'm sorry."

"It fucking mattered to me," he mumbles, thinking back to his last knitting session when he realized that the whole situation had affected him greatly. "I just didn't realize it at the time. I was stubborn and stupid for letting you choose the path you did, without trying to help you in the slightest. I care about you," he murmurs, then averts his gaze because he feels terribly awkward right now.

Regulus opens his mouth to snap back with a rude retort, but stops himself. He didn't need to ruin this chance to repair things between them, if only for Viktor's sake- he knew that they were close friends. "I'm sorry, you know. For acting like I did, when I was fucking up."

"Everyone has moments in which they make bad decisions and do things that they regret," he says with a shrug. "It's what makes us human. If anything, the fact that we are able to at least sit here shows that we may able to work and eventually look past everything that has happened. That is...if you want to."

Regulus smiled a little, looking slightly hopeful. "... I would want to. I kinda miss your company- and I know it would make Viktor happy, if we could get along," he said. It would also be nice to have friends besides Fabian and Faye, even if I do love them both.

Scorpius flashes Regulus a relieved smile. "I'm...I'm glad," he says. "I mean, Viktor and I were talking, and it'd be nice to have the four of us, Viktor, Faye, you and I hang out sometime. I think Faye and Viktor would get along real well."

Regulus lights up at the mention of Faye. "Yeah, I was only just telling him the other day how well they'd get along," he replied, feeling slightly less awkward.

"I think it's a great idea," he says. "I'll just have to talk to Faye about it. If I ever see her that is," he mutters. "No worries though, I'll be sure to mention it the next time I see her."

Regulus smiles and stands up to go to his dorm to be squished into a tiny ball of emo by Gellert, because Eowyn really ought to go to bed soon and this seems like a nice timme to leave. "Right. Well, I'm glad we, uh, talked, then. But I'm gonna go get cleaned up," he said awkwardly, rubbing his neck where the bite marks were.

"Yeah, alright," he says in reply as Regulus stands up. "Well...I'll uhh, I'll see you soon." He's not really sure what else he can say at the moment because this turned sufficiently awkward. He watches as Reg leaves, then remains sitting in the common room because he has nothing else to do right now...so why not.
