"I just-I want it to go away..." she said softly. she closed her eyes and a tear fell down her cheek

He looked put his hand under her chin and lifted her face gently to look into her eyes. "We are going to get through this Penny. Eventually, things will get better." He says and takes his other hand and wipes the tear off her face. He puts both hands back around her, pulling her back into a hug. "I promise..."

He rested his head on hers and kept her held in a hug.

Marcus felt her fear and pulled her into his lap, still hugging her. "He's not going to get you. I won't let him near you."

He smiled down at her and ran his hand through her long hair and moved his hands back to her waist.

He looked into her eyes and smiled at her. He gently leaned down and kissed her very lightly on the lips. He pulled away quickly, not wanting her to freak out.
