Hannah walks up to a random tree and sits under it, assuming the people who were here before are now gone.

Fred walks around the lake and spots a very pretty girl sitting under a tree. He's hesitant about whether or not to approach her, so he remains where he is standing for a moment, while looking slightly awkward but totally sexy.

Hannah looks up and sees a slightly awkward but totally sexy guy hovering. She waves, noticing his Hufflepuff robes whether or not he's actually wearing them. Probably not because it seems that after year two no one actually wears robes anymore. According to the movies, anyways.

He sees her wave, and decides to go over and say hello. "Hi," he says giving her a smile as he reaches her. "Sorry for kind of stopping there. I realize that that may have been really creepy and you were probably debating whether to put me in St. Mungo's or Azkaban. I'm Fred," he introduces with a grin.

"Hannah." She says, smiling. "And I was thinking Azkaban. I hear the view is great this time of year." She tucks a stray piece of hair behind her ear and thinks about how cute this guy is. She is allowed to think, Dee can't be all-controling.

"Really? I'll be sure to go and visit then," he says after laughing lightly. Not only is this girl pretty, but she has a sense of humour too. "Who knows. They may have a cell all ready for me. Though, I hear that the beds aren't very comfortable. I mean, the Dementors suck, but an uncomfortable bed? Sounds like no fun to me."

"Not quite the common room," he replies with a slightly mischievous grin. "After all, what's so great about the common room? It seems to always be dead in there. It's a shame, really. I'm sure there are plenty of nice Puffs, but we all never hang out."

"Yes, I definitely agree. One things for sure, we definitely have an awesome location for a common room. I mean, I tend to go to the kitchens a lot," he says. "Extremely convenient to have them right there. In fact, the house elves know me by name. Though, don't tell my Aunt that, she would freak out and do more than send a Howler."

"The house elves know you by name? I would take that as my cue to stop visiting." She laughed, "Is you aunt one of those crazy house elf rights people? I mean, I understand where they're coming from but if the house elves like it, then..." She shrugs.

"Yeah, she is," he grins in reply. "Actually, she's very much into magical creature rights in general. I agree with you though," he says with a small shrug. "They are very happy and like to work. As long as they receive pay and vacation, I see no harm in people having house elves."

"Pay and vacation? Whatever floats your boat, I guess." She smiles, twiring a strand of hair around her finger. "Do the house elves here get paid?"

"Honestly, I'm not sure," he replies. "I mean, I don't think that they do. Or maybe some of them are just starting to get paid. My aunt has been working hard in the Ministry recently on trying to make sure that the Hogwart elves receive fair rights," he shrugs. "I dunno, they're happy though, so I don't think that they'll really notice a bit of money when or if it actually comes."

"Yeah. Anyways, what would they buy with it? Food? They get that anyways. Clothes? I guess they could buy furniture, but how many of them have homes?"

"Yeah, see... that's an excellent point. What would they really want? I mean, clothes make sense I suppose. Of course, my aunt would agrue just that. She'd say that it's the idea that they could buy whatever it is their little hearts desire," he says rolling his eyes. "But enough about house elves, tell me more about yourself," he says while smiling at her.

"Well, I'm a fifth year." She starts, counting things off on her fingers, "I don't have a favorite class because I'm more creative then smart. I like writing. I play bass guitar and piano..." She trails off, running out of intresting things. She shrugs and smiles at him.

"So you definitely have quite the creative side," he replies after she says how she likes to write and plays multiple instruments. "My mum tried to get me to play piano once, wasn't quite my thing," he says with a slight shrug. "Then again, I was real young and pounding and banging on the keys just seemed like loads more fun at the time. Bass guitar," he says thinking for a moment. "That's the one that's missing a few strings, right?"

"I didn't mean to insult it," he says immediately, feeling bad that he came across that way. In truth, his knowledge on instruments is very limited [even though Dom's knowledge is totally not limited]. "I'm just trying to picture what it looks like. It's a pretty big instrument if I recall. Though, really important in bands and whatnot. I remember a friend in primary school saying how the bass is the most important instrument, and that a band is not complete without it."
