"Penny hates me. That's what's wrong. She hates me." He mumbled and kept his gaze on the lake.

"I went to visit Tam.. Penny's cousin right? And the girl who also made Penny think she was pregnant when she wasn't.. anyway when I was there I kissed Tam right? And I told Penny because I thought hey maybe I should try and be the good guy and not lie. Anyway she totally flipped out and ran out on me. She wouldn't even let me explain. And now she hates me."

He looked over at her, his expression like a sad puppy that was sad. "How would you know if she loved me?"

Her heart melted at that expression. She wanted to comfort him. "I was in her body. I know...." She wasn't actually sure if that was Illie's feelings or Penny's, but she wanted him to feel better.

"Yeah...I just...I don't know." He shrugged. "I don't even know if she wants to talk to me." He looked over at her again with that sad puppy look.

He sighed. "I know this probably hurts to hear me say this Millicent...but I love her. I really do and I want to be with her..it's just...I don't know if she will take me back."
