Lucius smiles at Narcissa because the Blacks are really good at comforting people. "I have no idea. Not long, I hope. I really don't know what I'd do if it stayed like this. I've tried every spell. Every potion. Every hair product. Nothing works," he said with a long, dramatic sigh. "It's just...so...red."

Narcissa nodded. "It's quite red..." she said slowly. "But, think of it this way! I mean, whereas before you were more of a winter, you can now try the color schemes of autumns! And then, once you accomplish THAT, imagine how those people will feel? They'll feel quite foolish, knowing that not even red hair could bring Lucius Malfoy down, because Lucius Malfoy can overcome any fashion emergency there is." she says cheerfully.

Lucius chuckled slightly. "That's true. You really are sweet, Cissa," he said with a small smile, knowing that if he had to get married (which he did) then Narcissa would indeed make for the perfect bride. He sighed and pushed away those thoughts before smiling at Cissa again. "So, Regulus tells me you're quite the dancer," he said, for once in his life he didn't want to talk about himself. He'd go back to doing that when he was a blonde again.

Narcissa was a bit surprised at the change of subject--especially as they were talking about her--but she complied and crossed her legs. "Well, I've done dance for nearly twelve years, now." she said, a bit meekly. "I mean, Mother and Father like their children to be well-rounded, so both of my sisters took dance for some time as well. I wouldn't say I'm very good, though. Tap dancing is my weak point." she nodded.

Lucius smiled as he listened to Narcissa talk, actually being genuinely interest. Well, almost genuinely interested. He'd much rather talk about himself, but at least she wasn't boring like most people were to talk to. "Twelve years, huh? That's about as long as I've been dancing," he replid with a grin. "And don't worry too much about tap. I honestly don't even bother with it. I think it's rather silly looking to be honest."

Narcissa giggled at the tap comment. "Oh, what type of dancing do you do?" she asked, not knowing he had danced. "I can see you being a dancer, now that I think about it. You're... graceful, for lack of a better word." she smiled.

Lucius glows at the compliments and does a very lovely hair flip. "Oh, ballet, a little jazz, mostly ballroom though. We could dance together one day," he suggested, leaving out that he also does excellent strip teases and lap dances.

"That would be lovely." She beamed. "Ballet and ballroom are my favorite classes, although I've never taken jazz. That was more of Andromeda's forte." she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. "I bet you're a fantastic dancer."

Lucius smiled and shrugged as if he wasn't the best. "I suppose I am. I'm sure you're just as wonderful. That's why I'm so keen on dancing with you, Narcissa," he said with that silky, charming voice of his. Yup. His voice his silky. Like his hair.

Narcissa smiled. "Well then, it's a date." she stops at her poor word choice. "Well, no. Not a date-date. Well, that is to say... Not a romantic outing, of any sort... Unless you want it to be, I suppose, but I mean... I mean, it's an appointment, I guess. Unless you don't want it to be... you know?"

"A date sounds fine," he said with a charming smile. "Though, if this is a date then I'll have to buy you dinner first, won't I?" he asked as he tilted his head to the side. "I mean, it wouldn't be a date without an expensive dinner, am I right?"

Narcissa melted a bit inside, but lit up at the thought of going on a date with Lucius. "That..." she said, flustered. "That sounds great. I would love that, yes." she giggled.

Lucius grinned at her answer, not that it came as any surprise that she said yes. Hot damn. He got a date with Narcissa, even with his red hair and all. "I hoped you might," he said cheerfully. "Trust me, you won't regret saying yes to me. I'll make sure you have a good time," he said with a wink. "Not that you can't have fun when you're with Lucius Malfoy, of course."

Narcissa laughed. "Should I expect you to break out of your gentlemanly shell and reveal yourself to be a party animal or something?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Not that I would mind, really." Because we all know that as long as Narcissa is with Lucius, she's happy.

"You'd be surprised," he said with a smirk because Lucius really is a party animal. Sort of. "I have different sides to me, and I think you're going to like them all, Narcissa," he said, flashing that sexy smile of his again.

Narcissa giggled. Lucius sort of did that to her, reduced her into a sack of giggles... And blushing. That, too. "Well, I must say, I like you already. Although, I'm anxious to see your other sides, as well." she flipped her hair. "So, where, exactly, were you thinking of going to dinner? I mean, not that I question your tastes, but I wish to dress accordingly. You understand, right?"

Lucius grins, finding himself to like Cissa more and more. "Oh, I guess you didn't know that I like surprises, huh? Just dress in whatever you're comfortable in. Something nice, though I doubt you own anything that is less than acceptable."

Narcissa nodded. She liked her wardrobe, after all. "I only hope I can live up to your standards," she said, twirling a lock of hair around her index finger. "So, dinner and dancing? You must be a romantic at heart."

"I'm sure you'll have no trouble with that," he said as he gently reached over to twirl a lock of her hair around his finger. "And I'll only let you see my romantic side if you promise not to tell anybody. I do have a reputation, you know."

Narcissa blushed. Damn, and she had been doing so well, too. A whole four posts without her blushing around Lucius--a record, I'd say. "Your secret is safe with me," she said softly, allowing for her hand dropping from her hair to her lap. She smiled shyly--she liked Lucius playing with her hair. It felt nice.

Lucius smiled and continued playing with Narcissa's hair. It was soft. Almost as soft as his, if not just as soft. "Your hair really is lovely. I have a sterling silver brush if you'd ever trust me to brush it," he says as he looks into Cissa's greyish-blue eyes.

"Do you really?" she asked, her eyes lighting up at the thought. "I had one as a child, but Bellatrix took it and it's been lost ever since. But I would be honored to have my hair brushed with that." she fingers Lucius's hair as well and doesn't think about how weird this must look. Like, seriously. Think about it. Pretty weird, huh? "I mean, just look at your hair. It's stunning. Of course I would trust you to brush my own."
