Molly puffs herself up, making her tiny frame ever so less tiny, but suddenly far more intimidating. It's especially cool how her face looks kinda thunderous, and her eyes get all snappy. "OhmyGod, Gideon, what the hell is wrong with you!? Your girlfriend, like, goes off and snogs some Slytherin sleaze for totally no good reason and you, what? Wanna talk to him before we kill him? You're seriously letting Polly off scot-free on this one? Merlin, she has done a number on you, hasn't she!?"

Gideon cowers slightly - sweet Merlin, Molly Prewett can be scary sometimes. "FINE, Molly. You go talk to her, WHATEVER. Just, I'm actually trying to move on a bit. I REALLY like her, and everyone makes mistakes, okay?" He says in an exasperated manner. "Ali, what do you think of our potential battle plan?" He asks, trying to change the topic slightly.

Have YOU been giving it to her?" she asks Gideon, because clearly Alice is off the reservation again. Everyone knows Weeping Angels come in sets of 4! "And FINE! I WILL talk to her! Whatever! You know why? Because I, like, care about my family Gideon, and I'm going to make sure she doesn't do something like this to you again. What did you expect me to do? Like, bake her a pie? What would you do if you were in my shoes, hmm? And it was my boyfriend who had snogged someone else? Hypothetical boyfriend," she adds quickly, just to clarify.

"Hy-po-the-ti-cal," Molly says slowly, breaking it down and doing very well not to hyperventilate. She also loves Alice very much for not saying anything about Kingsley right now, because THAT conversation needs to wait until Molly is good and stoned. Yep yep. "You do, like, know the meaning of the word, right Giddy? Alice, how come you never told me about the Angels before now?" she asks, slightly hurt. "You totally should've gotten them to deal with Regulus Black, you know."

"What the actual fuck is a Regulus Black? Some kind of STD?" she asks with a stoner face. And then it hits her. "MOLLY. YOU HAVE AN STD?" And Alice would never tell about Kingsley Fucking Shacklebolt. NO SIR.

"Ali, a Regulus Black is actually a person, you know? Or, maybe you don't." Gideon grins and shrugs. "Molly," he says very seriously, with a terribly nerdy expression on his face, "I do actually know SOME things, you know. You don't actually think I have a brain sometimes, do you? HYPOTHETICAL. I realise that it means something that does not actually in fact exist, but, you see, I also know a little bit about social conventions, and when someone says something, and then rehashes it by adding the word 'hypothetical', that usually does tend to mean that they are covering up something. In your case, a boy." He breathes in deeply, then out. "WOW. That was most definitely enough nerdiness for one day. Now, Molly, what are you hiding?"

Molly stares at Gideon for several very long seconds. Her face is a mask of shock, but she's also doing some very quick thinking. She glances at Alice briefly and then sighs, shrugging a little as if to say 'well, screw it, he was bound to find out eventually'. "That's, like, the smartest thing you've ever said," she comments. "Bummer. You couldn't have pulled your usual oblivious act for me, could you? No... didn't think so. Double bummer. Ok so I know you're, like, totally going to freak out because that's what you do. You're Gideon, and you overreact when it comes to me and Alice and that's totally cool and I love you super heaps for looking out for us and all. And if we're going with the social convention form of hypothetical, then, well, hypothetically there's this guy. With whom I'm hypothetically going on a date. And I, like, really really like him and I don't want you to do that thing where you make angry noises around guys and then they go away, ok? Please, Giddikins?" she asks, stating up at him with her eyes wide and bright and her face set in the sweetest expression that just screams 'you love your favourite baby sister and want her to be happy, don't you?'

It takes Gideon a moment to process what Molly actually said in amongst all that conjecture. And yes, he does know what conjecture means. I think. "Yes, I am Gideon. I won't overreact, but I would like to meet this guy. Preferably before you go on said socially conventional hypothetical date." He looks over at Alice, and sighs a little. "You knew, I suppose?"

Alice just like, doesn't listen to that whole monologue and she finishes her watermelon and makes an ant city with the green parts. "Yes, I did," she says, looking up when Gideon addresses her. "But I was never going to tell you. I'm working on my brain to mouth filter."

'What's a brain to mouth filter?" Molly asks. Then she eyes Gideon, still a little weary. "I don't know if that's, like, the bestest idea ever, Giddy," she finally says. "I kinda want to see how it goes before I do anything rash, like inflict my family on him. And I'm totally certain he's not, like, a serial killer or anything because he'd totally have killed me by now if he was going to," she adds, trying to ease her brother's mind. She shoots a grin down at Alice, grateful that she'd kept Molly's confidence.

Gideon sighs, much more dramatically this time, placing a hand on his forehead in mock distress. "Okay, okay, okay. Whatever. But you know I'm only saying this because of what happened. If any boyfriend, hypothetical or no, does anything to you, I WILL KILL THEM." Gideon looks at them both for a moment, "Just saying."

Molly nods at Alice. "That's totally true," she comments. "Besides, it's only a date, right? So I, like, don't even technically or hypothetically have a boyfriend right now, right?" she says, but colours a little because she knows there's definite potential there. Then she gives Gideon a big bear hug, because teeny tiny little Molly is an awesome hugger, and Gid totally deserves one. "I would be, like, shocked if that wasn't the case! Thanks, Giddy."

Gideon hugs Molly tight, grabbing Alice and pulling her into a hug as well. "Any time, sis. Well, I should probably get going. You know, talk to some people I'm not related to or something. It'd probably make a nice change! You staying?"

Alice, who is now dressed in a Godzilla suit, grumbles as Gideon pulls her into the Prewett hug pile. "Let me destroy my city now," she says, pushing Gideon and Molly off her and stomping all over the watermelon.
