Re: The Library: A Study Table
"Chocolates would be nice actually" She mumbled under her breath. Then she remembered that she was actually in the middle of an argument, "I am judgmental, okay? I am a walking contrdiction. I am judgement. I try to be nice but I have a firey temper. If you can't deal with that leave. But if you really like me then you have to learn to deal with it, because that is who I am. And I will not change that for you, or anyone else." She said confidently looking him straight in the eyes. She would not apologise for something that she could not help. "I am flawed. I am not perfect okay?" She ignored his comment about her leaping back into his arms. It was the heat of the moment. And man was it a heated moment. Damn that Zabini for seeing them.
Re: The Library: A Study Table
Marco stared at her a moment, amazed. She was so sure of herself. She knew exactly who she was and she wasn't going to change for anyone, and that certainty in herself was... well, brilliant. He blinked, surprised, and let go of her arm to just look at her. "Huh. You're sure something, Bell. I can't figure you out, and... I guess it's because of your whole walking contradiction thing you've got going on." He sighed. "Whatever it is, as much as I might hate it, you've got me hooked. I can't just walk away from you and leave this alone. Not for long. But you can damn well bet that I'm not letting you judge me. I don't care how judgmental of a person you may or may not be, I don't deserve it, and I won't take it. Not from you, and not from anybody."

Katie was surprised that he took that so well, "You don't deserve to be judged and as I said, I am sorry... Another thing about me, I rarely say sorry," She shot him a quick smile. He really wasn't that bad. He seemed honest and true. Maybe there was something here? "If you can't walk away, I am going to have to. You know that the others won't stand for this..."
Re: The Library: A Study Table
Well that was a complete turnaround. Maybe she was bipolar as well as judgmental. He relaxed as she stopped shouting, hoping all the stares they were still receiving would soon bugger off. "Why care what they think? Why even bother with all that confidence you have if you're going to worry what others think of you, Katie? Don't walk away from me unless it's really what you want to do. I'm running out of chances to give you."

Re: The Library: A Study Table
"I don't care what they think about me. It what they will do to you if they find out. Look, I know its weird how one minute I ma crazy bitch and the next I am this, but its just so new to me. A Slytherin and a Gyriffindor. Its so strange. I won't go then. I will stay. But what then?" She asked leaning back into the bookcase looking up at him.
Re: The Library: A Study Table
"You don't need to worry about me, Katie." He shook his head, feeling strangely happy that she'd worried more for him than herself in her distaste for this situation. "There are spells I learned in Italy that they don't teach here. I'll be fine. Is it really so unacceptable for a Slytherin and a Gryffindor to be together? Is all of Hogwarts really as shallow as that? Come on, Katie. I need a yes or no. Can you be with a Slytherin right now, or can't you?" He waited, staring at her with a blank face. He'd accept her answer one way or another, as that's all he could do. At least until later, when he knew they would talk again and everything would change all over again, as it always seemed to for them.

Re: The Library: A Study Table
"I do worry... You don't know this school like I do Marco..." She looked up worried for the first time, "People here have no limits, I have seen it Marco. other students hurting others, with no regret. It is a dangerous world." She blinked coming to a decision, "And I won't drag you into this. Not yet. You have only been here 3 days and here I am dragging you into the middle of a battle you have no part in. I won't do that." She pushed past him and made for the exit. But she only made it a few feet before she had to turn around and look at him... to explain. "This isn't because of you being Slytherin, or anything to do with things like that. Its this school. The people in it. I want you to know, this is for you. Not me okay?" And she turned and walked away. How was it possible she felt that way about someone so early on in the school year. She had hardly known Marco, yet here she was feeling like she was leaving a part of her behind. It was for his safety.
Re: The Library: A Study Table
Marco watched her leave, completely disappointed except for the fact that it gave a great view of her ass as she exited. He groaned in frustration, hitting the wall with his fists before he picked up his bag and left the library himself, off to find somewhere quiet to read. This stupid school and its stupid prejudices wouldn't stop him from getting Katie. He just needed time and a plan and he would change her mind. He could change Katie Bell, and he would find a way to do it if it killed him. Which, from the way she was talking, it very well could.

Re: The Library: A Study Table
Neville walked into the library with a book, sat down at a table, opened it, and began to read.

Viktor walks in to see if Hermione is around. She's not. How sad. But he sees a studious student reading for class. Geez. People here were studying already? It'd only been three days since class started! He sits down and opens up a book of his own, trying to read a page before giving up. This was boring. "Hello there. I'm Viktor."

Neville slowly looks up with a huge grin on his face. Like a total creeper. He stares at him for a few seconds before his jaw just drops. "Do you know who you are?" He asked stupidly like all crazy dimnats do in the movies.

Viktor smirked. "Me? I'm Viktor Krum. It's you I don't know," he said with a laugh. "I'm a transfer student, so I'm still getting to know the people here. Looks like ve are in the same house though."

Re: The Library: A Study Table
Neville closed his mouth after staring for a few more seconds and grinned at him. He raised his hand up slowly and waved frantically. "I'm Neville Longbottom. Seventh year, Gryffindor, Courage and Chivalry, the colors of Scarlet and Gold!" He said and didn't even realize until after that he had thrown his fist up in the air. He smiled sheepishly and slowly lowered his fist.

Viktor grinned, holding back more laughter. He liked this Neville guy already. "Vell, aren't you a proud Gryffindor," he said happily. "I really like being in that house so far. Everyvon I've met seems really friendly so far, though I've met people from some of the other houses and I haven't met anyvon I don't like yet. Nice to meet you, Neville," he said as he held out his hand across the table to properly shake Neville's hand.

Re: The Library: A Study Table
Neville grinned at him. "Yes, Most of the people here at Hogwarts are very friendly, and nice, and sharing, and kind, and helpful." He said and stopped because he realized he was rambling on and on and on. He blinked at Viktor's hand and then looked up at Viktor's face and blinked a few times. He looked back down at his hand and thought. Hmm, I'm usually a hugger but I guess I could try this. He slowly reached his hand out hesitantly and shook Viktor's hand a little shakily.

Viktor likes hugs too, but he would be a little worried if Neville hugged him. He'd think that the guy was trying to feel him up, or that he was planning to steal his shirt and run off to sell it to fangirls for a profit. It's been known to happen in the past. He smiled and firmly shook Neville's hand before pulling away. "Vot's that you're reading there? You can't honestly be studying for classes already," he said with a light laugh.

Re: The Library: A Study Table
"Oh, No. It's not for classes. Just some light reading for fun!" he said with a grin. "It's the Planetary Herbology Book." he says and shows it to Viktor. "It's very good actually. I would highly recommend it to anyone." He says with a large grin. "It mostly talks about plants and how they can be used medically. It is quite useful in a time of need." he says pointing the corner of the book at Viktor.

Re: The Library: A Study Table
Light reading? For fun? Wonder if Hermione knows this guy. "That sounds nice. So you like plants?" he asked as he examined the book briefly before looking back up at Neville. "I'll be sure to check it out the next time I'm looking for something to keep me entertained, though I usually prefer books about Quidditch."

"Oh, I love plants. Herbology is my favorite subject out of them all." He says with a large grin. "I highly recommend you do. It can teach you a lot." He says with a small smile. "Quidditch isn't really my forte. I'm not really coordinated at all, in any shape or form. So, yeah."

Viktor shrugged. "It's not for everybody, but it's cool that you've got your own thing vith the Herbology hobby. So, are you planning on being a Herbologist or something after school?"

"Well." He said with a grin. "I actually want to work here! At Hogwarts, the school!" He says with a grin. "I want to be the Herbology teacher!" He says nodding.

"Oh, Of course it would be okay with me! You're Viktor Krum." He says grinning at him. "So what are you reading?" He asks glancing at the book that Viktor hardly even opened when he walked in.

"It's just some book for my Muggle Studies class," he said as he showed Neville the book. "Ve didn't have that back at Durmstrang so I find it pretty interesting to learn about them."

Neville nodded. "Yeah, I took muggle studies last year." He says with a smile. "It was very interesting, how different they live, how they do almost everything by hand. It's odd, but interesting." He says still smiling because how could you not smile while next to Viktor Krum.
