Pansy groaned looking at them, rather disappointed that she would not get any. They really did look fantastic. "You tease me." Glaring at him, she bumped into him so that she could get back to her sauce stirring spoon once again. The noodles looked about ready and the meatballs were done, and Pansy was quite excited for Marco's delicious Italian dinner.

"Indeed, and what a shame it is." Marco smirked yet again at her, picking up two bowls for them and scooping spaghetti noodles into each of them. He placed several meatballs on top of his bowl of spaghetti, and then took the spoon from her hand to pour sauce over the top of them both. "Your dinner," he said, picking up the bowls and carrying them over to the small table in the kitchen, "is served." He charmed a pair of forks from the drawer and some napkins, and got them two glasses which he filled with a bit of wine, which was honestly the best thing to have with spaghetti like this. He tugged Pansy's chair out for her, because that's what Italian sons do for nice girls, and then sat down across from her and dug in once she had started as well.

Pansy stared at the meatballs for a little while. They just looked so good, but if this experiment was to be functional, she couldn't sneak and have one. They were obviously cursed meatballs of deliciousness, and any girl who ate one was destined to disappear. Unless it was the spaghetti or the sauce rather than the meatballs. If that was the case, she was doomed. Shrugging it all off, it looked too good to waste, and she twirled her fork in the long noodles, taking a bite of them. "This is really great!" She said that after she swallowed her food, of course, as only mudbloods talk with their mouths full.

"I am glad you think so, Pansy." Marco picked up his glass and took a sip of wine, then cut a meatball in half and ate it, dragging it around in the sauce first so that it was fully coated and perfectly delicious. "So, hopefully you're right about the cursed meatballs, and you'll be just fine. But I do expect to hear from you on a regular basis, so that I know my cooking hasn't caused Hogwarts the loss of another student to an unknown location, wherever my doomed Italian dinner eating girls have been swept away to."

"Of course. I'll check in with you as long as you promise you'll make me more dinners?" She gave him a hopeful smile before taking another bite of spaghetti, washing it down with a sip of wine, which was also delicious and went with the sauce and noodles very well. They ate and chatted randomly for a little while, catching up on other things that had been going on in each others lives since they really haven't talked in ages since Draco nearly hit Pansy and Marco installed himself as her ever-watching body guard for those few weeks. Eventually their bowls and glasses were both empty.

Marco flicked his wand to move the dirty dishes to the sink, extending his hand once again for Pansy to get up from the table. After she placed her hand in his, he tugged playfully on her arm to bring her back toward the fridge. "And in good Italian tradition, dessert is now needed. Generally I offer my lips for dessert, but I think with you, something else is in order." She waggled his eyebrows jokingly before pulling the fridge door open and reaching toward the back of the top shelf, where he kept a special secret stash of some of his favorite things.

"Yes, as lovely as I am sure they are for the others, something different would be great." Pansy laughed, trying to peek into the fridge to see what he was searching for. But it was far over her head and she couldn't see until he pulled out a medium sized white box and sat it on the counter. "What is it?"

"Ahh, you'll love it, I hope." He opened the lid and inside was a big slice of tiramisu, sprinkled perfectly with cocoa powder on top, the lady fingers at the bottom perfectly soaked with just the right amounts of expresso and liqueur, and a good thick layer of creamy mascarpone cheese on top of that. "My great-grandmama's recipe, though it was passed down through the family for years and years before that. Every generation had changed a little something, perfecting the recipe a little bit more, but I think she managed to get it just right and neither my mother nor I plan on changing a single thing." Handing her a fork, he folded the sides of the box down so that they could better get to the slice of cake inside. Not shy at all, he helped himself to one end, rotating it a little so she could better reach the other end.

Pansy stared at it, never having tried this 'tier-uh-miss-oo" before. She took the fork from him, expecting quite a lot from this cake since it had been perfected for so long and he spoke so highly of it. "Well, let's just see what your great-grandmama has come up with..." She gave him an analyzing look before taking her fork and scooping off a corner, eating it. "Wow. That's amazingly good. I very well might need you to make this and share it more often." She smiled and took another bite, larger this time.

Marco laughed, clearly pleased that she liked it. "Good, good. And I'll tell you a little secret." He leaned down to whisper to her, as if there were people who might overhear. "It is very rare that I do not have a piece or two sitting in the top back of the fridge. Now I know you can't reach it, but a little accio should do the trick, yeah?" He leaned back again and grinned at her, taking another bite for himself. It wasn't long before they were fighting over the final bites in the middle of the cake, and then it was gone. "I suppose I shall let you get back to your reading now?"

Pansy finished up her half of the cake, doing what she could to steal a bit of his half as well. New favorite dessert? She thinks so. "That is a very good secret to know." She grinned back at him, definitely planning on taking advantage of this new knowledge of excellent dessert hiding places. "Yep, back to the library for me. I was going to meet Draco there in an hour or two anyway. But thank you very much for dinner and I promise not to disappear on you like the others." With a laugh, she handed him her fork and they headed toward the door.

"Well, give him my greetings when you see him, so long as he won't be bothered by the fact I brought his girl down here to make her dinner." Marco grinned, pushing the door open and holding it to let her through first. "I will see you tomorrow." He didn't say it like a question, because he had better see her tomorrow, or else that delicious sauce or spaghetti was cursed, and that would be a damn shame. Before she left, he made her promise she would come see him tomorrow, and he took her hand, pressed a kiss to her knuckles, and let her go on her way.

[I posted here because the other kitchen is busy]
Vee and Rose skipped into the kitchen, victorious in their hot chocolate quest, holding the scrap of paper that the recipe was written on like a trophy. "Alright. We need 3 bars of honeyduke's best chocolate, 5 cups of milk, some sugar, cocoa powder, and..." Vee squinted at the recipe "Some powdered unicorn horn I think it says. That explains why muggle hot chocolate can't compare." Vee took out a pot for the hot chocolate and threw in the bars of chocolate.

Rose was already rummaging through the cupboards, "I got the sugar and cocoa powder!" She placed them on the counter next to the pot, "Powdered unicorn horn?" She double checked the recipe over Vee's shoulder, "Do they even keep that in the kitchen?" Breaking into the potions cupboard seemed like a much larger task. Instead, she pulled out her want. "Accio powdered unicorn horn!" Sure enough, a jar came flying out of one of the sketchier looking cupboards and into her hand.

"Well that was easy." Vee said, surprised. "That makes me a bit curious as to what else they are putting in our food. I don't want to know, actually." She decided, taking out the milk and pouring it into the chocolate that was slowly melting in the pot on the stove. "Want to stir?" Vee asked, offering the wooden spoon to Rose

"Yeah... I think I'll stay away from that cupboard." Rose took the spoon from Vee with a small smile and began mixing the chocolate and milk together. "You know, powdered unicorn hair is probably really expensive. Isn't killing a unicorn suppose to be terrible?" She asked, wondering how much money they just wasted to make this. No, not wasted. There's no waste involved with chocolate.

"You don't have to kill them to get their horn" Vee said, examining the shimmery powder in the jar. "There is no waste in chocolate. And I'm sure they can get more, they sell it at the apothecary, but it costs 21 galleons" she watched Rose stir the powder into the thick chocolate liquid.

Rose smiled, "Well, then. No harm done." She peered at the recipe and then back into the pot, "I think it's time to add the cocoa. It smells really good." She was already believing that this was going to be the best hot chocolate she'd ever taste.

They sprinkled in the cocoa powder and stirred it in. "This smells TOO good!" Vee exclaimed joyfully. "And I have whipped cream, which no hot chocolate would be complete without." She pulled a container from the pocket of her robes.

"No, I just happen to carry whipped cream with me at al times" Vee joked. "I like a lot too, so I have extra." And the container was almost full, except for the bit she just but in her mouth. "Whipped cream and hot chocolate. This is a very good day."

Vee took a dramatic breath, dissolved into giggles, and added the powder to the mixture, where it gave it a glowing quality. "This better be the real recipe" Vee said suspiciously as she divided the hot, thick drink into two mugs and dolloped whipped cream on with a heavy hand.
