Viktor grins. "I'm a pretty good chef but I'm not so great at inventing new things. Just recipes my family taught me and some others I taught myself from recipe books."

OH MY GOD...*drools* *wants too*
"Well, following recipes is a lot better than guessing as you go along sometimes." Yeah, bad things can happen otherwise. Though they got pretty lucky that first time in 1.0. Haha. Remus smiled.

"Yeah, though that can be fun too," he said with a grin, thinking of some time he and Kras tried baking something together without a recipe and ended up making this really random, but yummy, snack. Yep, just made that story up for them. "But I do prefer a recipe ven I'm cooking."

Aww, my Inner!Kras just flailed happily. "Me too." Remus grinned. "Hm, what time is it?" I guess we'll have to end this scene soon huh? <.< "I should probably be getting that pie to Dean at some point."

Viktor checks his watch because he's already turned 17, so he got one for his birthday of course. "Right. It is getting pretty late. I hope Dean likes your pie though. I'm sure he vill, it looks amazing," he said with a grin, thinking of how Remus was just the sweetest guy ever.

Re: Another Kitchen
"Thanks, Viktor." Remus smiled happily, thinking of how Viktor was just the nicest, sweetest guy ever. Hehe. He gave Viktor a big hug, kissing him lightly on the cheek, before getting up. He grabbed the dishes they'd used and placed them in the sink and they started washing themselves cause they're MAGICAL. WOOO! He grabbed the pie he'd made for Dean and turned back to Viktor. "I'll see you then." He smiled and then left the kitchen, heading to Gryffindor to give his brother the pie.

"See you, Remus," he said with a small smile before getting up and going off to someplace fun to do fun things.

Molly is in a corner of the kitchens, having been left alone by the house elves. They know she's got things covered in here. She just needs a break from the ridiculous amounts of studying she's been doing - she's still a little pale, and relying on makeup to cover the dark circles under her eyes. Before long, Molly has about three ovens and countless mixing bowls worth of baked goods on the go, smiling slightly to herself because she feels competent and in control when she's baking.

Re: Another Kitchen
Kingsley comes in, intent on just getting some coffee because he's going to be up late tutoring some second years again. He smells Molly's baking before he sees her and, after getting his coffee - by himself because he doesn't want to trouble the house elves - he turns to see what's going on. He's quite surprised to see Molly's got about three ovens working and stuff everywhere. "That's quite a lot of baking you're doing." he wouldn't have commented except he couldn't help being interested as to why she was baking so much.

Molly tosses her hair over her shoulder and looks around, having been so caught up in what she's doing that she hadn't noticed Kingsley's approach. The little smile hasn't quite died from her face and she freezes for a moment when she sees it's Kingsley, her eyes widening almost imperceptibly for a second, until she clears her throat and fiddles with the ends of her hair. Oh, bugger, there's a tiny bit of chocolate cake batter smudged on her shirt - should've remembered the apron. "It's nothing," she says quickly. "It's just that, like, everyone has a different favourite, so..." she trails off and shrugs, as if to say 'that's the way it is'.

"Ah, I see." He takes a sip of his coffee because he hates cold or warm coffee so he has to drink it now while it's hot. "Well, that's nice." Oh, there's a tiny bit of chocolate cake batter on her shirt. How messy. He does think it's rather nice of her though to be making stuff for other people, and she was so considerate as to make different things because she understood everyone has different favorites. He almost smiles a tiny bit himself. Woot. Yeah. Lame post is lame cause I have to go.

Molly shrugs again and tries to hold back a gream because Kingsley just acknowledged that she was nice. She swipes the back her hand across her forehead, accidentally leaving a little smudge of flour on her skin, and focuses her attention back on her tasks. She moves easily, loading up cake tins and baking trays with batter and dough, adjusting oven temperatures and checking timers. Being in such a natural environment helps Molly relax, but her nervousness lets itself out in her incessant babbling.
"It's no trouble, really. It's just that, like, one of my brothers loves chocolate chip cookes, and the other one totally goes for the m&ms cookies. And I thought my sister would totally like some cupcakes, and I'm sorta trying this thing where you, like, substitute pineapple for apple in an apple tea cake because Viktor totally has a thing for pineapple which I don't even get, but whatever, he likes it so it's all good. And then I figured while I was at it, it'd be nothing to, like, whip up a chocolate cake or something for my friend Remus. I'm pretty sure he loves chocolate even more than Viktor loves pineapple, like, as if he'd marry it if that was legal, you know? Whatever. And he just seemed sort of bummed out about something when I talked to him last, so I thought maybe it would help him feel better."
And that's the point where Molly realises that Kingsley gets annoyed by excessive chatter, and that her oral essay there would probably be a tad excessive in Kingsley's world view. She flushes slightly and turns her face downwards on the pretense of checking that the dough for Gideon's chocolate chip cookies is all rolled into the right sized portions so that they'll cook just the way he likes them.

Re: Another Kitchen
Yeah. Kingsley was pretty much expecting Molly to start babbling on like that. Inner!Remus would like Molly to know that, yes, while he would just love to marry chocolate if it was legal, he's much more happier having married Hermione. Yeah, that's right - he loves Hermione more than chocolate and we all know how much he loves chocolate. Yep yep.
Kingsley is getting annoyed by her babbling - he'd told himself to just accept the fact that that's what she does, but it was tough because it annoyed him so much - and this is usually the point where he tells her to be quiet or something and then they start fighting again. "Well that's nice of you. Did you really have to-" he stops mid sentence and sighs. He was about to say 'did you really have to go into every little detail about it though?' which would have most definitely started another lovely fight, but he stopped himself. It was tiring to fight all the time and right now Molly was baking things for her friends - he didn't want to interrupt her anymore than he already had, plus he really did think it was nice of her to be doing all this. "Nevermind." he shook his head and finished his coffee, "I have to go. Have fun." And with that he turned and left.

Re: Another Kitchen
Molly's insides do a little happy dance when Kingsley repeats how nice he thinks what she's doing is, but she looks up in confusion at his cutoff sentence. "No, what were you going to say?" she asks, curious and willing to do anything to prolong the conversation. Then he announces his departure and Molly's face falls a little, she has to work to keep the disappointment from colouring the tone of her voice. "Oh. Right. Like, whatever," she says, turning back to concentrate on baking because she doesn't want to watch him walk out the door.
When she knows he's gone, Molly sighs, a frout replacing the little smile she'd worn earlier. She finishes up with what she's doing, packs everything into containers charmed to seal in the freshness, cleans up her workspace and leaves the kitchens behind. Well, that had worked as a distraction and a mood lifter for about ten minutes, and now Molly is left feeling even more dejected than when she began.

Re: Another Kitchen
Caradoc walks in after Pansy, grabbing a chair next to the table and sitting down, brushing his no-longer-blonde hair back out of his eyes. "So, I really have no idea how to cook anything, not even toast, so unless you've gotten lessons from the family servant, we're gonna need an elf," he remarked, glancing around for that cool Dobby guy who makes good sammiches.
Re: Another Kitchen
Pansy laughed, realizing they were pretty hopeless as all she could ever do in here was search the cabinets and fridge for something she could eat straight out of the container. "Hmmm. Good point." Spotting an elf scampering about the far end of the kitchen, she called the little elf over and asked her to make them some food, an epic sandwich of epicness for Rad and after some contemplation she decided on a basket of fish and chips for herself because Ashley really wants some right now. Pulling up a chair of her own, she sat down and then realized something. "Wait, no more blonde? When did that happen?"
Re: Another Kitchen
"Like two days ago? Yesterday? Hell if I know, I've kinda lost track of time, these days, and I can't honestly blame the gillyweed for that one either this time," he laughed, glancing at his reflection in the decorative mirror on the wall. "Got bored, I guess. I don't like to spend any time sulking, so generally changing things up and distracting myself works well for me, hence why I dyed the hair. It's better than moping," he said brightly.
Re: Another Kitchen
"True enough." She wondered if she ought to play with her hair instead of moping, but figured she'd make a horrible blonde or red-head, so that wasn't really an option at all. Maybe studying was what she was doing in place of moping, though moping while studying didn't solve any problems. "Anything's better than moping. Always makes me feel so pathetic." Pansy shrugged, realizing she had been doing more moping than studying recently, and that should probably be fixed soon. "Why were you avoiding moping, though, if you don't mind me asking? You always seem so cheerful."
Re: Another Kitchen
"Well, I suppose I'm always cheerful, because I happen to like being cheerful, and being un-cheerful sucks when you like being cheery-- I need to stop babbling, now. Right. Mostly just insignificant boy troubles, if you want the honest answer-- nothing that's of much importance, as I'm sorting it out. I no longer have a five foot tall demonic redhead after my blood for messing with her brother, so that's certainly a plus. I still have to talk to him, though, I haven't really seen him since I fucked things up, though I think I told you about that already, did I?" he asked, only half paying attention as his mind returned to Fabian, again. RAD, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER, MATE. IT'S DRIVING EOWYN CRAZY THAT AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT A PART OF HER BRAIN IS GOING 'OOOOH JARED PADALECKI.'
Re: Another Kitchen
"Yeah, I think you did. A five foot redhead demon, huh? Sounds horrifying." She laughed a little, looking over as the elf was coming back, only a pair of scurrying legs under a massive tray with a huge sandwich and a basket of steaming fish and chips. She wasn't sure why she was hungry. Probably just from seeing Draco and seeing how he hadn't been eating and what it had done to him. Something about it made her want to actually remember to eat normal meals every once in a while. She shook her thoughts away from Draco again, because they always seem to stray there. "Thanks," she muttered to the elf, picking up her food and grabbing a fork. "So you going to talk to him and get it all figured out, I assume?"
Re: Another Kitchen
"I love house elves," he said happily, digging into his sammich while pondering her question. "I don't really know. I think it'd be best if I don't seek him out, but I won't avoid him or prevent him from finding me, if he awnts to talk. I agreed to stay out of Molly's way, but I said nothing about Fabian," he said, taking another bite. "He said earlier he wanted to still be friends, but seeing him that hurt and upset, I'm not sure how much I can really believe that, you know? But then, it was an upsetting conversation, more so for him than me, I guess. Though I'm so thankful he didn't cry, I thought he might. I never know what to do when people cry, ever, it triggers the fight or flight reflex in me, and it's usually flight that I go with. What the hell do you do when a dude starts crying, I don't know!?"
Re: Another Kitchen
"Yeah, crying in situations like that is always a little awkward. I'd probably try and find a way to get out of there as well." She shrugged, not sure who she'd end up making cry like that. Probably no one. Draco wasn't a crier, well except for those damn nightmares, but that was a different situation entirely and she'd hold him until the tears stopped and until he moved away. Or at least she used to. Things were different now and... Pansy. Stop it. You think about Draco too much. "Well I hope you can figure it out. Maybe he just took it hard at first and needed a little time to process it and things will be okay now? You never know. I guess as long as you don't step in Molly's path and Fabian finds you on his own, there's nothing they could blame you for."
