"Excuse me?" Scorpius said in a slightly low tone. "A ceremonial dance? DO YOU THINK THIS IS SOME KIND OF JOKE KRUM? DO YOU? THIS IS AN EXTREMELY SERIOUS MATTER AND I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ARE MAKING LIGHT OF THIS SITUATION! I AM TEACHING YOU SOMETHING OF HIGH IMPORTANCE! I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE HONOURED TO KNOW!" Viktor bites his lip to keep from laughing because he doesn't see how this is serious, and the idea of kissing the bread is pretty silly. "Okay, bossy," he says with a laugh as he starts working on the sammich. "Somevon's cranky today, and I have a feeling it's all my fault. Vould a kiss make it any better?" he asks as he looks up at Scorpius with those big, innocent puppy dog eyes.

"You kissing the bread would make it better," he said crossing his arms over his chest. "Sorry," he mumbled, realizing he was turning into quite the little freak right now. "It's just...it's been ten days since I've gotten laid," he pouted.

It's true. Scorpius is a little freak right now. And he's downright rude. "Oooh. Rough," he said with a sympathetic look even though he hasn't gotten laid since Cedric because, well, he hasn't been in a relationship and he's usually not one for fucking random people. "Sorry about that." He finishes up the sammich and kisses both sides of the bread. Yep. He did it. "Is that all?" he asked softly.

"It's alright, just haven't been in the right mood lately," he said with a slight shrug. He took the sammich from Viktor and inspecting it carefully. "Yeah...looks like it's pretty good to me. Pudge should like it a lot. You seem to have quite a decent proportion of peanut butter to each square centimeter of bread. Good job! Now, we have to bring it Pudge. Though he just had one, he's usually a hungry little guy and will probably love having a sammich from you. Think you can handle swimming in the lake?" he asked.

Scorpius eyes widened in shock. "You don't....you don't know how to swim?!" he repeated because he is very gullible when it comes to things that his colouring buddy says. "Oh sweet Merlin. Not only am I teaching you how to make a sandwich for Pudge...but I'm teaching you how to swim. No worries knitting buddy! I will teach you how to swim and if you drown...don't fear! I'm pro at CPR." Scorpius then took Viktor's hand and led him out of the kitchens while holding the sandwich for Pudge.

Molly is sitting cross-legged on the bench, flipping through a recipe book because she's in the mood to bake. Maybe it's because she hasn't been baking all that much lately that she feels like she's lost her mojo. Yeah, that's all it is.

Gideon wanders in in search of some food - oh look, Molly's here. Why is he pleased but not surprised? Anywho, he walks over to the bench, sitting on a bar stool and leaning forward, his face on his hands. "Hey, you. What'cha making?"

Molly looks up and greams. Oh, is it snack time already? She could totally set her watch to Gideon's stomach. You know, if she bothered to wear a watch. "Hey Giddy, whatcha doin'? I'm thinking of doing something, like, just a little different today. Look at this one - looks kinda cool, right?" she says, shoving the recipe book under his nose for inspection.

Gideon blinks rapidly, pushing the recipe book away from his face so that he can actually see it. You know, being able to see things does tend to help. And Molly doesn't need a watch, because she could just wait for Gideon to show up - he does it at the same time every day, pretty much. "Nothin' much," he shrugs, "But that looks good. Need an assistant?"

Molly wrinkles her nose and gives Gideon a long, appraising stare. It's serious business, being in the kitchen with Molly Prewett after all. Eventually, Molly gives a tentative nod. "Ok. But, like, seriously Gid, you totally have to follow my directions. Ok? Ok! Alrighty," she says brightly, jumping off the counter and plopping the recipe book on the surface to go through it.

Pumpkin Roll:

3/4 cup (100 grams) all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2/3 cup (150 grams) pumpkin puree

Filling:
8 ounces (226 grams) cream cheese, room temperature
2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup (115 grams) confectioners' (powdered or icing) sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (130 grams) Heath Bits 'O Brickle or other nut brickle
or 1 cup (100 grams) chopped walnuts or pecans

Garnish:
Confectioners' (powdered or icing) Sugar

"Hmm," Molly says, reading through the ingredients and formulating her plan of attack as if she's plotting the invasion of Normandy. "So, like, wash your hands and then you get the stuff for the filling. I'm all over this other stuff," she says, skipping off to the sink to wash her own hands, then moving on to the cupboards.

Gideon smirks at Molly; she takes things in the kitchen waaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously, in Gid's opinion, but then again, he doesn't pay attention but makes a royal mess in the process... "Okay, okay." He says placatingly. "I'm listening, and I'll grab the filling for you." He washes his hands quickly (but properly, don't stress), and starts looking through cupboards, trying to find what he needs, and piling stuff on the bench.

"You can, like, totally stop with the look right there," Molly says without even turning around, because she just knows Gideon is being the smirkiest smirker that ever smirked right now. She grabs more ingredients than should be physically possible for her to fit in her girly little arms and piles them all on the bench, quickly organizing them in terms of what she will need first. "Ok, let's check this out," she says, turning to Gideon's stash. Wow, he must've, like, really been paying attention this time because he totally got all the right stuff out. She points to one of the high cupboards. "Bowls are in there and I, like, don't feel like climbing today," she greams, and gets out spatulas and whisks and the like. Oh, she totally preheats the oven, too.

Gideon greatly enjoys being the smirkiest smirker that ever smirked, thankyouverymuch. "You sure? I could give you a lift up if you like. No? Maybe next time, hey?" Even so, he has to stand on tiptoe himself in order to reach the cupboard; it is a really high one. Indeed. She remembered to turn the oven on! Good work! He grins to himself, because they forgot that last time, didn't they?

Molly giggles. "Maybe next time," she agrees, but right now she likes having her feet on the floor. She also likes that they didn't forget to preheat the oven this time, even though that was kind of hilarious. She measures things out in the right quantities, and then hands it over to Gideon to do the muscle work of actually mixing everything up, checking on the consistency every now and then and throwing in an extra dash of spice here and there, shrugging. "These recipes are always, like, way conservative on spices and flavours and stuff," she lectures, because she likes talking whether Gideon is all that interested in her imparted wisdom or not.

Gideon would like to remind Molly that he didn't find it terribly funny at all at the time, only in retrospect. He takes everything as it is being passed to him, mixing it and making sure it's right and proper. He's worried that he will screw it up, and he knows what would happen if he did. He listens to Molly chatter, stirring enthusiastically. He's not all that interested, but he listens anyway.

Gideon is still standing there, and in Mollyville, that means he is showing the required amount of interest in her conversation. Of which there is a lot. She keeps up a constant commentary of events and happily babbles out instructions until Gideon has the mixture ready and rolled out on a baking tray. "Ok, that's totally ready for baking now, stick it in the oven and then while it's going we can, like, work on the filling," she greams. She grabs some (regular) cookies from her bag for while they're waiting and hops back up onto the bench, swinging her legs back and forth and nomming on a cookie. She tilts her head to the side. "I totally love cream cheese frosting. I wonder if anyone would even notice if I, like, made a double batch just to make sure there's leftovers in the bowl," she muses, giggling.

Gideon smiles - he knows by now to listen to Molly, even if he's not really listening, you know? She does talk quite a lot. He sticks the tray into the oven carefully and takes his seat again at the bench, grabbing at a cookie and snatching it, cramming it into his mouth as quickly as he could. Then, he nods enthusiastically. "Yes! Do that. I would totally share with you, by the way. Cream cheese frosting is amazing."

Molly rolls her eyes little. "Gross, Gid! Like, no need to cram it all in at once, you know. It's not gonna disappear and it's totally not like I'll never make cookies again," she chides. She twists a little to the side so that she can reach along the bench and starts mixing up the cream cheese portion of the operation herself, flashing a quick, semi-apologetic grin at Gideon for excluding him even though he'd offered to be her assistant. "Sorry, Giddikins, it's just that cream cheese is, like, way too serious to entrust to an amateur. You understand, right?" she says brightly, mixing happily.

Gideon grins. "But, the faster I eat them the more I can eat! And don't worry, you'll just have to share that with me when you're done. You will, right?" He asks, hoping the answer is yes. Besides, part of being the assistant is knowing when you're not needed, as well as when you are.

Molly gives Gideon the look - that 'I'm trying to keep a straight face just to make you worry for a second but it's really obvious I'm greaming' look. Then she gives it up and lets the gream shine through. "Well, ok, I'll share. But you should know that it's totally only cause you're, like, my favourite sibling. It's kinda a bit thing, you know, sharing cream cheese frosting. Serious business, big bro. I'm surprised we don't have a handshake for that, yet." She finishes off the cream cheese frosting and bends practically in half to grab a couple of spoons from the drawer beneath her so that they can taste test while they're waiting for the pumpkin cake part to finish baking. Yeah, there's totally not going to be any left. She hands a spoon to Gideon, and takes a big scoop for herself.

Gideon knows that look on Molly's face, the one just before it turns into a gream. "Oh, thanks! Maybe we should make a handshake for it... Nah, that might be overkill, seeing as we already have the two handshakes. But you are my favourite sister for sharing, even though sharing is caring, as they say." He says, taking the proffered spoon from Mol and grabbing a rather large spoonful himself, despite then only licking off about half of it.

I mean, one more and it's awesome overload and then nobody ever has the chance to catch up and that's just totally too sad for them," Molly babbles. "And I'm your favourite sister all the time, right?" she checks, blinking at him with wide eyes before diving back into the cream cheese with her spoon for more.

Gideon licks the rest of the cream cheese frosting off his spoon, only replying as he reaches for more after Molly. "Yeah, it just wouldn't be fair to not let everyone else catch up to our awesomeness, would it?" He shrugs. "And yes, of course you are. But only as long as I'm your favourite brother of all time." He nods; this is a serious business, after all.
